This entire experience was bullshit. First off they did not have the 10’ truck we reserved at our pick up time and refused to honor the $50 off that is posted all over your website for not having the truck when you arrive. We were given a beat up 15’ that the door wouldn’t even close all the way. We had the truck reserved until 1pm the next day and returned it at 1030 in the morning the next. They were not open and we were never told that the location would be closed that Sunday. They charged us a $20 after hours fee. The truck was completely clean, we swept it out before we returned it and they charged us a $25 cleaning fee. The truck had 5/16 of a tank of gas when we picked it up. We filled it back to 5/16 at the gas station THAT SHARES A PARKING LOT WITH THE LOCATION. They said it was only at 1/4 tank and charged us $8.08 for 2 gallons of gas. We were also extremely careful not to touch the dolly that came with the truck and was bolted to and tagged to the truck, we never used it but they charged us $7.00 for the dolly that was attached to the truck and we never used. I have my own appliance dolly so I have no reason to use the little one that was in there. It’s quite funny that all of these inspection based charges, like the cleaning fee, and gas, and dolly all happened when we were not the to call them out. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul and I will be contacting corporate to get these bogus charges removed ASAP as well as switching all of my business in the future to budget or Penske.

John Dugganso.. I had a rental reserved at another location for 6pm only to find they closed at 4:30- with no prior notice. The Lil General store did a great job of renting me something much bigger (but it was all he had) for me to accomplish the move. The truck was in need of some maintenance - it ran ok.. but drove horribly. I paid extra for a truck too big for the job. At least the gentleman at the Lil General Store was wonderful in helping me.
