We never got the location change aND ended up going to the wrong location and having a 1.5 hour delay so our move happened at the hottest part of the day in August in Texas.

The Cleburne location was the 3rd site visited in order to obtain a trailer. My first scheduled pick-up site was in Hillsboro, TX, only a few miles from my destination in West, TX. I received a call on Friday afternoon from the U-Haul location in Rio Vista, TX, confirming my reservation. I questioned why I was not picking up in Hillsboro and was told they had received my reservation notice and weren't sure why it had moved. When I arrived at Rio Vista at 12:00 noon, the trailer had not been returned to their site by the previous client. They were very helpful and located another trailer in Cleburne and also requested a $50 discount for my trouble. I drove to Cleburne and successfully received a trailer. While in the Cleburne office, the manager contacted U-Haul to receive instruction on how to input my discount. We were on speaker phone with Brandon in the Houston regional office. I spoke to Brandon, so he knew the client was listening. At no time did Brandon offer an apology, an explanation, or any form of customer service to ensure my satisfaction. I would suggest that Brandon receive training in customer relations and be bumped back to hooking up trailers. He has no skills in customer service! I will seriously consider other carriers the next time I need to move anything.
