4 tires on back bald with no tread! One way rental going 250 miles in rain was not good with the condition of truck. No requested equipment in truck. Location was closed all day on working day. No way to contact

The owner is very friendly. I’ve gotten trailers there 3 times recently moving our college-age students in and out of apartments, and it has been an easy process.

It was difficult to drop off a trailer on an uneven surface with no blocks or help. Didn’t necessarily need the help but the blocking or even surface assistance would have been helpful. Owner seemed to be a very likable person on the phone.

The truck that Bob had was clean and worked well for the job I had to do but, the vehicle itself was in rough shape and the engine started extremely hard as it was on the verge of needing mechanical repair. A couple of times I was worried that it would not even start at all. This was NOT the fault of the rental place but the fact that Uhaul is not properly maintaining their fleet...this truck is way beyond the point of retirement!

I made a reservation online and found out the actual hours of the business did not match those posted on the U-Haul website, so I had to wait an hour for someone to show up. Phone number on the door to "call anytime" went to voicemail. The guy that showed up was very helpful and apologetic and did get me out the door quickly.

Not cancel my truck. I had a horrible experience on the day of my move, inconveniencing me and making for a lot of stress. My original booking was cancelled and I already had people paid to come assist. It cost me alot of time and money to change from Chapin to newberry, but the stress was immeasurable. I had to jump through hoops to make this happen and knowing that my original location had a truck and rented it out the morning of the 19th, that is unacceptable to me.

It was terrible. I was there on time to return the trailer but the person in the store would not unlock the door so I had to return it through the app. By the time I set up the app and took pictures and did all the app requested. I was charged $33 more dollars. This is unexpectedly I will not be using uhaul in the future if this is how you do Business. I returned the trailer within the 24 hour window and then get hit with a hidden fee. I hope this helps you improve. I expect to be refunded the $33 dollars. Thank you Richard Black

Rude old man got my name wrong after me telling him it 3 times. Had me unhook trailer. Had an attitude because I didn’t put it in a place he wanted. Then I had to insist he read me the Order # because he was so confused on how to work a computer. Completely incompetent and rude. Will never use again.

This location signified it was ready for 24/7 pickup, but when we arrived, the U-Haul app stated I needed an in person pickup when the location was open which was 11am the next day. That was not going to work. I sat on the phone with U-Haul for over 40 minutes Trying to get the keys to begin my rental without traveling to another location, extremely far away. We already were late to my pickup and then loading after dark. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul.

Sign on door said open at 8 am drop off time was at 10 am and nobody was there. Drop off over the phone was cool but I have trust issues so it was nerve racking.

Bob is great.. He truly went above and beyond to make my experience picking up as well as dropping off my truck.. He stayed in contact he phoned me on the day the truck was supposed to be delivered and I was running just a teeny tad bit late but Bob was great the whole experience was absolutely excellent... I would most definitely recommend Bob at this location in Newberry South Carolina this was the most pleasant U-Haul experience I have ever had-bar none- thank you Bob you are absolutely great.

I reserved a specific sized truck five days in advance. The day before pick-up, I called the location to verify only to be informed by the U-Haul associate, "Oh, I was going to call you. We don't have the truck you reserved." After some frank discussion, the associate indicated that the closest truck was located 1 hour away. I had no choice but to get my wife to drive me to pick it up. Very disappointed in the process! RENTER BEWARE!!

Only complaint I have is that the online checkout process was difficult. The website crashed on me twice while I was attempting to checkout at the drop-off site. I had to complete it after I got home, which meant that I was unable to take the requested pictures, since I was no longer at the truck. I returned the truck with more fuel in it than it had when I picked it up, and it was at least AS clean as it was at pickup, if not cleaner. My checkout still went through without the pictures, but I was concerned that there would be an issue and I would be charged the $20 "convenience" fee if it didn't. Otherwise, it was a smooth and easy experience. I would definitely rent from this location again, if needed.

I was told the truck had 1/4 tank has inbit when I rented it but it was less then 1/4 tank of has in it. I returned it on 1/2 tank and nothing was refunded to me. My reservation was for 12:00 Noon and the store did not open until 1:45, I had to wait almost two hours before anyone showed up to open the store. This was not a good experience for me with UHAUL.

Have the equipment that was reserved and properly clean the equipment before renting it out. Also don't lie about the fuel level . My rental truck was on empty when the salesman said it was a quarter of a tank. Plus the truck was not cleaned prior to being rented to me.

Location did not expect me as original pickup location was changed without notice. Truck was not cleaned after last use, gas was 1/4 full. Representative was helping a customer with picture framing needs so pickup took 45 minutes to complete.
