On May 25, 2023, I ordered a truck with a trailer to transport the car from your representative (at 103rd Street in Jacksonville FL). On Saturday, May 27, 2023, in the morning, I received a message by phone that my order would be available for pickup at U-HAUL MOVING & STORAGE AT FOURAKER ROAD 1501 NORMANDY VILLAGE PKWY JACKSONVILLE,FL 32221 It was an acceptable location for me. However, that same day around 4:22 pm I received an email that my order would be available for pickup at 1439 BLANDING BLVD, ORANGE PARK, FL 32065 which is approximately 20 miles from my original order. So I called your representative and asked if I could pick up my order at the previous location which is U-HAUL MOVING & STORAGE AT FOURAKER ROAD 1501 NORMANDY VILLAGE PKWY JACKSONVILLE,FL 32221 Your representative has informed me that he will try to help me. On May 28 at 3:24 am. I received an email that I can pick up my order at U-HAUL MOVING & STORAGE AT FOURAKER ROAD 1501 NORMANDY VILLAGE PKWY JACKSONVILLE,FL 32221 Around 9:00 am. On May 28, I went to the indicated address at U-HAUL MOVING & STORAGE AT FOURAKER ROAD 1501 NORMANDY VILLAGE PKWY JACKSONVILLE,FL 32221 to pick up ordered vehicles. However, the vehicles I ordered were not there, I only received information that they are available for pickup at 1439 BLANDING BLVD, ORANGE PARK, FL 32065. Very dissatisfied, I went to the indicated address (about 20 miles difference) where I picked up the vehicles. After driving about 1 mile, I decided to take a picture of the dashboard to confirm the number of miles and the amount of current fuel (in the attached first photo, the fuel level allows me to drive 166 miles) from my calculations, I should fill up about 15 gallons of fuel to safely complete the planned trip, so I refueled 15 gal. fuel. After a peaceful trip on Tuesday morning, I parked the entire set of rental vehicles in the designated place. The employee didn't even look at the vehicle, took the vehicle keys and informed that that was all and that I could go now. Before returning the keys, I took a photo of the dashboard again (second photo, you can see that the fuel level allows you to drive another 163 miles), so there is a similar amount of fuel in the fuel tank as when the vehicle was collected. AND NOW THE BEST!!!!! By e-mail I received a settlement in which I was told that the fuel was not enough and I had to fill up with 8 more gallons of fuel. ( now please compare both pictures and tell me if it takes 8 gallons to go 4 miles more? ) other than that I did 6 miles more than planned but the fact that the vehicles I ordered were in a different location (about 20 miles difference) didn't affect it ? According to my calculations, for the 107 miles the car needed 23 gallons of fuel, so it burned about 5 miles/gal??????????????? To sum up: someone is trying to deceive me. I have moved several times using other companies but this is the first time I have such a situation (and I don't mean $46 but the case)
