It was cold, rainy/snowy but the staff was unfazed. On an early weekend morning, I wouldn't blame staff for being tired I run energized, but these folks were bright as could be. They joked with each other and myself, answered questions, and made for a very welcome environment. They had my vehicle ready in only a couple of minutes. The truck was clean, ran well, and worked as hoped. Returning it was easy and quick. I've used this location multiple times and I will always look here first when I need a truck.

Employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure I was comfortable with how to properly use the trailer. This location has a large selection of trucks, trailers, and supplies to choose from. The trailer I rented was well-maintained and performed exactly as it was supposed to.

I needed to use a truck to move a very heavy gun vault. Based on the heavy load we had to move the agent recommended using a truck with a ramp. While it cost more, the use of the ramp made the offload of the gun vault much safer and easier. It took four people and a heavy duty two-wheel appliance truck to make the move. Everything went fine.
Great experience i was in and out. The service person was fast and helpful.
My scheduling of this through 1-800 Uhaul was terrible. If it was not for my follow through as a customer the truck would not have been available when I needed it. I had to call three times to get a truck when properly scheduled. The customer service was poor and I was basically called a liar about my original scheduled time until I provided proof via email. At this point nothing further was done and I was hung up on because of my dissatisfaction. This was a very bad overall experience.
I can not remember the mans name, he was the man who showed me how to use the trailer and was there for the return. He was a very good employee.
Quick and easy, and relatively inexpensive.
Stood in plain view for 15 minutes while 2 employees just walked on by, with no line at 6pm. When I was helped I got the most impatient men, an older and younger gentlemen, who rushed the entire transaction. I hope they didn't mess anything up in the process, I guess I will see once the $80 " initial charge" clears/ refunds, which they also did not tell me about& had to ask several times before I got an answer. When I asked to run it as credit I got annoyed looks since they already PROMPTED me put in my pin. I was asked by the very clearly incovienced African American man if I " wanted to do the whole contract again just to do credit." The van was WET inside, so that made transporting a king size mattress extra difficult. Never going back, would never recommend.
Very bad customer care. Was even guaranteed credits twice. Once it was never applied and the second time I was never called back to complete the credit like I was told. Not only that but for the mistake that uhaul made the credit was insulting.

My 24 hour access caused me a great inconvenience and much distress.
The trailer 6x12 that we rented was missing the bolt on the back door to lock the doors securely. We had no knowledge that the small pin needed a male/female adapter to it. Fortunately everything did not fall out of our trailer on the highway and kill someone. If my husband did not have a bike rack with a similar pin we would have been in a very very bad situation. Also the chain was way too long and we needed to buy rope to tie it up and keep it from scraping the ground. No info or education on how to was given when we rented it.
We,were overcharged for our insurance by $30 and $10 on blanket rentals! It was refunded by National Corp but never should have been needed as we had preordered on line.
So disappointed that all we received from the National Company was 10% reimbursement far less than the aggrivation and stress this defective equipment caused us. Example:
Would we get there safely?
Would we get there with our stuff or would it fall out or be stolen as we slept overnight?
Would we kill or maim someone if that door opened and our make shift fix did not hold?

Make sure that the trucks have a little bit more gas in it.
The right rearview mirror would not stay in place. The truck drives as though the transmission is going out. The truck I was given had a lot of (X) for pass incidents. The front desk person and staff in the yard was just great.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pick up and return went flawlessly.
I wish I could remember the name of the kind lady who checked us in at the UHaul on S. Kingshighway at Southwest. She was so kind and helpful. I'm glad I switched to UHaul! Hat's of to this kind lady for making my experience painless!

They were shorthanded on the day of drop-off, but staff worked quickly.
make pricing more easy to understand. I can calculate mileage and add that to the base price of the vehicle. I have a hard time trusting last minute pricing that's supposed to be for my benefit at the end of the day when I am tired.

