Jason LThe ram van looked like it was at full fuel when I rented it. After traveling 75 mi total, it took 8 gallons to fill it. Either extremely poor fuel economy or really wasn't full when I rented it.

CLYDE MThe van they gave me was filthy, full of trash, and the drivers side sun visor was broken off. It smelled like an ashtray and there was food on the seats. Disgusting. Also, i reserved a bag of 12 blankets and they only had 6. Also not happy with the price. I spent $100 of my hard earned money for a filthy disgusting broken cargo van. Will never rent from uhaul again.

LEE BWe have rented from this location numerous times. The girls are wonderful. The U-Haul have always been on point…. Except this last van was full of roaches and the passenger seat was broken in the recline position. The roaches on my furniture was disturbing. Ugh
Eva LBooked my truck a week in advance and when I got to the location they told me I have to pickup my truck from another location. I never received notice of a location change so had to catch another Uber to the other location. At the other location they had no blankets or a dolly. I had to use an appliance dolly which was not ideal for what I needed it for. So I would say U-Haul is a necessary Evil. I think it’s known and is built into your business model since everything including your app is half cooked.

Steven BRe: Confirmation Number 15134241 - Confusing and Frustrating Truck Pickup I recently rented a truck from you to help our daughter move. To say the least, the pickup process was a very bad experience. Here is the chronology of what happened when picking up my truck rental on 9-24-23’ Sept 20 - Book order online for a truck to be picked up on Sept 24 at Value Store It in Jupiter FL. Sept 24 - Arrived at Value Store It late at 9am for a scheduled 8am pickup. Since it was a Sunday and the site would not open until 10am, I tried signing in via your text message. Upon putting in my phone number, your system showed that my reservation was not at this location but rather had moved to Mr. Vacuum also in Jupiter FL. I called customer service and they told me that in fact the order had been transferred to this other location. Your customer service rep claimed that the day before on Saturday, they had made numerous attempts to contact me via phone, email and text. This is totally false. I was not contacted by anyone from your office. I had no choice but to go to this new location. Upon arriving at the Mr. Vacuum location I attempted to access my truck through your text instructions. I was unsuccessful because, once again after calling customer service, they explained that the pickup time on the order was 6am! According to them, I was too late and would not be able to sign in because I was 10 minutes(?) outside the permissible window. Note: Shouldn’t your customer service rep advised me of this the first time I called? Note: If true that your customer service moved my order to this new location, why would they change the pick up time to two hours earlier than my original order? It was now 9:30am and customer service advised me to wait for the Mr. Vacuum store to open at 10am and pick up the truck through a live person rather than your text system. Except…Mr. Vacuum does not have Sunday hours which is clearly stated on their front door. Note: Shouldn’t your customer service rep know the hours of operation of your rental locations? At this point, I knew the Mr. Vacuum option was a waste of time and I returned to the Value Store It location. At 10am they opened, I explained the situation and the Value Store It employee took my order info. Lo and behold, the order was on her system as originally book. I finally got my rental at 10am. What really happened to my order that I booked through your online system? Why is your customer service claiming they contacted me the day before with new pickup information? And why, miracles of miracles, upon my returning to Value Store It, why was the order correctly in the system as originally booked? The minimum you should do is compensate me for the wasted time I spent running around Jupiter trying to rent a truck. It was very frustrating and delayed our move for at least two hours.
David AWhen I arrived. The lady who I made the reservation with said she couldn't find my reservation even though I got multiple emails confirming it. There was a truck available, but it was odd, that she said I can't find your reservation. A truck was available, so it want a big deal, but there a few what ifs, when it comes to future reservations
Robert SBed of pickup was dirty with water bottles left in it. I had to have air added to rear tires since they were low and I noticed warning light. I only used the pickup for 1/2 day but charges seemed to reflect a full day. Please verify, since the staff is very kind.
joy eI reserved the U-Haul for 8:00 a.m. and hired two guys at $30 an hour each. I went to the location and it was not open till 9:00 a.m.. I had called the day before to confirm the 8:00 a.m. pickup and they said it would be no problem. So I had to pay $60 to have two guys stand around and do nothing until the location opened up.

maria VThey location did not have furniture Dolly's, which I ordered at time of booking weeks ago. It would have made the move much, much, easier. We were told at pick up that we could buy them at Home Depot but that wasn't helpful for us. Otherwise excellent.
Raymond JLike most rental places, a new renter should have a full tank of gas. The last thing I wanted to do was it go to a gas station and have to fill up the thing I just rented. If this location is under staffed, there should be something in the contract that you must bring it back with a full tank or be subject to like a $8 per gallon fill up charge. That should compensate the employees time to go fill up the gas tank at the same time might deter people from bringing it back not full.
