We had to call other U-Haul locations to finally receive a truck, at 2:00 p.m., our reservation was for 9:30 a.m!
I reserved a rental for one day, I got a text stating tha the truck was due back on 12-2(reserved only for 11-30) . So, I'm under the impression that Sunday was free of charged. So when I took the truck back Monday , and I must say it was about two hours late, I has to pay for three days. I thought they would have at least prorated the charges. So, the text messages need to be clear as to the number on days reserved in the system that the consumer will be paying for. I will continue to use the service, but now I'm aware
When I arrived to pick up the turck I reserved I was informed that I would get a smaller truck because the one I reserved was broken down. I understand they have no controll of that but they knew 6 hours before my pick-up time and NEVER tried to contact me so I could find the correct size for my move. The worker and general manager George Glenn was unapologetic and only offered to reduce my milage from .99 to .79. When I asked if I can have the truck at a lower rate he refused and offered nothing to help in this situation. he refused to call the president Tony Fretwell so I had to call him myself. Mr. Fretwell was polite and gave me a lover rate since the General Manager didn't see fit to have any customer service skills at all. I recommend that these people have customer service training and stop the snide attitudes. I recommend that Mr. Fretwell hire a NEW General Manager as i will NEVER use this company again and I will recommend this to my friends, family, co-workers! POOR SERVICE!.
My preferred choice when I need to rent a truck is the Gray Highway location. Helpful friendly staff.

I could not believe that the man told me that I was lucky I was there early before 5 o'clock because he told me that u Haul does not pay him to stay after........ I think that he would want somebody to stay 10 minutes maybe if his daddy needed a tow dolly from Macon to almost Atlanta...... his attitude sucked
Rented a 5x8 trailer to haul furniture to my daughter's apartment in ATL. Manager called when I was late for pickup due to a flat tire. No problem.
Fast check-in! Clerk double-checked wiring harness and hitch connection and verified light check (brakes, turn signals). Permitted next-day drop off since I returned home after closing time. Fast and courteous service.
Can't say enough about these guys. Outstanding service!
Maintenance of the truck. The truck jerked horrible; it felt as though the engine was going to fal out.
The only real problem was that I had reserved a 14' truck and when I went to pick it up, all they had was a 17' truck. I was charged for the 14' and not the 17', but the 17' burned more gas so bottom line it cost me more to drive the 17' vs the 14' truck.
Keep George and the staff you have.

Had a leak in the unit i rented and all my Furniture was Molded and water Damaged. it will have to be a unit that is Heated And cooled if i rent from them again.
The uhaul was in poor mechanical condition needed a tire very unsafe i will not rent from uhaul again

Employee working at around 4:00 PM on Wed 10/23 was very helpful and clearly explained everything about the rental to us. I felt very comfortable renting from this location because of his help. Thank you!

Location is a little tricky to access, but attitude of and service provided by personnel was excellent!
When I first contact the Uhaul center Iaround 9:30 i was advised that the unit would be ready at 11:45 then ...I received a call at 11:30 to advise me that the unit would not be ready until 4:45 pm..
The stay was very helpful and knowledgeable. I just accessories was cheaper

When we arrived to pick up our reserved uhaul truck it was not at the uhaul store or ready to be picked up. The sales associate that tried to locate our truck (he made 2 phone calls) was incredibly rude and we were told us that he could not do anything for us, "you need to step aside so I can help the next customer". We had to wait for a call to let us know when the truck arrived and when we went back to get our truck the second sales associate helped us and was extremely helpful and kind to us. But due to the original sales associate that was so rude I would not recommend this uhaul location to someone else.
Whenever you schedule drop offs and pick ups it should not be close to closing time of the business day
Rented a 6 x 12 trailer- two people banged their heads against top of door opening while unloading. I suggest installing a bumper pad on the inside of the trailer to soften the blow. Should be very cheap fix to prevent customer injury.
Friendly and helpful staff. It didn't take long to pick up or drop off.
The key to the truck did not unlock the doors had to call customer service. Was Locked out of truck and had to get truck unlocked. The hand cart and blankets zip tied to wall takes from use of space.
My house driveway was on an inclined, I couldnt drive the truck up it. We had to walk every piece of furniture from the drive way. Your trucks need to be higher to accommodate every move. I was really disappointed. It defeated the purpose of renting.