In particular a lady employee delivered far above and beyond in attitude and acumen. When we checked in the hand cart, the man at the exterior check in station was also competent, helpful and pleasant. you made us feel that our doing business with you matters.

My wife and I have used this location for many years when faced with a moving issue. The service is excellent.
Everything was fine besides the foul smell that was resonating from the vehicle. Apparently, the person before me had pets or whatever traveling with him.
All employees were very efficient and made everything easy.
The customer service was really good and the employees were friendly, but the truck that i got had hair all over the truck.. And it didnt even look like an animal hair. It literally looked like someone shaved in the car. The employee saw it but they didnt have vacuum, so we couldnt do anything. Plus, i was in a hurry, so i didnt give a fuss about it but it was disgusting... I like the friendly employees but i wouldnt visit again just because id be scared to get that same truck, or any other truck similar to it.

People at the location were very helpful. BUT the trailer leaked considerably even in modest rain and got the bottoms of every lowest row box wet.
Wait time in line was very long for picking up and dropping off the rental. Need more workers checking in/out customers up front.
I would not recommend this location to someone needing to rent a uhaul. I HAD a reservation, multiple emails reflecting my reservation and confirmation, I did the express check in the night prior AND I talked to an employee the night before - yet I arrived at the facility to pick up the equipment and was told that my reservation had been cancelled and that they were sorry. Inexcusable.

The office staff were very helpful.
Dropping off my trailer rental while the bar across the street nearly parked the lot full of drunk Hispanics that didn't speak English and a cop that tried to escalate the situation by giving me an attitude and would t listen to my directives. My job was the responsibility of the rental and not 100 cars parked in the drop lot that I had to maneuver around late at night after a long 15 hour day of work. This will not be my location of choice IF I ever choose to rent again for U haul. I wish this experience was better but I can't say it was a good one.

For frequent renters, have the towing vehicle information on file and just ask to confirm. Process takes too long to check in when all the information, including credit card, should already be on file...
Had a flat tire in the rear but it was after we unloaded. Just a minor maintenance issue to check into.
My reservation I had made the previous day was not put in the system. When I arrived I was told the trailer I wanted would not be unavailable. I went back to my truck, and called to find a location that had a trailer as I was instructed. They tell me the location that I am at HAS a trailer available.
Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful.
My phone was stolen and it was caught on camera. Some of the staff have been helpful, others were rude and dismissive. No help is being given, unacceptable

First tow dolley was missing the large pivot pin so the part the car is riding on was not attached to the rest of the dolley. It almost fell off while I was driving on the highway to the location of the car. The equipment was attached to my truck and inspected by the person who hooked it up. I had to use the wheel hold down straps under the axle to secure it and get it back to the Kings Highway location. When I got there they found the pin on the ground next to where the dolley was parked. They dropped the pin in and said I was good to go, however I asked if it had to be secured by another pin and was initially told no. When I looked at another tow dolley in the yard I could see it was actually secured by a bolt. Fortunately the second one was in good order and an equipment swap was accomplished. This could have been a disaster twice. The girl at the counter was efficient and helpful. The guys in the yard are not to be trusted.
The wait was a little long and the counter could probably use a 3rd person, but overall, the staff is very professional, attentive, kind and very organized; easy in-and-out pickup and drop-off. I would HIGHLY recommend people to this location.

Your contract document regarding gasoline usage is flawed as the gas gauge illustration is different from that of the vehicle gauge and your gasoline utilization calculation is inaccurate causing the renter to exceed the required amount of gas to avoid your excessive $4.00/gallon fee (gas currently $2.05/gal next to your location). This creates a virtual profit windfall to the company at the expense of your customers. To avoid abusing your customers, the company should set a policy to ensure that all vehicles are rented with a full tank of gas.

Again, we had an awful experience in that our originally reserved truck was not available and we were given a smaller truck. The customer service we received was the worst...ever. The crew in St. Louis could not have been more helpful or apologetic. They saved this situation!

