It would be wonderful if you had a slightly smaller truck, either with a back that lets down or some sort of ramp, for those of us who may not be as strong (or as tall) as we used to be. When I saw that I would have to throw my belongings up and over, and there was no easy way to get into the back and arrange things, my heart sank (I was doing this alone, and I’m 64, female, and 5’3”). Everyone was very helpful and friendly, though.

The self check in was hard to use as the location kept stating it was not the right place. Luckily the store was open and an employee helped me. It would be good for someone to review this so people who rent after hours don’t have issues.

The 15' truck I rented...the rear tires were not so good....and it was snowing. The heater blower was weak and it too forever and sometimes never kept the windshield clear....plus windshield was filthy ...had to clean it myself...truck had nearly 200k miles on it and was a little ruff...had to clean the snow off it myself and you'd think it would be pre started and warmed up.

Staff were helpful. Truck worked fine and had good tires on it; we had lots of rain. Appliance dolly worked okay, but needs the end of the belt repaired to accommodate large items like our freezer; it moved other items (dressers, sofas, wood stove, etc) fine. Minimal moving blankets available. We used this truck for multiple days and had no problems with it. The ramp was awesome!

Im a single mom of 3 n we live very little limted income Really could not financially afford to rent you hall but I thought it was my safest. Decision with having the confidence, my Belongings would be safe dry without anywhere because it was raining So this is why we chose to rent you all instead of having friends and family help us with trucks. Because that was the plan, but in the long run, we considered it be better than having to replace. Are belongings everything we have Until we go to Unload and my boxes were completely soaked. Mike, couch, my kid's mattress is my mattress. Several expensive huge bean bag chairs that go for, like, $500 and. They are soaked without anyway. Being able to just put dryer or washer Also the fact when I rented The agent at the store was a very kind. Gentleman. And he said last just Call it fuel tank was on a 1/2. A tank well, they gas stations rate across the street so I talked it off to be safe. And I mean, the gas station is directly across the street from the location and I received a receipt saying that I was charged for gas because it was low. So not only is my stuff wet, damaged, and not sure if completely ruined or not yet, but. Still not dry And definitely not well maintained, there was, and then call me amount of dirt and dust you could tell had been there for a while. Considering it's stained On top of the fact, we take the risk of Having to replace something if we break it at extremely obnoxious overpricing. But we take that chance because we had trusting you. But the truck I rented not only Was I overcharged for The agent at the locations mistake. But also having my stuff damaged wet because it leaked. And it was an enclosed cab truck. Very disappointed and Very disappointed Lost trust Las Vegas and highly unlikely to ever. Put our life in, you're hands. Because you're Equipment is out day I did and not Capped up on. I thought customers came first and. Could not I Even adjust the mirrors because they were duct tape because they were broken so I had no mirrors. If The only thing I can be told. Dropping the truck off and telling him what happened after telling this same gentleman. My story With spending all my money that I had to my name for my family so our stuff could make it to the new location. We paid well for it and to be told. The only thing that he can do for me as made a call. And they're going to call me in a few days. About a customer service complaint, are you serious? This is absolutely disgusting, we will see and a few days if I'm going. Viral with this or not. I intend to if this is not made right? I did my part. And for what to use every dollar I Had for my family. After making that decision so I didn't rest the fact of losing everything we own everything.

Bring price down a little.

The equipment I reserved was not fit to be on the road . Front end had a shimmy , the check engine light was on , it smelled like it was leaking gas and it was disgusting . The staff at this location was great , when I called Uhaul to get a different truck I was told I needed to travel 35 miles to get a different one . If good customer service was UHaiuls goal they would have offered to drop a truck off . Not insist I go get it . If I ever need to rent again it WONT be Uhaul .

Lights for the hvac didn't work and it had a grinding sound coming from the back axle area going above 40mph. Wasn't able to tell the person at the store on return as they were all busy

Women checking us out and in was nice truck needs some front end work kinda loose steering. Pass side outside rear tire went flat I put air in it. Over all was ok. Told them at check in to turn it in and get another truck

I booked my truck weeks ago in Rumford. I was moving from one location in Rumford to another location in Rumford and I was told when I called the day before to confirm that there would be no truck in Rumford that I had to go to Farmington. This not only wasted 2 hours but I had to pay for the gas. This is not right. Poor business practice. If they changed my location they should pay for the gas from the original location to Farmington.

To improve services, you should either give your trucks a full tank of gas to start so people don't get ripped off. I was given a truck wuth a quarter of a tank, filled it, did my move. Returned the truck with almost a full tank and no refund but yet I got charged for going 24.milrs over. Your company is a piece of shit, ripping people off. Hope that 100 dollars in gas get siphoned.outta your truck.

The key drop off box a a bit hard to find, probably because it looked like a cigarette butt container and I was tired.

The vehicle had undocumented damage which I brought to the attendants attention. The exterior was very dirty. Took almost 45 minutes from the time I arrived at the site to finally completing the rental and being able to depart.

Not happy! So glad that I took a picture of milage and amount of fuel when I picked it up! Contract shows it was full and it only had 1/2 a tank. Returned it with 1/2 tank and got charged for them to fill it! Lesson learned, check EVERYTHING and document it!

Everything was excellent. It took a while to find a location with a truck available when we needed it. And when we arrived at the agreed upon time the truck had not been returned and was therefore not available. We did some shopping and went back hoping it had been returned in the interim. It had not and in fact was still many miles away. But the clerk had found us another truck bigger but being provided at the same price. The truck was spotless, he provided plenty of moving blankets and we were more than happy. The truck drove beautifully and we arrived at our destination safe and happy. Can't really comment too much on Johnson's in East Machias where we returned the truck since they were closed at the time. But it was handy (15 minutes from our destination) and we parked the truck, dropped the keys in the box and left happy. All in all, you guys did great after a slightly rocky start which was in no way your fault.

Don't book through the other local hauls because they misinformed me about the Farmington location. They said it was a one way drop spot trying to make me responsible for repositioning their equipment.

I thought it would an easy process to pick the truck up before work and be able to pack it later but I was wrong. The code we were provided for the lock box was wrong and we spent almost 30 minutes in the pouring rain trying to figure it out. Luckily we did because the phone number provided on the website was disconnected and the 1-800 number had a long wait and the store did open until after I had to be at work. This almost made me late for work. The truck was the perfect size and worked great. The following day I received a call asking where the keys were when I had followed the directions exactly and put them in the lock box again. Not sure how they were missed. I’m so happy to be done moving and hope to not have to use this service again because it was not a great experience and I took me several weeks to actually get a truck in my area because there are not enough available.

One small hiccup with picking up the truck, two minor to mention, but received a call from U-Haul headquarters things are straightened out and handled in a manner that was more than satisfactory.

Convenient location and helpful store personnel. One hiccup to mention: I had reserved for self-pickup at 7am. It appears this location does not offer self-pickup. So, when I checked at the last minute before leaving for the pickup, I learned that I would need to wait until 8am when the store opened.

The fuel gauge on pickup was incorrect. I was charged a fuel surcharge even though I clearly documented the discrepancy.

The self check-in system was flawed since the app couldn’t find my location despite my location services being turned on. Thankfully, the staff inside Aubuchon hardware were knowledgeable and very competent and made chech-in and check-out a breeze.

Uhaul needs to improve how they rent the trucks . The truck I rented was book for myself and another person . My rental was for 9 and there's was for 10 .
