The vehicle was reserved for a 10 A.M. pickup. Nothing available. a vehicle was located at made available by 12:00 noon. The cargo compartment was filthy with broken glass and other debris. There was supposedly (5/8) of a rank of gas. Actually about 1/2. The drop off was screwed up because of reserving on line and lack of attention to detail by the individuals at J & L Service.
1) the dome light inside the truck does not work. We load the truck with only a flash light.
2) we bought the furniture blanket and assumed it is inside the truck. No. It is not there. And the site closed already. You either load the truck without blanket or wait till in.net the morning. We're loaded the truck without blanket, and have quite few dining room tables scratched
Service at the location was great. Submitting the information to the company was another story...very frustrating & time consuming. The u-haul was clean, in good shape and traveled well.
Now to find out that our fee was charged twice to my credit card. Hopefully, it won't turn into a hassle to get this taken care of.
The man @ J & L who took care of was rushed, rude & unpleasant!! I won't ever stop there again.
This location was approximately 10000% better than my first experience. The owner of the shop was incredibly helpful and did everything he could to help me out.