They may have been slightly under staffed. The pick up process was longer than I am used to there. And slightly unorganized. I was told to just go out and wait in the parking lot by my car. It was not evident who was going to take care of me. Eventually I noticed someone working. after seeing them take care of a couple other people I approached him and asked for help. Kind of an odd process.
Phone operators need to be more professions. They need to explain to their customers, not rush them into select options like price, return locations....
Since I was kind of in a hurry I did not look over inside of cab real well. Once I got to my house I saw that previous users had spilled a sticky drink in cup holders. When I returned truck I told the attendant. Otherwise all was ok. Staff were very professional and courteous to me.

The entire staff was friendly and professional. The process beginning to end was quick and efficient. Chris, hooked up the trailer and explained what he was doing and gave helpful hints existing the lot as well as driving info.
There is a traffic light at Kingshighway for easy entry on to the freeway.

This rental was an unmitigated disaster. The truck was older than dirt and had been hit multiple times on all 4 side. The AC did not work because the blower was not working at all. The 26' truck i rented had trouble going up hills (empty) and then the parking break malfunctions twice while driving it so I was driving then was forced to an instance complete stop and then the break un stuck. When the rental service called me to ask why i missed my appointment they were far more concerned about their derelict truck than my personal safety. They asked to to drive it back but then said "wait I guess we cant rent that truck..." Then I had to call roadside to get a tow truck and they wanted to make sure I knew what a parking break was. I explained that the vehicle was unsafe and we nearly got into an accident. I dont know what type of show you guys are renting but the new owner/ manager at this facility is awful. No one called me. No one wanted to know what happened. But tonight nearly 2 weeks late I finally get my receipt and it is a full charge for this death trap. I am appalled. I am paying for your people to nearly kill me in your hot death box. and still no one from this branch called to make it right. I have used U-haul for many moves over the years and this experience has greatly impacted my faith your brand.
The only glitch was the person that checked us out let my daughter drive away with the sliding door up. Luckily the dolly and pads didn't fall out. They were very nice and I would defiantly go back.

the guy at the counter was talking on the phone when he was waiting on me as such he didnt explain the rental conditions to me (including what time they closed)...then when i got in the truck i noted that the fuel tank was not at 1/2 fuel as highlighted but the guy said it was fine....I refilled the gas that i used but of course when I got my bill i was charged $16+ for gas to have it back at 1/2 full...even though I only went 15 miles and clearly didn't use 4 gallons of gas doing so!!!!! this location needs more help so customers can be waited on properly and the men in the parking lot need to not say the fuel tank is fine when clearly it's not!! i expect a refund for the fuel charge and will call in the morning

IT took 45 minutes to get the truck that was reserved a week ahead people working where very slow it took 20 minutes to find our truck . I was planning to be on the road by 11 so we got there 15 to 20 minutes before 11 and didn't get on the road in til 1130 but they sure told me I had to have the truck back by 5 that night
My reservation was incorrect. It was listed for 2/15/16 rather than 8/15/2015. Luckily they had a truck.
The staffs were friendly. The one thing is that it took a while to prepare for the autotrasport board.

