The folks at Golden East make it easy to rent a truck. They're also understanding and go out of their way to make things right. For instance, I was overcharged but they called Uhaul and corrected the mistake. You couldn't ask for more.

People were nice. It was disappointing that the equipment I requested wasn't available - utility hauler. They did offer an appliance mover but the movers said it isn't very useful. It was disappointing that I couldn't get the truck in Roanoke Rapids as I requested.

Put a jack on the lounge of the trailer or at least some type of fold down stand. Takes two people to drop and hook up. That was a real pain. Also dangerous. Other than that, your people and equipment were great.

Get a better rep that was not nasty to me. She got really upset explaining the drivers license process to me. Yelled at me. I was not expecting to be treated like that. The Mgr came & helped me he was kind.

I walked into the office a bit desperate, being 70 and trying to do too much in a hurry and downcast. People sprang into action. By the time I brought the truck back, I was smiling and full of cheer. They helped with information, and a rental and took time to listen and encourage. They were better than family.
