Signed up for truck with electronic pickup/delivery since vendor would be closed when I needed it. Got the electronic pickup instructions and a "ready to check in" message. All was well until I got to pickup and the message said it was a hand pickup and I'd need to wait until the next day when store was open. Carefully planned work day was about to be ruined. Service rep found a truck 15 miles away and I went there. Got farther into electronic pickup, but the message with the pickup code was blank didn't tell me which box to enter a code into and the code field was blank. After waiting 20 mins on phone, rep gave me code over the phone. Had to drive 30 miles farther (on my dime) and hours late. Super frustrating. Absolutely do not recommend electronic pickup if time matters to you.

The local person was to busy to help when I had a reservation. I didn't know how to use the app or share that's why the reservation. I ended up with the wrong truck or something like that then some miss communication on how long and then the uhaul storage in one place and the drop off on the other side off town. It that's not just a scam for more miles I don't know what is? When I got to the storage and realized it was a Uhaul ran storage that I could drop the truck at and asked the store they said they couldn't do it with out charging me, I needed to call back the 1800 number what, 🙃 😑 😪.. Do you see why I am not happy it doesn't get better.

The pick up truck I reserved was double booked. They gave me a 15' enclosed truck to use since the pick up was not available.

You gave me different places to pick up truck and tow dolly, and I have to drive extra 30 miles for them. And the nylon strip on the right side was stuck in the ratch spool and I can't get it loose.

My reservation was for a truck and moving blankets to be picked up at 1 pm on a Friday. U-Haul called me and changed the pickup location because, as I found out later, my truck was rented to another customer. This is not the first time I have experienced U-Hauls first come first serve policy regardless of reservations. The new location had no moving blankets, did not inspect the truck, and called me while I was driving from the airport to the location to check me and tell me where I could pick up a key. Everything was done via phone and text and then I was checked in as having taken the truck before I ever arrived. There was no registration information in the truck or any copy of my rental agreement. Fortunately, I was not stopped by police during the drive to Massachusetts

The representative wasn't even there when I had the reservation to pick up the truck. Once she showed up after I called her and we went threw the check in process she left. She never went over the truck with me never looked over the truck. The milage wasn't correct and I ended up paying for it even though I told her it was rong. I will never use this location again. She was more concerned about what she had going on instead of the customer and I only need 30 min of her time.
