This location was a half hour away from the location I chose when reserving online, and it took 45 minutes to get keys because the man there either didn't understand how to use the computer reservation system or the system is flawed. I gave my information to him in person and then spoke with someone online and had to repeat my information for her twice more. Fortunately I was so frustrated I found it laughable, but we lost a lot of time dealing with incompetence on Wednesday.
Extremely nice and pleasant staff. They were very busy but still very helpful to me. The trailer I originally wanted wasn't thereally but I got a different one that worked perfectly and saved me money. They are open late so it's easy to get in after work. Tight parking lot but set up nice. Will use again.
Attendant was difficult to understand and return process was slow.
The only bad thing about this location is the store front is a Getty gas station with a convenience store that is overloaded with goods. The back room in which the blankets, etc. are store is deplorable. The whole store is dark and dingy, but the agent was efficient and provided good service..
As I've experienced in the past at this location, he is amazingly slow in the checkout process and generally rude. I use this location only when absolutely necessary and avoid at all costs when I can. The retail shop is a smoke shop, selling drug paraphernalia and glass pipes. Not the image I'd expect from a uhaul dealer, leave your kids in the car.
better communication, not have customer wait for hours because they have issues with the doors closing.
Everything. Treid to charge me for three days and told me I picked up the truck at a different time than I did. I had to show him my contract of the time I picked it up. Not the first time I,ve had issues at this location.
Pretty average experience. Kind of weird that the place has chewing tobacco and knives for sale.
My wife and I are SO angry at both the very slow service and especially the misleading information given to us over the phone by the representative at D-Mart in Brooklyn, CT. We were told $0.09 /mile ... twice ... very clearly. Then, at payment time... the fee was suddenly $0.99/mile! A $29.95 rental that lasted three hours cost us $105! This is outrageous, unprofessional, unethical, and so sad to think that the only way someone can be in business is to mislead, decieve, misrepresent, bait/switch, and lie to their own customers. Never, ever again will my wife and I subject ourselves to this! We are so disgusted at this practice. It behooves Uhaul to screen their outlets more carefully. Also, the truck was in DIRE need of transmission service. What a disheartening experience.
It took me well over an hr to get the truck, and there were cigarette butts all over the back of it when I finally did it get it! His computer wasn't working and he kept leaving me waiting every time a customer came in, I literally stood in there for over an hr. Then he had to call U-Haul to get it done. What a mess, next time I will just use Budget.
The truck we rented needed a oil change.
