larue davisThe unit I rented, a 5x8 trailer, AV 0506#, Lic. PV25077 - should be removed from service until repaired. The roll up door does not always fully retract. Additionally, the rubber gasket at the bottom of the door is mostly gone. The combination of these 2 issues creates a safety issue of head bumps and cuts. I was cut using this trailer.

Nancy CrawfordThis location barely had a place for me to park without blocking an entrance, garage door or the driveway. The small lot was filled with cars and another business or church’s vans. I had to park in the grass and hope it was a useable parking space. I’m sure the office & staff are nice (I dropped it off on a holiday, no interaction with the office at all), but I was concerned that I parked in the wrong lot or even the wrong business and worried I’d be charged for not parking it where I should have.

JAMES BORKOWSKIThere was no lighting and felt very unsafe while taking an hour to rent the truck via mobile pickup. I was requestes and was promised a dolly and blankets and there was neither. I had to go purchase my own dolly and use my own blankets.. this is the worst experience I have ever has with uhaul in my 20 something moves.

sharon KancsoVery poor experience. I had registered at a different location, got there and was told uhaul was transferring me to another. I had been confirm for a a 15' truck, but was told uhaul had down graded me to a 10'. LUCKILY, a friend came through with their personal van so that I was able to deliver the wedding on time. I believe I will use a different company for the next event. ( The truck was clean but reeked of cigarettes). I have no issue with Nelson's, but I do have issues with U-Haul....
andrew grahamVery questionable area and I didn't request this as a pickup location. It was changed and was 30 min away from where I was supposed to pick up 2 days before I needed it. The mobile pickup was cumbersome and I had to wait on the street in a sketchy area for someone to verify me. That should have been done ahead of pickup.

DEIDRE SMITHI rented the truck online. I rented a 15' foot truck but I'm pretty sure my truck was only 10'. I rented a dolly as well. Well when I got the truck... There was no dolly and the gas tank was on"E". Worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul.

Nicole WintrubaHere is what my experience is with Nelson UHL: 1. Truck was not showing mileage since there were traction control error messages on. 2. The fuel guage was not consistent and at times it goes up and then it goes down. 3. The owner Mr. Dave Nelson was not courteous and professional in dealing 4. I returned the truck within an hour and I was charged USD53 after 2 business days when the temp authorization of USD 76 was placed on my credit card. 5. I believe, Nelsons have setup the trucks condition in a way to rip off customers by blaming them for faults that are already there in the truck and by manipulating the fuel guages of the trucks. I have serious doubts on their way of doing business. Must be inspected by U-Haul randomly. Regards Wasim

Samuel FolinoU-haul should continually monitor there add-on equipment, to ensure that the mover get everything they requested. Rather than showing up to pick the truck up and being told that they don't have the equipment. My move cost me extra mileage and money, because I had to find a place that would rent the equipment that I needed.

To understand what a customer means and wants, when they call the 800 number for U-Haul. I want to note, the dealer did everything he could to satisfy me. Donald StovesIt took me 2 hours to get into my truck; putting my moving schedule behind 2 hours. The incompetence of the person, when verifying the reservation (at Nelson Transmission) also created huge problems; he put the reservation a week ahead, instead of the day I needed it. I didn’t have the appliance dolly I needed. I didn’t have the moving pads I needed. The truck was dirty and had a horrible smell. It took me 3 phone class and 45 mins of waiting on hold, to speak to someone in customer service. I feel that I should be reimbursed for any and all mileage and discounted for the rental. This is THEE absolute worst experience I’ve EVER had with a moving truck. It was an absolute atrocity.
