The young lady that was working the desk was very polite, respectful, and friendly. However, she was not knowledgeable on the Uhaul computer system and did not seem like she had been trained to accomplish this part of the business. She sent me to the Uhaul location down the street to attempt contract completion at the other location, but they had to send me right back. When she finally got my contract completed on the phone with a Uhaul rep, she sent me to parking lot to get the equipment without even checking what I took or showing me how to hook up the trailer. She just stayed in the office. The entire pick up process took 55 minutes.
Have staff that know how to even rent the equipment out. Also have what online says is available. They didn't have one of the two rolling dollies I ordered or the hand truck and then she couldn't take them off my bill because she
Doesn't know what she's doing, and I got charged for renting them and not returning them. Fucking ludacris bullshit!!
The worker did not respect my privacy, she completed my reservation and asked my name address phone number while another customer was filling out an application for storage. She was not knowledgeable about the process as far as saving me money. I could have returned the rental to this location but was told it was cheaper to drop it off elsewhere. I spent 180 dollars when I could have saved some cash, with the local move. The Cab had a box in it and the smell inside was not good. She never came out to inspect the Cab with me and told me I had to fill the tank up to 7/8 and return it with 7/8 and it was actually below 1/4. overall a horrible experience through an already stressful time. I selected not to use the storage facility due to the lack of professionalism.
we reserved a trailer when we got there to pick it up it was the only one they had. the passenger tire was bald and cords were showing in spots on it. The answer I got was that I was dropped off over the weekend and nobody checked it in. since it was the only trailer available we took it and then called road side assistance to get the tire replaced. there are 3 other uhaul dealers in town and no one had a trailer or would work on the tire.I recommend that uhaul takes a look at the dealers in Valdosta and their business practices I was not happy with any of their service and the lack of assistance we got from then in that area.