The location is always busy. Maybe add more check out staff.
My on line reservation somehow changed my pick up time to 3 hours earlier. An agent called me to inquire why I'd not picked up the car. She had trouble hearing me, became rude, and said "I've canceled your reservation", and hung up on me. Fortunately, another phone representative and your counter agent were very helpful, apologetic, and nice. They made my experience positive.
Increase number of employees helping.
Mr. George Diggs was very professional and extremely helpful. He ensured my auto transport trailer was in tip top condition, enabling me to load and transport my 77 Corvette from St Louis to the Washington D.C area. This 817 mile trip was comfortable because I had *peace of mind* that my equipment was squared-away and *safe*. This level of care and concern for my well being reminded me of that of my own father! I told this to George as he was showing me how to use the equipment, and I want you to know as well. Many thanks to your whole team, but especially George! Please ensure he receives this feedback and is recognized for his superior service in a meaningful way. I like renting from U-Haul. While the equipment is obviously used (and used a lot!) it is rugged and durable and in good working order. I have never had any mechanical problems. Also, the folks involved in the inspection, hookup, check-out, and check-in processes are friendly and well-trained professionals.
This transaction had one defect, however, somehow involving the website. In addition to reserving ta 5x8 trailer, I paid for a $24.95 "Towing Starter Kit" using my credit card. Unfortunately, the location did not get the notification nor was I able to convince them that the $27.12 U-Haul charge on my credit card was for the item. As a consequence, I paid for an item (online) which I did not receive, and also had to pay $5.00 to rent one from the store!
Despite this, the clerk, manager, and I agreed to wait a few days to see "how the dust settles", that is, if the item is delivered to my home or if the charge gets canceled.
Keep doing what you are doing! George is still amazing!

My trailer reservation was at the Hwy K O'Fallon,MO location. A couple of days before pickup a location in Florisant called and said the reservation had been moved to that location. This was 25 miles one-way to pick-up. Upon my arrival on the day of pick-up, Florrisant did not have a trailer. They had leased it to a walk-in. Desk guy said the mananger would call me for a $50 reservation guarantee reimbursal. No call yet. Reservation moved to Kingshighway location, another 20 mile drive then 30 miles home. So, i had to drive 75 miles to get the trailer to begin the trip. In all, the Uhaul reservation system is terrible. The next time I need a trailer. I will look for other alternatives.
After waiting in line on August 3 for my 15 foot truck I received the wrong size (a 10 foot truck). I did not realize the error until I had gotten the truck and was told to go back inside and have a new truck assigned. When I went back inside I briefly explained the situation to Michelle (I believe that was her name, she has short very blonde hair). Despite me already waiting in line and getting the wrong truck she told me I needed to go back to the end of the line and continue to wait until of all of the other customers were served. I ended up being over 25 minutes late for my movers who were waiting (at a cost of $55 an hour). I found this incredibly rude and terrible customer service. It was not my fault I was given the wrong truck and I feel it should have been corrected right away instead of taking other customers (who had been there after me). She unnecessarily cost me time and money and was rude and slow.
It was a bit congested when I returned the vehicle late Sunday night/early Monday morning. The establishment next door was still open and they used the parking in the lot and there were not any empty spaces to leave the trailer until someone left. Other than that very happy with the overall experience with this location.

I've used this particular location for over 5 years. The new manager Edward is nothing short of amazing. I hope he stays forever. I've rented every size truck available and every experience gets better and better. Only critique would be that my pickup truck was close to filthy when i picked it up. This place is ran like a zoo. It's comical how bad the customer service is. They didn't tell me how much they are going to charge to put a wire harness on ($42.50) which took 10 minutes and i could do myself, and would have if i have known how much i was going to be charged. Then the guy said it was going to be $30 to purchase but they charged me $52....not only that, after i paid an extra $100 i wasn't planning on, they told me i was "all set" so i walk outside and BOOM, nothing is ready..... the trailer wasn't there, no one was near the truck to tell me where to go for the trailer. so i go back inside and ask the lady what she meant by "all set" cause nothing is ready. She told me to drive around back and there would be someone out there to connect the trailer. So i do that, but there's no one there....so i hook the damn thing up myself and drive around the building to the front to let her know that i just took the closest 4x8 trailer cause no one was there so she needs to check the numbers on it and change things if needed cause i'm done waiting for these clowns to do anything. I needed that for 1 trip but will need a 6x12 in a couple more days for the big final move, i'll be going elsewhere/buying a damn trailer myself rather than deal with that kinda of shit again.
My friends (movers) picked the uhaul up, not the one I rented because they were told they didn't have the uhaul I rented at this location, was sent to the wrong location, was told they didn't have the uhaul I rented, went to the next location, they still didn't have my uhaul I rented, my friend ended up paying for a similar uhaul trailer for me which he paid for. And then I was charged for the uhaul I never got. Would like a full refund also, I was late to move in and get keys, so much confusion, still waiting to hear back from Uhaul

My only issue was the weight of the trailer made my check engine light come on. Even though the trailer was approved for my vehicle. Once the trailer was unhooked it did go off.
The personnel here are helpful and always have a smile.

