Michael CHerrods did an excellent job! The first location I was directed to by the App was horrible. The only person who could rent wasn't on site and the other one only spoke broken English. I told them after waiting 20 mins only to find out those facts to forget it. I went to Herrods and they got my reservation transferred to them and got me on my way in just over 10 mins. I highly recommend Herrods for Uhaul rentals.

ronald rmy original reservation was forcing me to go to Rodock Dental LLC when i reserved for Herrods. I went to Rodocks the day before and it was closed I was not comfortable at the location and didn't want to give them my CC information which is another issue. I went to Herrods and they were able to re-assign me to pick up closer to my home and at a more reputable establishment
Tom ACab of truck was filthy. Whoever previously used the truck was a heavy smoker,smoked in the cab & used the cup holders for ashtrays & left all the butts! Truck bed interior was filthy, we had to sweep it out before using.
Carol AI like U-Haul, always use U-Haul. U-Haul boxes, tape, specialty boxes are great. I have gotten trucks that were kind of ratty, even low on oil once. Not lately though. Never had a truck let me down tho.

Larry MThe guy I booked this truck through told me all of your trucks have a ramp. So 1 man, a child and a lady with plates and rods in her back had to lift furniture. We could have used the hand truck but since we didn’t have a ramp we couldn’t use it. So disappointed.

It wasn't until I dropped the truck off and uhaul double billed me. If uhaul ran like the pickup location did, they would have a 5 star review as well.

Scarlett SHerrod's Standard was very professional and did an excellent job. However, I made reservation at 1 location but when I went to pick up trailer, they said my reservation was at a different location (Herrod's). They acted like I goofed up even though I had my confirmation email as proof. Why did you change my reservation? That is extremely shady. I think you owe me the $50 guarantee because I had to go to a different location then the 1 I made the reservation at to get my trailer and changed my reservation to cover up that you didn't have my trailer..
Eric BWhen I made my reservations on line I picked a store closer to my location but the day before I got ready to pickup it was at a different location and was charged for those additional miles.

Angela BThis "local" move was changed last minute to another pick-up location that was 10 miles away from where I had to pick up the tow dolly at another location I did not request. It cost me an extra $20 in milage to drive back and forth in an empty truck to pick up and drop off a dolly. U-Haul used to be an honorable company, now, you are only after my money and saving me on moving costs are not even thought about. You stole $20 from me and did not even blink. When I complained to the managers at the different locations, they said they could not do anything about it. I used U-Haul for almost 30 years for military moves, never again and I will stop recommending you to all of my military families moving. Ryder may cost a bit more, but at least they are up front on their prices and not trying to gouge me every chance they get.

Edward WOriginal truck that was already rented and paid for was not there. Upgraded us at the same price as the original but delayed us over an hour.
Alexander CI originally rented a truck from the location on Chantilly. When I arrived the guy told me the previous renter had called that morning and said he needed it for 5 more days. he basically gave me a number and said call them. No help or sympathy for my situation. The guys in Prattville did all they could to help and were very kind. Gave me all they had left. The truck was huge and banged up but did the trick.

RONALD ORude older man left nasty messages on my voicemail even after my husband spoke to the female employee the day before pick up!
pamela hThis location was very busy with servicing there gas station customers and I was told just to put my Uhaul key on the counter & they would email me my final receipt. I did get the receipt about 2 hours later so I guess their customer service was good.

Lanetta AThe truck was not as described. Old, beat up truck—no A/C and a complete piece of junk. I returned the truck with more gas than required and they added another 7 gallons. I took a picture of the ending mileage and the gas gauge before turning in the keys. Contacted U-Haul to file a grievance and provided proof and U-haul refuses to respond to the complaint. My next step is to file a grievance with the Better Business Bureau against U-haul and the Service Station that ripped me off!

Guilaine DThe guy at the counter was very sweet! The truck drove AWFUL!!! My original reservation was for a Montgomery location at 7:00 AM. It was changed to another location in another city at 8:00 AM! Didn't get truck until after 10:00!!! The person I spoke to prior to picking up the truck promised to get us our military discount, but that wasn't done and he was not there!!! Horrible experience that took us all day because of the way the truck drove!!!
