I set myself up on the app a week and a half before needing the truck. We showed up at 8:00, and it took an hour to get through the steps to get the truck. I had no idea that there would be no one on site to help with problems. They could have verified my emergency contact prior to the time that I needed the truck. Or warned me that I would need my passport. The server kept going down, and I had to start over many times. I was so angry after 45 minutes that I contacted Uhaul for assistance, and had to wait 20 minutes for a call back. When we returned the truck, I loaded the photos, and they kept disappearing. I kept retaking them. When I was done, there were no photos, and I finally gave up, and dropped the key in the box. Before we picked up our truck, we were told by friends that we should have gone with Penske. We should have cancelled, and taken their advice. We lost an hour of prep time before our movers arrived, and that made for a terrible start. MY ENTIRE FAMILY WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN UNLESS WE ARE CERTAIN THAT THERE WILL BE SOMEONE ON THE OTHER END TO DO THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT!!!

Steven O1. Tried to call in the morning for information, there was no answer and the "voicemail is invalid" 2. When I looked up the UHaul, the location on Google Maps and it sent me to the other side of town. 3. When returning the truck, the key was to be left in Box 2. "Dial this word code on the lock to open ......." The problem was the lock was about 4 inches ABOVE MY HEAD and the lock would not swing down to see the letters. Also the lock is some new fandangled thing I've never seen and we couldn't get it to open, even after my taller son entered the code properly. I ended up having to drop the key in the slot! (Thank goodness it wasn't BOX 1, it was even higher! I am VERY grateful to have a UHaul dealer in town. Please fix these little things :)
Crystal tThe dolly was not with the truck, the website/app was unresponsive and set me back 45 mins.
Tim BThere was no Utility Dolly loaded on the truck. I had to call customer service and they sent me to the next town to pick one up. I had a24 hour rental and couldn't start loading until the next morning.

Mauricio LI was way over charged! had the truck for 3 hours and returned to same place that I picked up, drove is 30.8 miles replaced the fuel that we used although it was not filled up when we picked it up. But put $30.00 in before returning. I did order the Safe Move insurance for 45.00 and was charged 244.28 my contract number is 10108634 rental date was 08-13-23 Need to get a credit.
Viki DPlease make sure the proper equipment is available at the rental site. Also, please don't allow customers to sign-up for pick up times when the location is unable to service them at that time.
