This trailer was a POS (do your own translation starting with piece of ----). 40+ years of renting uHaul and I never have seen such a poor piece of junk. The wiring did not work, yard man could not find problem, I found one problem, with his help in yard fixed it. Trailer wiring broke (different wires, same and different areas) at least 2 more time that night. Stopped by cops twice. Had to repair twice. Wiring are broken, full of yellow and white chemical, no contact - terrible condition. Ruined $80 worth of new clothes, extended trip by 3 hours, and really pissed me off. This trailer fails ANY safety inspection.
Notify them in advance that they have to use an actual credit card to rent a pickup or van, instead of taking their debit card information and reserving the vehicle, only to have them notified when they actually go to pick it up. The staff at this site were great.
They are not open when they state they are going to be. I called the regional district office spoke to Alejandro who was NOT HELPFUL! I advised him the company is not open and my time for the uhaul states 8am. He stated at 1st the store was closed on Sunday then I told him it was not I'm here now and it states 8am. Than he said at 10am. I have been waiting here since 7:50 am. Calling the store and leaving messages. Your rep was no help at all he wanted me to leave and come back in 30mins when the store opened but he was not willing to compensate for my gas nor my time. The paper work I have states the truck is to be returned at 8am or I will be charged. I will never rent from uhaul again as the companies you all use are unprofessional and unorganized; and your representative who refused to provide a last name or id# was no help. Your company lacks responsibility and integrity when a mistake is made, and I will let everyone I know about this problem.
It took two hours to check out a trailer, including a run to a neighboring uhaul to get a tail light connector. So many things went wrong.
