Rented a 6 x 12 trailer. Pulled up to return area, waited a few minutes, someone finally came out and "Just drop the trailer there and you can go". I'm 65 those trailer tongues are heavy! plus I don't do this everyday - young man never offered to help.
James WWe had originally scheduled a vehicle to be picked up at a more convenient location closer to where we needed to take it to be loaded. The guy checking us in generously added miles to our quoted commitment. The truck was ready to go but we had difficulty finding the truck at the location (of course the last one we found). We had to buy gas right away as it was almost empty
Gail WYour mobile app and after hours pick up were a complete and total disaster. The worst experience I've ever had trying to rent anything anywhere. I am STILL waiting for my refund. I was unable to procure the truck I had rented after about a solid hour of trying, and through NO FAULT OF MY OWN.

Gerald FWe quite literally had to loop in local law enforcement after the interaction we had with one of your employees. This was the worst customer experience both my partner and I have ever had. Please, for the sake of your business but more importantly your customers, keep your employees in check. We will never be using this location or U-Haul services again.

JANE QI was given a trick with less than 1/8 tank of gas and told to put gas in it and if I brought it back at 1/4 of a tank I would get a $7.50 credit! What a scam. I was then given a truck with full gas tank after complaining. The last thing I want to do is drive a truck off the lot to find a gas station. And the storage facility was filthy.
Susan CThe straps on car trailer straps we rented did not work so we were unable to transport the car we intended to. We got the trailer rent refunded, but still had to pay for the truck rental to pull it and gas. Not at all a satisfactory experience. We spent $100 for the truck and $43 for gas and had a thoroughly frustrating experience.
Steven GI reserved a dolly, but I cannot use this. The staff did not explain reason. Also, truck was very dirty. Nobody clean inside of truck. I can’t recommend this location for other person.

Anand SPickup was so fast and easy. 8am on a Saturday but there were no other customers and I received great service.

However, it was not washed (looked like the previous customer went 4-wheeling in it--all muddy) and the tires were low on air (I had to add air myself). I do appreciate U-Haul's simple and fast service; renting from you is always easy and quick. And usually the equipment is clean and well-maintained. But sometimes oversights happen. I can understand that. Thanks for all you do!

Shane SThere were several uhaul franchises in my neighborhood but I had to take the trailer to one downtown. The other locations would not let me drop it off. That's ridiculous and I will never use uhaul again
John GReplace the guy working at the 602 W Washington Ave location. He said he was the manager but I'm not sure. He was rude and not helpful, and messed up our order. Also, allow employees to view and make changes to reservations, and provide more operating hours for shipping services. Lastly, manage the customer dashboard in a way that displays correct and up to date information - that way, our boxes don't get shipped early (causing damage to our goods and requiring Uhaul to give us a Ubox for free). One last thing, if you're going to offer a free Ubox for shipping our Uboxes early, don't make me pay for the delivery of it.

Philip CLocation was overwhelmed and not inviting nor equipped to handle influx. Guy kept telling me I couldn’t leave my trailer there even though they took trailers, said better if I take it elsewhere ir could get fined $300-400. Like a threat or something. I understand their lot was overflowing with returns but not my problem.
RJ LPaul (in Madison) was wonderful!!! The trailer I rented was very old, with many rusted parts…and did not have functioning trailer brakes. It should be overhauled completely or removed from service. Please don’t rent this to other customers for $900, just to transport their vehicle 2000 miles.

Actually cancelled my reservation and luckily the nice employee understood and refunded me (still awaiting receipt). Wasn’t desperate enough to use that dump and probably would have resulted in trashing all my things.

They were consistently helpful and thoughtful, as well as thoroughly professional. They were happy to give advice when I asked and made the process go smoothly. I had a storage unit as well as a van and the storage unit was accessible 24/7 which made it so much easier to work after the heat of the day had subsided. The van was clean and convenient and ready immediately. Thank you, UHaul!

Most of their units are in the "basement" with concrete floors, mouse traps in the units, mold/water damage on the back wall of the unit, all in metal caged fences. When I walked in, the staff were rude to the customer in front of me. Told him "they only thing you can do is 800 Uhaul". I went up next, and was told my unit wasn't ready at 10am. Came back in 2 hours, still wasn't ready. Came back in 1 hour and finally was given my unit. The lady was friendlier by then. Another woman was on the phone with someone she knew and eating chips while customers were waiting. One workers' young daughter was in with a "sitter" hanging around. Then I saw this worker go out the front door and use her dab pen. My suggestion is a rental unit should be booked until the end of the month at 12am! Then the next reservation for the month starts on the 1st when they open! This place needs a little restructuring!

It would be great if it was electric instead, but mainly every time I went there it was NOT working at all.. Especially people tend to move bulky heavy things so an electric one would be a necessity in my opinion.
