We dropped off our uhaul a day early(Sunday morning in February). I received an extra bill later that week for returning it a day late. The woman I spoke to in the office was pleasant and reversed the charge. 5 weeks later the exact same charge posted to my credit card again for returning a rental in March a day late(no rental in march). Very unhappy that uhaul has retained my credit card info 5 weeks after our commitment ended and that uhaul is trying to charge me for another usage. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the Cle Elum location or uhaul specifically.
matt LWorst app ever. You have to be aware that phones rely on 4-5G and this location had limited coverage on my phone, so every click required 20 sec to respond. Had to call customer service. Took 1 hr. The pickup instructions never mentioned the security hassles etc. Will never rent again like this. Also, cost was much higher than projected given high charge for mileage. Terrible gas mileage!
Kevin LGood service. Obviously the price is right. Nice truck the 2022 silverado. But inly 2 wheell drive. It was ok with lock up diff. From arizona. Thanks let me rent Got me thru my situation
William ROn line check out process was a very aggravating process! Truck was parked locked and keys in drop box, before knowing your system require way too many pictures! I have been a 63 year user of u-haul, never again. My experience will be shared by word of mouth, your future is doomed. Sincerely, Former customer, never again.
James WIt took me 1/2 hour to check out on the online app because the photos would not upload. The online checkout process was terrible.
Carlos LWhen we arrived during business hours, there was a sign on the door that said “running errands, be back soon.” There was no service to do an online trailer drop off. We waited half an hour, then when staff finally came back, they were snippy with us for parking the trailer by the trucks (there was no sign or directions about where to park) even though no one was there to help us.
Lexi PThey truck was clean and warmed up when we got there. The folks there were very helpful on how to drive the truck as I am blind in one eye and can't see out of the other.

Leo BLOVE these guys. It was my first time renting from them. Cle Elum is the next town over from Ellensburg but I would definitely make the drive to rent from this team. They were great! Accommodating and helpful. Quick and efficient. And the store was neat and clean. I have no issues with renting from them again nor would I hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

James WNo one ever there. Was charged extra mileage without asking for explanation and was not compensated for leaving 1/4 tank extra gas.
Dave JIt would have been helpful if the check-in location had access to the contract price. All that shows up on their screen is zero balance because my card had been charged. They finally found that info by pulling up my contract. I had that info in my email but hadn't been able to access it conveniently at that point. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful while I waited for my transportation back to Seattle.

Lora RI missed my pick up time so I had trouble getting the app to work. Had to make some calls and two hours later I was set.
Teresa CInitially, I had an issue with the app trying to return my truck. There was no one responsible for what was happening to me. It was just a password issue that I was able to avoid by dealing with the telephone customer service. The gentleman that answered the call was extremely helpful and got my truck turned in within 10 minutes. Would be more than happy to utilize you all again in the future and the location that I return the truck to was not open at the time of the return but I could see that the lot was well-kept.

Steve WI made a *very* last minute online reservation. When I arrived to pick up, the employee lectured me about the reservation system and how I should always call the store to confirm the reservation so I do not take it out from under from another customer. Ultimately, it was confirmed that the next reservation was a week out so I could take the trailer; but that confirmation (and completion of my reservation) seemed to take ages because their internet was absolutely crawling! Take-aways: Your customers are not at fault for uhual’s online reservation system even if it causes issues; my last minute reservation was not because of poor planning, it was truly a spur of the moment need for an important situation and I was in a hurry. Before walking into the store I felt very lucky that I had found a trailer that suited our needs en-route to our destination. I know internet issues are not necessarily your fault, if it’s your computer or a frequent issue then it really should be resolved. I’ve never had a trip to a uhual location take as long as this one did & this was the one time that I was in a rush!

David LIt was supposed to be a little cheaper if I went to cle elem instead of Ellensburg but I guess I went over the mileage given to me cause I drove back and fourth too many times. The lady was kinda rude about it even though I returned it on time? I could’ve just received a bill from uhaul instead she grilled me on where exactly I went and why, Moving is stressful she wasn’t very understanding!
Jenna GThey sent me on my way in a 15’ truck that had a inner rear flat tire (passenger side) and the other tires were overcompensated at 100 PSI. When I dropped it off at the Kenmore, WA location they told me I was lucky a tire didn’t blow out. Major safety violation by the Cle Elum dealer.
Todd KWas sold an outdated adapter which failed in Oregon wild fire. Forced to stay there until smoke cleared and repaired lights. The lights/adapter failed again - limped to Klamath Falls and bought a newer model. Arrived in Reno late. Reno & Klamath Falls staff were terrific!

Sam FFix the workflow on the website so customer can enter the information required to get the key to pick up their rental prior to arrival. If this is possible, it's not obvious.
