henry calderonMy previous review was 3 stars, but a subsequent encounter with the staff was very good. The exterior of the drop-off point is an auto salvage yard, with lots of rusting hulks; would be better if they could clearly indicate a section of the lot for rentals. And signage is brusque - 'No trespassing! Don't touch the trucks!" Not welcoming. But the staff, in person, was very helpful.

louis andrusVery kind staff and quick turn around. I do wish the truck had had more gas in it. Capitan is very remote and I was driving to another remote space, with only one gas station on the way. I filled up in capitan because there is often not even cell service where I was traveling to. I wound up putting $50 worth of extra gas in your corporate pocket because I had to make sure I would not run out of gas on a back road. I just was told I was out of luck. Uhaul should consider how they could assist with issues like that. I would have been content with a future rental credit. Now? I’m considering what other company I can use that doesn’t profit over a situation that I had no simple way around.

Daniel DuyncanU Hauls “pick up by phone” failed again. Could not upload pictures for proof of purchase. Operators of service had to be called in, on a weekend, from their home, to complete transaction. If you advertise this option, I would think that it should work. The local operators are super nice and helpful, which is a lot more than I can say for your “phone” operators. I think I was interrupting your phone operators breakfast.

Chris AuclairThe only glitch that I encountered was mobile check in — after entering all of my information, the website repeatedly gave me a failure message stating that it recognized 3 separate phone numbers (my cell, my husband’s cell, my company phone) as the number associated with my account. If you could fix that bug, it would greatly improve the customer experience , especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