George has a great personality and is great at his job. All staff was nice and helpful. I wouldn`t change a thing.
Find a closer location to the customer
Fellow operating the location was very competent and helpful when I had a problem with my vehicle hooking up the flat bed trailer.
The location and team were great. However, U-Haul online should not confirm reservations for trucks that do not exist or can't be transferred. No truck existed for my initial reservation time, but one became available later in the afternoon. Had one not been available, I would have been ought several hundred dollars from reserved hired loading help and no truck to load into.

The truck was raggedy and ants were everywhere. Then on top that Gregory had the nerve to call me and ask me to return the truck at 12:00 pm instead of the original time which was 5:00 pm. I'm very dissatisfied with my experience with company after renting you all yearly
Nothing! Customer Service was excellent. I would tell everyone I know that is moving to go to Gray Highway location. The employees knew their job, were very helpful and polite.
The guys at the counter are really great! They are always on the ball and appropriately friendly.
The only bad part of the whole experience was the difficulty entering the roadway due to all the traffic. Everyone in the facility was very professional and nice. Very efficient operation.
The location was fine but I will never rent from U-haul again. The customer service number I called gave me the run around after having me on hold for almost 15mins, then I got hung up on. After calling back to speak to someone else I was informed that my reservation wasn't even made to pick up my truck and I had to call the regional office. After calling the regional office at 4pm which I was told someone was going to call me early that morning to confirm my reversation and pick-up location, I was informed that the size truck I asked to have reserved for me wasn't even available. I pretty much got the run around from U-haul, I think I will save myself a headache next time and try to rent from Budget instead.

A lien, charge an extra month link accounts that had NOTHING to do with me, MY UNIT WAS CLOSED THE MONTH PRIOR! Mgmt NEVER called back nor apologized. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS FACILITY AGAIN!
Unreal to believe it was. On 1/2 tank ,my son added 40$ yet after less than 120 miles you charged another 70 plus dollars. Saying that it was on 1/4 tank.

Couldn`t find my reservation 2day bc my name is mispelled on lease. I would prefer a 24hr access rm. Other then that very friendly staff grounds office well maintained

only complaint is that the hallways between storages are to small for storing large and long items such as sofas.
The guys at U-Haul on Gray Hwy in Macon, GA were quite helpful and friendly. I especially appreciate how they patiently worked around us as we unloaded, all day long, with a smile on their faces.
Space was small Staff would only open one door so you had to haul your items without a cart to the other side of the building.

Complete unprofessionalism.Very hard to get them to call me back.Lost gypsy moth form twice and did not communicate well with other center. Had to contact GM`s boss. Needs improvement.
My unit was broken into, and since no one offered the rental insurance, I`m out my property and any compensation. maintained and built.
My last experience was not so good.

It was ok, the people who worked there seemed to care.
Never experience having to pay for rental usage in full, if I vacate a unit a week or so into the month. I called ahead. Staff locked up the facility with my license, my kids I still in the unit.
My only complaint would be the cockroaches. I saw a few while moving stuff in and out and there were some stuck the bottom of my mirror.
Staff was very friendly and courteous. Also, they were the ones who told us about the free month of rental when you rent a truck.
I have done business with this U-Haul center several times in the past few years and have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. That was one reason I chose to go there yesterday.
All questions were answered. Each associate was polite to eachother.

One staff member wasn’t knowledgeable, and slowed the rental/return process. Another staff member was rude when I said I was clearing out my unit. He said “you better be able to do it in 10 minutes.”
I`ll definitely be using this storage facility again next summer.
Drove to Macon, u lie about ur accom. I resrvd a 14x8x8 storage unit. U only offered a 2 6x8x6 far cry from what i reserved. I took my biz elsewhere.
Staff gave us some difficulty when we were trying to get a ground floor unit vs. a second floor unit. Both were available
EXTREMELY poor service from Corey...I notice other customers have the same reaction when they see that Corey is there.His smart remarks and disrespectful comments are totally unacceptable.

The local stores have no customer service, and their headquarters do not make them responsible for the errors in their operations. Do not use theis company for any services.
The staff was not fiendly nor professional. Issues that arised were not handled properly and they were very unorganized.
