lenka zThe starter needed to be replaced on the van we rented and to have this happen when finalizing a home sale made it a difficult day. I believe Dave was the contract person to help us and he was very responsive. I felt badly in that i lost cell coverage when he attempted to call me back, remote area. Getting the starter replaced within 5 hours was well done but losing those 5 hours complicated closing the deal and we lost a few days of interest on the sale money as a result so a mixed bag.

PHILIPPE CClearly I can see that no one is taking care of the road condition of this trailer, the U-Haul representative did not check the trailer and barely noticed that told him that the trailer had problems with the side markers.
Sebastien MHad a very pathetic experience. Odometer reading was different from what was on the system. At checkout, odometer was 125883 in the system but the actual reading was 125917. They charged me 34 km extra. People at this centre are scamming customers with wrong odometer readings. Action needs to be taken on this centre. Never expected this kind of service. Feeling cheated.
RAKESH AThe U-Haul I had taken the mirrors were dirty so I couldn’t see out of them, that was the only down fall of taking that uhaul but definitely overall all easy experience

Rory BInside of uhaul truck in driver cabin was dirty. The back shutter door was frozen shut... store owner (or operator) and I applied lot of pressure by hand in vain - finally, hot water did the trick. I really liked the demeanor and helpful nature of Ibrahim and would highly recommend renting from this location
Amit BWe took the truck for 2 hours and they charged me for 3 hours. Why to pay more for 1hour more which doesn't accure actually and charged for gas about 10$ we already put gas for it. They are not clear with sayings. I booked my time to get the truck was 6:30 pm and received the car at 7:05 pm.
Jinal VThey need to improve the accuracy of their billing. I was charged for a two day rental because the rental and return times were wrong. I should only have been charged for a single day. Furthermore, although I had reserved blankets, they had none, but strangely they charged me $2 for rental of non-existent blankets.

Gary CThe location phone number should be reinstated (currently not in service) There should be clear UHAUL signage since the business is primarily Ottawa Halal Market and it's not obvious when you arrive that it's for UHAUL also. The attendant at the desk wasn't familiar with the equipment we picked up and therefore unable to answer our questions Upon drop-off, the location was not ready for us and after we disconnected the equipment, we were asked to reconnect and move it. The equipment had been returned at this point so the move should have been handled by the location and not the customer.
ANgela iThis is a small table in a convenience store off to the side tucked behind a food station and a pop cooler. There was no signage outside. No signage inside I had to ask. I only know it was U-Haul because of the trucks parked here. It is what it is. My issue was not with the the location The registration took very long, the person needed to call someone else to help through the process. He did not put the information in correctly because I was called by U-Haul to return my equipment before the time I was to return it. I rented this for 24 hours. I was asked three times what time I would return it . I said same time tomorrow - 24 hours. 3 times. But this was obviously not correct in the system because U-Haul called me with an incorrect return time. Which was extremely frustrating. On top of all of this hassle I was not asked if I agreed to insurance - but was charged for it . I was not asked to sign anything. I was charged for 2 days - not one. I’ve tried to call U-Haul but their lines are always busy. I assume to make you just go away with your complaints. Who has time to wait more than 20 minutes to speak to someone ? I would not recommend this hassle.
KERRY CLights were not working properly, they kept going out and the worker at the location I went to was very rude and unhelpful.

Robert JSubject: Urgent Rental Equipment Issue Dear [Store Manager's Name or U-Haul Customer Service], I wanted to bring to your attention a concerning issue I encountered during my recent rental experience at your store located at Ottawa Halal Market-Ottawa, ON. Upon opening the rented truck at my home, I discovered that the rental equipment I had reserved and paid for, specifically the furniture dolly and furniture pads, were not included. This oversight had a severe impact on my moving process, causing both injuries in my knee and significant delays. Additionally, I noticed an unexpected charge of $44.83 on my credit card, which I did not authorize or receive an explanation for. I didn't receive the full refund for the rental equipment that was not delivered to me. Very poor customer service, and I even opened a claim on Uhaul it has been past a week and no solution so far. Completely disappointed, with both the Store and the U-Haul.

Mujahed MDrove 7km was charged for 6L gasoline. Almost one liter per Km... doesn't make sense. U-HAUL should start using more efficient trucks..
