Service was terrible. Picked up a Uhaul truck at another location in Phoenix. Had an issue picking up, which resulted in me being an hour late for my trailer pick up from here. I discussed the issues I was having with a guy named Justin from Uhaul that called me to ask if I was still coming to get the trailer. I told him the issues I was having and that I would be about an hour late. He said there would be no issues. When I finally got the truck and was headed to this location to get the trailer. I gave a them a call to tell them I was on the way. The woman that answered the phone told me I was not able to pick up for another hour or so because the guy that does the trailers left…..? Okay, fine. I call back at 3:45 and he still was not back, and they close at 5. So I changed the pickup to the next morning and changed my plans to head to Houston the next morning. I get there to pick up and the guy is a huge jerk. I was quoted $324. He charged me $800…. Just for the trailer. I called him to discuss the issue and he said he was closed…. It was 2pm on a Saturday. His hours online said that he was open until 5. So I called back and told him the hours online stated they were open until 5 and I wanted to get this resolved because I paid entirely too much for the trailer. He told me “he owns this business and can close whenever tf he wants….” Therefore, I would not recommend this man’s business to ANYONE. He’s rude and very unprofessional. (I did speak with the district manager and he was able to refund me the amount I was overcharged, and he was very nice. I just want to make others aware of the poor services and attitude that I received here)
Haley SensebeUnit was not in the condition as shown in the pictures. There was a large patch where it had been punctured all the way through. I submitted it in the app at pickup. Also, one spring is flattened and obviously older than the other. The whole trailer leaned slightly left the entire time. It wasn't obvious at first.

Luis MatosThe steering of truck was terrible. It wandered so bad that tried change lanes or rub off the road after a bump in the road. The truck was dangerous to druve. The location didn't have the ordered number of furniture pads. Tried to drop at the designated location, but they wouldn't take the truck. Had to go somewhere else.
GERALD EATONThe sun vizier was broke off the driver’s side and I had to take the van cause there was no one around to tell them and I drove in the Sun on the way and on the way back I drove in the Sun again! There was nothing I could do cause I had to have the van that day and time! Van drove good though.

The next day, I received an extra $80 charge for late turn in fee, cleaning $25 because I accidentally left a box and water bottle in it, and $29 for gas fill even though I had filled the truck to what it was when I picked it up.
Joseph GarciaAfter several failed attempts of getting ahold of someone from the 800 number I ended up turning the equipment to this location. Staff there could not help me resolve the issue with chanting my drop location. Very irritated I ended up paying way more than the rental was worth. Needless to say, I WILL NOT advise why friends or family to utilize uhaul for ANY services at all.
MARVIN PRICEThe photo precheck for damage was limited by poor cell service. Had to upload photos twice then gave up. Would prefer to go over with a person and receive a written document.
Robert MurphyThe people at the location were very nice but unable to assist with the rental. They wanted me to go to another location to check out the rental and then come back to pick up the truck. I was short on time so I checked out on the app because then I didn’t have to go to the other location. The women working had never seen the app and was unable to assist in any way. I received a text to verify the rental while I was on my way to return 4 hours after I picked it up. When I returned the truck they had to call a supervisor to get him to check the truck back in because the mileage was incorrect. The email receipt I received about 15 minutes after I dropped the truck off was incorrect with the mileage (good thing I took pictures - it was the correct number of miles but not the actual mileage) and the amount was more because i declined the CDW coverage originally but it was on there. The coverage was $10 so I haven’t done anything about it because the people at the location seemed unable to handle the problem. I will not rent from this location again and only did this time because they were close to my house. In the future it would be worth it to drive a little further.

LeRoy YagerRemove this UHaul location all together. My Mom and Dad went to return the trailer for me the following day and had a terrible time doing so. The owner of Canyon State Car Care,El Mirage, Az 85335 would not give them a receipt after returning the trailer,and asking for a paper receipt he told my Mom, "Get the Fuck out of my office. I am calling the police because you are trespassing." At that point my Mom told him,"I am conducting business-how can I be trespassing? Better yet, I will call the police" After the police arrived they heard the owner yelling at the policeman outside the office. after a short time the officer returned to them explained the owner's side of the story and handed them a paper receipt. After thinking about the situation - I wonder if the store owner would have done the same if a white person walked in there? My family is hispanic and I DO NOT TAKE TO DISCRIMINATION LIGHTLY - I AM TIRED OF IT. PLEASE REMOVE THIS UHAUL LOCATION TO DETER ANY OTHER BUSINESSES FROM DISCRIMINATION IN THE FUTURE.
Emilio MartinezI was overcharged, the wrong keys were left in the pick up box and the truck was dirty. The manager is supposed to call me because supposedly he is the only one that can issue a refund for the double billing.

They were so slow checking in the truck and tried telling me they were going to charge me $30 for not replacing the gas that was right under 3/4 a tank. I had to tell them not to charge me because the contact says if it’s less than 1/4, then there’s a fee. I waited 45 minutes for them to check it in after asking them 3-4 times how long it was going to take.
