Don’t lose returned equipment in your own parking lot and suggest customers theft. Don’t ask customers to wait for returned equipment photos to be taken, by a person visibly going about his other hardware store employee tasks, while the customer languishes seated at a patio set display like an animated manikin wishing to be anywhere else cooler and more accommodating. And I truly feel sorry for you working for a company that forces you to add penalty charges to a customer invoice, because they refuse to be involuntarily indentured as Uhaul’s slave drone equipment delivery personnel and drive an extra 100 miles out their way to deliver Uhaul’s equipment for them at their own further added miles, fuel expense, and time. It’s unfortunate it made for a very unpleasant experience after already spending 9 or 10 hours behind the wheel, and likely would have exceeded legally allowed big rig driver time on the road. But on a brighter side (be there any at the rate Uhaul is falling to), think of all the travelers on 395 we potentially saved that day. Tell Uhaul to go to hell-o fresh and avoid foods containing corn syrup. Cheers ~ Exploited, Extorted, and Exit Bye Cya

Inside of cab was pretty dusty and some dirt on floor. But I wiped down cash before I left town so all was good. Wasn’t breathing in that dust.

AMAZING customer service! They really went the extra mile and made me feel valued. The mechanic that took the trailer off was FIRST RATE and deserves a raise! He went above and beyond and U-Haul is damn lucky to have him!! GREAT JOB!!

Yes after I rented a trailer they told me I had to pay for a adapter for the lights I have a regular trailer plug but I had to pay extra for a plug 🔌 for my Toyota 4Runner so I could use the trailer which I should not have to pay for to use the trailer. I purchased it anyways because I needed the use of a trailer it’s just very disappointing to be told after I rent the trailer that I need to pay for something else just to use it when the trailer had a less than adequate plug for my vehicle 🚗

The driver that originally went out to pick up the pod on our initial date may have saved my brother's life by calling me. I didn't know how bad it was. We got him to a hospital that day and he stayed there til I flew out to get him. Thanks to friends we got everything packed, and he's now with me and doing better. She was a literal guardian angel.

Every time I visit I'm asked to send photos of my driver's license. It would be much more convenient if U-Haul (or the pick-up location) kept driver's license photos from previous rentals so I wouldn't have to provide photos each time. The current U-Haul process uses customers' smart phones to exchange receipts and other documentation. U-Haul should be more accommodating toward customers like me that don't have smart phones.

The customer service was terrible from the phone call to reserve the trailer. It took over half an hour just to pay for the rental. And when I got there the 2 girls sat and discussed who would help me while I stood there and waited to be helped. I definitely will not go to this location again for anything.

The online check out process is super inconvenient. The truck had more miles on it then the contract said as well as less gas then it sad. The truck was pretty beat up but it was very clean. The staff at my uhaul location were very helpful and friendly.

Be honest with the customer, don’t lie, don’t ghost the customer, everything in the UBox was broke or damaged, due to it being in an accident, which no one could communicate. It was paid to be delivered to my home the local store gave me the run around, wouldn’t deliver til I paid them directly. One employee called me stupid, said it wasn’t her problem and told me she didn’t care if my mom died before receiving her UBox. All because I refused to pay them double for delivery. Now I’m fighting with the claims department, to get items paid for. Uhaul loves to be non-responsive. I will end this on a good note as I did have two positive interactions. One with Corporate and finally one with the local place, to include the delivery driver. But overall I would rate the entire experience as a negative, which is sad, because I have used Uhaul in the past to transfer personal items across country and locally and never had the rudeness or issues I’m facing now.

After fixing the charges for after hour drop off, I am satisfied with their service. It seems that is charged automatically even when you drop it off through the app. Good reason to always check the final reciept, and get reimbursed.. very nice people and far better then the other UHaul place I used in the past.

When your customer has a picture of the trailer with the drop off time and the UHaul site was having issues and couldn't get the picture to load to it. Don't charge the $20. Saying you had to do the check out on it. Unhappy with the customer service on that.

The only issue I had is with the new requirement that a photo of my driver's license needed to be uploaded to a "secure server". Secure means that it will eventually be hacked putting me in the position of having to pay for a service to monitor my identity for activity not initiated be me. Must be a better way....

Made the reservation over the phone for a 6x12' trailer with ramp. Process was easy and had no hiccups. As usual, Uhaul provided very sturdy equipment at a fair price. Thanks high desert home center 93555. You guys are great!

The check-out process was exhausting, which caused me to almost miss my appointment. At issue was the requirement for the clerk to call an acquaintance to verify identity. This step was so needless as no other businesses, such as car rental companies, in their right minds would implement.

The hidden fees are ridiculous. I was told $29.95 for a day's rental and $0.99/mi and nothing else. When I returned the vehicle and was shown the bill, I was outraged to see that beyond the $14 in gas I'd used, there was $50 more in fees! The customer service person told me that that information was sent in a hyperlink text upon reserving and that it was my responsibility to read it. The text information for the hyperlink did nothing to communicate its necessity, and I assumed it was just legal liability jargon. My conviction is that it is the customer service person's responsibility to make the customer aware of any hidden fees. The customer service person was totally callous, and I was so frustrated by her unresponsiveness that I finally just spat Fine I'll pay it! and walked out.

Employees can’t help or answer questions because they’re not actually Uhaul and don’t know. The manager of the store was great and tried her best but had no control over what was happening. First, “estimating” a price to charge me then charging me again when I return the U-Haul? Then I have to wait for the estimated total they charged me and are HOLDING EVEN STILL for five business days is not okay.

Tried to get us to use a 26 foot truck with 3 out 4 bald tires in the back. Got switched out for a 20 foot truck and the price was the same as the 26 foot truck. Was told they were unable to do anything about the Price difference. Called U-Haul and they said they would have been able to do something about the Price and should have but they didn’t. So left with a smaller truck and a car hauler. Wouldn’t recommend at all!

Do not unilaterally change terms of your bilateral contract agreements to suit your own equipment transport needs at your customer’s expense. Do not indenture customers as unpaid equipment transport labor under extorted threat of bogus “wrong drop-off” penalties. When added fuel and rental costs to customers results from failure to provide equipment reserved, train and delegate your employees with the common sense authority to fairly compensate customers for the added trouble, inconvenience, and out-of-pocket costs it caused.
