MICHAEL CI had a terrible experience this time around renting from you guys. I booked the place up the road twice on-line because it was right next to my house, but your system kept on switching me to another location past SR 301. Why would I want to go out of my way to drive back and waste money? I finally got someone from customer service to book the place that I wanted, ONLY for it to get switched again to the place off of 301, WHAT THE HELL?? I call customer service to get it fixed again, but the man on the phone booked me waaaaaaay beyond the 4 hours I needed the truck for! The icing on the cake was the truck needed a wheel alignment badly and when I returned it the internet service and the drop-off location was terrible and your app did not work. Terrible, terrible experience with you guys this time around! Rob Sanchez

Virginia MTo speak to someone at this location you have to call the Compass Storage number. The UHaul number brings you to a national UHaul representative…that’s my only complaint. Everything else went very smoothly and I appreciate that during a stressful move!

Robert IOverall great experience. The staff was super friendly and competent, and service was quick. Only negative is that the vehicle was a bit old and ran very rough. Never had any mechanical issue, just could tell it was getting close to retirement.

He said he was not going to stop what he was doing, clearly upset I had asked him. He was rude and there was no one else in the store, he simply chose not to accommodate me. I called customer service and they seemed ok with it all, however, they claimed they tried to call him but the phone was off. I’ve used uhaul dozens of times and have only had 1 other problem years ago.

Michael KThe vehicle I had picked up it’s an old junk. Rocker panels and both side are rotten to the extend I worried to drive it about 200 miles that day. The engine needs a tuneup, it is loosing it’s power ones in the while while driving on the highway. Honestly I’m ready to share my bad experience with more people and stir them away from Uhal rental. Check in and check out is really time consuming, by the time I was in the road it was already 10:45 I started checking in at 10. Same dropping off. Another thing you shouldn’t have half tank as it absurd to try to get to same level. For $200 for couple of hours I was expecting newer vehicle. In most of the states this junk wouldn’t pass the inspection. I was a body shop manager I know what I’m thinking about. It is neglecting not to take this vehicle off the road. I have pictures if interested.

William TThis is not a location for truck rental, even though I booked everything online and received no information to indicate this was the case. The morning of the rental there was no truck and the attendant was not very moved by my situation. Just gave me an 800 number to call. A customer service person sent me to a second location 30 min away that also did not have a working truck. I was sent to a third location (another 30 min drive) where I finally received a truck…15 feet instead of 20, but it was something. Terrible experience with U-Haul. Will recommend for people to go elsewhere.
