Understaffed location with slow service. Very little indication that the staff cared about customers or getting customers what they needed on time. One positive for this location is the selection of trucks. Not likely to use them again.
Another person working would have been good. One guy by himself could be much, while there's check-ins and check-outs going on (a propane customer thrown in the mix upon returning).
Line was a bit long this morning, but truck was clean and service was friendly. Great price, well worth it.
Young lady at the front desk did not open at 7AM. additionally, she seemed confused as to the pre-paid method and how to handle it without an attitude.
I ended up calling her to explain the situation, and she wanted to charge me a second time.
Only one person working it's took long time . I was in hurry .
It seems to me Uhaul trains it's employees to be somewhat deceptive from providing a solid estimate with a very clear delineation of cost. This is unfortunate for encouraging repeat business. Nevertheless, the young man who helped me at this location was very helpful and straight with me.
Drop off was fast and the man there was friendly and helpful and go me ready to go quickly after a long day of moving. I appreciated the service.
The truck that we had needs some repairs. The seal on both doors is bad and whistles, the shocks are horrid, and the truck actually lost power twice while we were driving. We also had to drive a hour away (and then a hour back) to pick up the truck which set us behind on packing and the extra mileage was apparently not countend into our alloted miles.
The attendant was knowlegible. We needed the trailer for extra days. He had no issue updating the computer to meet our needs. Drop off was quick and easy.
The price Uhaul charges per mile is considerable higher than other truck rentals. To exspensive

The young man who rented me the trailer Sunday 11/8/15 was efficient and quick. I'll use this location again.
OMG I was called at least 6 times from someone either at the location or dispatch office wanting the truck either early or on time. They said they had no other trucks of that size and that they had the truck I had reserved and they needed it back. I told them the first time they called that I was going to have the truck for at least 1 or 2 days longer. They were very rude and continued to call me asking for the truck. WTF if I have it rented and I informed the company when I picked the truck up that I was going to have the truck longer, then they should have knew this and or stopped calling me asking for the truck. At this point I may have to rent from Budget or someone else before using U-Haul again. Between having a truck with more miles than I have to a trailer that had a poor tire causing a blow out it wasn't a very good move with U-Haul. I personally think a refund of some sort or at the least an apology from corporate level supervisor. I'm very unhappy with the entire equipment and certainly the local staff calling me so many times asking for the truck. I told them time and time that I would have it longer. I felt I had to hire moving helpers via U-Haul to help unload the truck so I could get it back in time for their next renter. I was charged almost $100 for having the truck an extra 13 hours. I was told $40 for the truck and $20 for the trailer each additional 24 hours. It has been very BAD experience for us.
I picked up the U-Haul at the nearest location (which is less than a mile from my place) drove straight to my place, loaded, straight to my new place (200 miles away), unloaded, and returned it to the closest location (approximately 5 miles away) and I was about 2 or 3 miles over. I think U-Haul should a few miles for deviation in case there are accidents or traffic.
Very fast when I returned the truck. I didn't even wait 5 minutes.
Improve customer service, provide information to afternoon clerks about promises made by staff on the morning shift.
It was late and he was closing up. But made time to help me out and was in a great mode. ( Great Kid)
My last minute reservation was accommodated with ease and friendly service. Awesome!

I use U-Haul up to a couple times per month,usually close to the job site However, I will go out of my way to use this facility. Friendly, and they know their stuff! Return is quick and easy too.
Whenever I need this type of service - this will be the place! Every staff individual on duty within the store was respectful, eager to make no one wait for service - also very impressed how they worked as a team - assisting when it meant service would be improved for the customer- thank you for such a pleasant experience during a very stressful day!
Since the fuel difference wasn't reported to the drop off location, I was charge $49. When I called the store I was told that I needed to take time from my day to show him that the fuel was different. That is not my job to make sure that the workers get there job right and now I have a 5 day wait for my money that was charged wrongfully to be returned to my account. That coupled with the fact that your employee didn't even try to take the time to fix the issue himself with the pick up location is obsurd. Like everybody else in a working world, my time is valuable. He has a job and I shouldn't have to do it for him.
I had to drive around to find a moving truck and I had one schedule but it was gone. They call me and told me they no longer had my reservation available. I had to get a smaller truck to move. It took a very long time to schedule and wasted precious moving time. The service was below my expectations.
The helper was very nice he should get a raise. Would love to use him again.

Uhaul rep even printed directions for me. My phone was giving my problems. I could not get my mapquest to work. Excellent customer service.

im so happy with the service on this location all the worker do a great job answer all you questions I return a cargo van this morning and I get a pick up truck I just call at 7:05 am I get there at 7:16 they have everything ready when I get there I'm only slide my credit card sign the contract take me less on my 5 min to return the van and rent the regular pick up thank you I recomend this location

Staff were fast and friendly. Took care of customers in a timely fashion. Ordered by phone a week early and U-Haul staff called and confirmed the day before rental and made sure proper unit ordered. Have used U-Haul in the past and they have always been very reliable and their products excellent for their intended uses
My rental trucks sliding back door became stuck and lodged in the roof and I could not close it once it was loaded to move my belongings I had to shove plywood in the end of the truck to keep my things from falling out while I drove it to storage. So the second load I backed the truck up against my home to prevent my things from being stolen overnight. Even if I was able to close the sliding door,the pad lock attached to the truck was jammed and didn't work. If for some reason I needed to park and leave the truck I wouldn't have been able to because I could not secure my belongings. Had the employee who gave me the rental, opened the sliding door to show me the inside of the truck would have realized that the truck did not qualified to rent out. Let alone in proper working order. They still charged me full regular price for everything.
Book me closer to where I live I reserved online in Davis Ca. They booked my truck in South Sacramento. I used 77 miles on truck and was billed. 107.00. Felt like I was Ripped Off.
Easy, fast pickup and drop off.
They confirmed a 26 ft. Truck and when we showed up on the day of the move they gave us a 17 ft truck. We had to do 2 trips instead of 1 and they still charged us for all the miles and we paid double gas. Corporate was also no help and basically called us liars by telling us they had told us about the 17 ft truck. Will be submitting a claim and have no hopes of being compensated. They lost a customer next time we will go elsewhere

Facility looked a bit run down, but personnel were very friendly and customer oriented.
The process itself was pretty confusing.
The reservation I had - was not actually a reservation because the requested 20' truck was not available and the alternate 17' truck was not back from the previous user. I called the 888 and number the week before my move and the guy who answered was completely rude and incompetent. he should not have any job where he has to answer the phone or deal with the public. I wish I had his first and last name to report to you. After having to cancel a reservation because of him and then not having the truck I "reserved" - the overall service was poor and disappointing.
I rent a trailer on a weekly basis from this place and the staff is a excellent group of people this is a all around perfect facility would recommend anyone there for any of you u-haul needs sincerely a satisfied customer
Seemed like the representative was indifferent and did not want to be there. Maybe she should find a job she enjoys.
I didn't fully understand the process until shortly before the move date. I could have been better informed by the agents over the phone.

The Stockton Blvd. location was fine, it was the point of origin in Texas that was the problem. Honestly, for the money it is just too small, too.
The measurements of the boxes online are misleading. These measurements are for the outside not the inside. Also include the 2x2 frame work inside as that will impede that packing process.
Second u-box furniture pads were partially wet, we just spread them in the sun and they were fine, staff were very helpful and courteous.
The boxes were shipped almost a week late. I paid as much as a moving company. Then I had to wait for the manager to deal with 3 customers who came in AFTER I did.
Customer service was very good.
