No furniture pads available as ordered. No boxes available. Several other smaller trucks were sitting on the lot after uhaul call center told me none were available and I had confirmed a larger truck than needed.
Richard BRims where rotting with rust not even close safe had to keep checking them in case of failure. Trailer was all tore up and beat up wasn’t real confident in the trailer but hey it made it I guess
zackery aEmployee was very un professional they did not have the furniture pads or dolly that I reserved so I had to go buy them . Employee gave me the key and did not do a walk around to note any previous damages to the truck. I had to drive 45 min away from where I reserved the truck to pick up. No fuel in the truck. Horrible experience.

Luis CThe uhaul agent at ramco is a jerk. Impolite, acting like he was doing me a favor giving me the keys. My internet went out in their store.. They have no internet, no bathroom and no manners, because the page where it says go get the keys went blank he tried to refuse to give me the truck. Said he won't do business with me, my fault there was no internet in their store. So incredibly rude.. Nevermind I'm a 100% disabled veteran with scoliosis.. Made me walk extra cause he was being a jerk.. I waited 10 minutes for him to show up and the give me an attitude. Worst customer service ever.
Poul CThis is a gas station/convenience store. There was only one employee present who had to try to take care of gas, store and UHaul customers all at the same time. Location has plenty of room for parking and pick up/drop off of trailers.
James BYOUR UHAUL STAFF IS THE WORST EVER! FOR BOTH MONTHS IN JUNE AND JULY THE STAFF SCREWED UP ON THE TRUCK I NEED TO TOW A 28FT TRAVEL TRAILER. YOUR STAFF NEEDS TO BE BETTER TRAINED AND ALSO KNOW WHAT QUESTIONS TO ASK WHEN RENTING A VECHICLE!

Dale GThe personnel at this location attempted to take my personal light cables after disconnecting the U-Haul trailer. They threatened to charge me for not giving them the light cables, despite it being my personal property. They also tried to take my security blankets. I do not recommend this place whatsoever; the personnel were very unprofessional.

Megan RThe mobile app was problematic. it would not let me use the camera in my phone to take the required pix. Also, I had to input the year first and THEN the dd/mm to get it to accept my DOB and CDL Exp date. counter intuitive. Had to get assistance at check out and check in.

Rich CThe drop off location should be removed. I spent over 30 mins waiting for the lady to process my return. She couldn’t find my reservation the first 10 mins I was there even after presenting her my contract. Her Internet was so slow that she couldn’t check me out with her old laptop or phone. Another person had to go to a computer in the back office to process the return. Painfully inept and waste of my time. I won’t use that location ever again.
David MWebsite allows a 7am pickup but store clerk claims it doesn't open until 8am, however he still processed the reservation. It took far longer than it should have for a mobile pickup as there is no cell reception at this location and he had to continuously leave his computer to cash out the convenience store and gas station customers. These problems ended up costing me an hour of travel time.

Arthur CI don't fault the person checking in the truck, but when I picked up the truck from Clairemont the Gas tank was not full. I previously took a picture of the needle, filled it back up to where my pictured showed and I was still charged an extra fee for gas. The person showed me the digital screen where he thought the needle should be, but it doesn't allow for slight variations between marks on the gas gauge, so it isn't the best solution when trying to check-in a customer.

Juan CStart by not advertising $25 and then charging all these other BS secret charges and then trying to charge $32 for gas when I only drove 7 miles and not being able to take care of me very unhappy probably never get a U-Haul again.

RYAN VThe back had some dirt in it and needed swept out. The rear inside tire on the passenger side had very low tread and was bald on the outside edges.
Douglas KPoor customer service. The guy that was supposed to help me was on a phone call on his cell phone for 10 minutes while I waited after arrival. Even as he was walking me out to the trailer and my truck he took another call on his cell and made me wait. The trailer had what looked like a bird nest lodged in the trailer gate. Dropping off, I waited inside with him for 5 minutes and he basically acted like I wasn't there. I had to disconnect the trailer myself and he never came outside, at all.

ROBERT EBeing briefed on the vehicle. Able to answer basic questions about the vehicle. I asked how many mpg it got, I was given a guess - 5/mpg. The tank was 3/4 full, based on that answer, and not knowing how many gallons the tank held & to ensure we made it to our destination (66miles away) , I filled the tank. Nearly $90. We got to the destination, barely used any gas. It was a hair below the full line. I called to inquire about a discount or credit for that issue - since I'm getting 2 more uhauls over the next 2 months. Was told "sorry" that is incredibly poor customer service. Let alone when I placed my reservations, I asked for the 1st & 2nd to be 15 footers, then the 3rd would be a 26ft..got here, no 15 ft. Only 26 ft. Had to pay that price instead of the 140+ taxes /fees I was given when i made the reservation. So if you're looking to rip people off with not giving the correct informative details, yall get an A+.
ASHLEE JMake the process more obvious. When I pulled up there were no signs telling me where to go pay for it and when I came to drop off it took over 20 mins for them to tell me where to put the trailer which they made me back up which is not an issue with me because I have done it many times, but my girlfriend was going to be the one returning it and she has no capability to back up a trailer in between two vehicles.

ALEXANDER GThe lady at the desk wasn’t wearing a mask and had no idea what she was doing it took me 45 minutes To get the key for u-haul and I was the only one there The truck was full of dog hair but I clean the inside my self and when I drop it off the same lady didn’t know how to do the complete some paperwork to drop off paperwork so I waited another 40 minutes

Jacques BStarted off stressful as the computer wasn’t functioning for the first 45 minutes of waiting for my transaction to be finalized. Regardless of the stressful situation, Drew stayed very calm and was so helpful and made things right at the end of the day. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this location as it is 35 miles away from my home. I would highly suggest that Uhaul has more trucks available in central locations that can drive out of state. It was a bit of an inconvenience having to drive almost an hour to pickup the truck.
DAVID JThe truck was dirty inside and out. Mud and what looked like spit all along the upper compartment by the windows and grill. Was also 30 miles out of my way. We were promised extra miles for going that far and was a nightmare to get anyone to honor it.
Stephanie DI did reservation 1 month before the date and that day they don't have ready the truck at the place in set up to pick up! So I had to drive 200 miles to the nearby place to pick up the truck 😡
luis cThe problem was not so much with the location, although the back of the truck was dirty. The problem was that I reserved a 20' truck for this location at least a week before our move, and only a 10' truck was available. Nobody contacted me to tell me that my truck of choice was not available - instead, I received multiple confirmations of my reservation. In speaking with friends, they have had similar experiences. I will never use U-Haul again. It is very stressful to find out only when picking up the truck that the one you ordered is not available - especially when you have people coming to help an hour later. Moving is stressful enough, without dealing with problems like this. I don't understand how U-Haul can get away with these sorts of fraudulent business practices.
David GOur Uhaul smelled STRONGLY of weed when we picked it up. Otherwise it was fine.
