I've tried to contact by phone to confirm pick up, left message but never got an answer. Decide to travel to the pick up site and it was open, but I would have like a answer to my message. I was not inform of cleaning chages.
Hi, The only issue we had was that we requested to get the trailer from the store at 1078 MARIE-VICTORIN, LONGUEUIL, QC J4G2H9 and later redirected to the 121 Chemin Des Patriotes
Saint-Mathias-Sur-Richelieu wish is like 45 min from home. We where told that the trailer we requested was not available at the first place. we append to pass by the first location store while going to one of our apartment building and there where two sitting there in the yard. so I am a little confused to why we where shipped so far if there where trailers available in the requested location (I would find it very surprised if two motorcycle trailers where reserve at the same time) Any way beside the lost time everything went smoothly.

Et non le louer pour un endroit et avertir 1 semaine avant qu'il n'y sera pas et qu'il nous faudra faire un détour de 30 minutes pour aller le chercher. En plus qu'il ne m'a pas été possible de le laisser dans la ville dans laquelle je l'avais préalablement loué. Beaucoup de troubles de dernière minute qui font en sorte que je ne louerai plus chez U-Haul. HAHA, en plus, le site m'oblige de marquer que l'équipement était propre et bien entretenu et que je recommande l'établissement à un ami !! Pathétique.
The gentleman working here did poor in every respect. He failed to mention his location when calling us to confirm the reservation which is nothing small considering he was more than an hour away from the location I thought I was picking it up from. Once I got there he straight up lied to my face and told me that the trailer ball I had was too big. He had his worker in on it too and they played the part well. Even though I told him I was sure my ball was a 2" he insisted it was too big for the receiving hitch on the trailer and was all too happy to cut off my old ball so he could install one from his shop that he sold to me. IN the moment I didn't know how the trailer system worked but now I understand that all he did was not fully loosen the nut that controls the clamp on the receiving hitch when pretending to try to get it on my trailer. After he installed the new one he sold me he fully loosened the clamp nut which allowed the hitch to work properly. This is an extremely dirty trick that I can't believe wasn't intentional. I now have two 2" hitch balls for my truck because of this mans sleazy tricks. I will avoid giving my business to uhaul in the future do to this experience of being taken advantage of by a company that I trusted with my business. I will definitely caution my friends and family about using uhaul in the future and suggest other companies as better options. Im sorry Uhaul but this mans greediness and sleazy nature has left a lasting bad impression. I suggest you deal with this issue head on with the curator of this location so their shortsighted greediness doesn't ruin future income earning opportunities for your franchise.
