The truck was squeaky, sounded like a belt that needs replacing. The squeak sounded every time I pushed on the gas pedal.

carl rWe signed up with a DE license for pick-up in PA. But we had trouble with the app at pick-up because we had an out of state license. We had to call for support. They were very helpful, but perhaps this could have been addressed when we reserved.
Stephen CThis site was not open yet so they did nothing. Corporate support was very good guiding me through the use of the lock box. My original rental was supposed to be from Michael Cole in west grove pa. But no was there. Very poor experience at Michael Cole.

Greggory DOperator was helpful with mobile check in. Truck leaked signifcantly. It was a rainy day and several items in the truck during the move were damaged by the interior water leaks. Very disappointed to be charged in full for an inferior truck / equipment. A partial refund is what I am expecting.

BARRETT CMore on customer service. But u haul did a crap job. They canceled my original appointment didn’t tell me. I had to randomly see it on the app and customer service just did nothing to make it right. As good as Kennett square was. I will no longer be using the service. Also the Philly staff on the phone were rude and nasty to me.

Earl SYour software for after hours check-in/check-out is a nightmare and is in no way the fault of the location. The scanner diesn't work, the number of pics is ridiculous especially when I am disabled and walking around on ice in the dark. I was seeiously clise to throwing my phone on the ground in frustration- and I have tech background. I can imagine what it is for anyone with my level of tech. Please fix your software.

DAWN BAgain it took a long time to get to a failed result on the u-haul app. it seems like a good idea but perhaps needed good internet access which is not available at this location. I gave up and turned in my key.
Richard KThe location is amazing. The truck we had sounds like it's going to throw a rod. Suspect it's either the shift cellenoids or the TCU. Wanted ti givw yiu a heads up so the truck doesn't leave someone in a bad situation.

Justin HThe pick-up process via the lock box was very time-consuming and not efficient. It kept asking me for the same information. I wasted at least 15 minutes with this process. The next time I will probably just wait and go inside when the store is open. The staff was very nice and helpful when I returned the vehicle. The online app was not working.

Zachary TThe mobile order process was terrible. Your customer service is profoundly lacking. I couldn’t get the code for the lockbox. I tried calling and it took 20 minutes to get connected the first time. Then I was transferred and it took another twenty minutes to get a rep. It took an hour of wasted time to get my truck. I give zero stars for this experience and will use Penske for the second part of my move.

Bartholomew OI rented a 15’ truck with over 155K miles on it… the air conditioning works haphazardly and the front end shakes as you drive. I believe it’s time to retire this vehicle and provide a safer and more comfortable vehicle. I paid the same for this relic as I would for a nicer vehicle and after 155K miles; I sure U-Haul got there money’s worth out of this vehicle…that’s my two cents!
Wesleigh SPrevious customer was returning our rental late. We were informed the night before and offered an upgraded vehicle. I appreciated that the issue was communicated. The location was very busy at pick up, but they were very kind, calm and worked efficiently.
Ronald YTypically I have a good experience at this location. This time I set up my rental for after hours pickup and when I showed up my reservation was canceled and then adjusted to be picked up in Philly. ( not by me) I sat outside for 1.5 hours on the phone being disconnected to learn all of this while an employee walked past me to unlock the door and go into work. I told her I was having problems, she offered no help. I eventually went in after not being able to work the app on my phone … furious. As a small business owner.. if someone was outside of my business having issues and one of my employees did not offer help to resolve the situation I would be mortified. Again, I rent from this location often and have never had an issue with a accidental cancelation but this was extremely frustrating in 90 degree heat and humidity.

Angelo CFirstly, $1.79/ mile is ridiculous. I drove 13 miles and was charged for 2 gal of gas. 18 wheelers get 4 gal per mile not a small box truck. This is ABSOLUTELY LAST time I rent from U-haul. Bye Bye FOREVER.

FRED HThe directions to find the lock box were very unclear. It said first to locate your truck. Then go to the front door. Turn around and find the pole. It should have said go to the store front, then turn around and locate the pole. I spent 30 minutes looking for the lockbox.
Mitchell WThe location is poorly suited for 24/7 Truck Share. There is virtually no cell (Verizon) service that made check in and drop off extremely frustrating. It took over 1 hour for each, primarily because of the non existent internet connection. The app also does not work properly. Simple things like uploading a picture were problematic. It kept saying it could not read the back of my license and required 3 or 4 different uploads, same quality pic as the front of my license. Then it kicked me out and when I got back in, it was accepted. Same with my drives license number - a simple string of numbers. Kept rejecting it, said it was not valid. After I got kicked out of the app and got back in, they were accepted. During return I took pictures of the interior and the app did not accept them. I was then kicked off and could not find my rental and return information for this rental to finish the return. After calling customer service I was told that my rental had been completed! But I had no instructions for where to leave the keys. The agent helped me locate that. The truck rental itself was fine as was the support from the call center. You need to audit your 24/7 rental locations to ensure a proper level of cell reception or provide wifi to allow for a smoother check in or drop off. The app also needs to be more trouble free and less problematic.
Imants SThe location is fine however the app is appallingly bad both in terms of user experience design and actual function. I ended up having to use the website because the app wouldn’t even load. In principle it’s a nice idea but the app needs some refinement.
