It was hard to understand the questions he was asking. He didn't speak English well.
The people running it were not friendly and did a below-average job of explaining how the process goes/what to expect.
The guys who operate the U-HAUL station do so out of a gas station, there is very little signs indicating that it is a U-HAUL dealer, once inside, communicated w/ them in basic english is a problem, as was the fact that they indicated the gas tank was full when in actuality it was less than 3/4ths full.
Truck needs to be clean on the inside...
The clerk didn't know how to put the code for the blanket rental into the register, so I didn't rent blankets.
Gas tank fuel level in question ,never did walk around, had a dolly in back they didn't know was there. Put gas in at their station and fuel pump hose leaked all over!
I had to call here multiple times, over an 18 hour period, to ask & remind them of my reservation, only to find out in the end that they did not (could not) have the truck that I ordered - I had to then change plans at the last minute & drive an 30 extra miles for pick-up at another location.
Location never faxed over the gas level to drop off location making me have to pay a gas charge when i dropped off.

The location was great - Call center customer service was horrible! Had to call to change schedule a couple of times and only 1 out of 3 reps were competent - that was bad!
One side of tires looked good, the right side tires were completely bald. Not usually a huge problem but I was moving to an area that had snow.
The pricing of it all obviously wasn't fully explained to me since I paid more than was quoted, by far.

Is supposed to get an extra day free for taking the truck to a different location than where I was moving. Instead, I got charged for an extra day and mileage. The two people at the drop off location did not speak English well, so I could not get them to understand that they were charging me too much. I was not happy.
My daughter-in-law had to unhook the chains because the
young man that was accepting the drop off was reluctant
to get dirty.
Maybe spray the cab with an air freshener, or put air fresheners inside.
No hassles. Reserved the truck and picked up later in the day. I was able to complete the return transaction with out paper work in hand. Thanks.
Attendant that rented be the truck seemed confused and led me to believe that I could return truck at any location. Next day I spent OVER 2 HOURS trying to return truck. Every place I took it to said they could take my truck over the phone, but when I arrived the could no longer accept it after looking at my paper work. Each location sent me to a new location explaining that the next place was able to take my return. 2 and a half hours and 5 locations later, someone accepted my return. However the return took 45 min to process. Worst moving experience ever.