I was able to return my equipment without a hiccup to the South Kingshighway location. I realized that I had forgotten to gas up the truck, so the employee gave me back the keys and instructed me to the nearest gas station. Upon return, the truck and tow dolly I rented were turned in without issue. Everyone I dealt with on location was courteous and professional. There are no recommendations I have to add.

The group at the kingshighway location was amazing! They were very busy but very courteous and kind. My uhual truck was not available and I had to wait a few minutes and they gave me a discount! George patiently helped me practice hooking up the tow dolley and gave me some great tips. I would use them again!

Messed my order up 3 times. Sent me 25 miles out of my way to a location to rent a truck. Only problem was they didnt have not one truck there. Representives were unprofessional. Never use Uhaul again. I even put my order in two weeks prior.

1 of 2 elevators was down the elevator itself was small. Images online don’t represent what we reserved. It was unGODLY hot on the 5th floor. We were told the building was temperate even w/o AC.

It was quite an inconvenience that my Ubox did not arrive on time and that the shipping company was very difficult to reach to determine the status of my box.
I was concerned that a rat-trap was in the storage unit.
This was our first experience, but we found the staff very helpful and the facilities were clean and easily accessible.
The gentleman who checked me in was very courteous and stayed a couple minutes. Later than his shift to get me situated. I very much appreciated it.

The neither of the back access door swipe card lock never worked on the first, second, third or fourth times.
The bathroom inside the storage area is beautiful. Seriously, the toilet has two flush buttons. Doesn`t get fancier than that.
I just think the size that I have should be cheaper in cost. My couch is 6 feet long so I expected it to fit into a 5x8x8 room, but it didn`t.I don`t think the sizes are of the rooms are accurate

The central phone customer service was awful. I believe one agent was named Theresa who was helping me. She was rude and rather unhelpful.
I work crazy hours and would have liked easier 24 hour access.

The movers from Right Away Movers did an amazing job. Loaded the box full in less than 2 hours.

It was a little strange that this facility is a converted building and my unit had a raw edge drywall on one side of the door. All my ratings above are favorable, however.

Staff was friendly, but seems like training is lacking for UBox. UBox door was broken also, door and lock attached with just screws is not secure.
The only complaint I had was that no one told me that I needed to tell them when I wanted my items shipped, so I did not get them when I wanted them. Other than that, my experience was good.

Only area of improvement is to implement a fast track access process. In two of the three access instances, we had an excessive delay in getting the key to get into our storage facility.
The only thing that caused me concern was the presence of rodent poison in the unit. I just hope they don`t damage any of my personal property.

My experience was extremely frustrating. Seemed as if no one knew where my ubox was, then I was told by 2 different locations that they had it.

I felt tricked often about the pricing. You must buy a lock from your store, the option to get no insurance is on a second page, etc.
The night before we called and made reservations but when we got there the lady who checked us out said,she couldnt find it, she was extremely rude and I wouldnt be surprised if she was racist.

The elevators are never operational and there is no manager or someone on duty during hours after 3 p.m. with authority to address customer concerns.
Unit dirty, rodent trap in space. Humidity evident, motion-sensing lights did not immediately come on, one elevator was broken. Hallways/doorway to unit would not accommodate an average size sofa.

Donna provided us with all the information we needed and we signed up for climate controlled storage. I am confident from meeting her that everything will be just fine.
The staff were wonderful. Most of my stuff was able to get up to the unit, a tall bookshelf, however did not fit on the elevators and a cross-beam support under it came loose while trying.
I STORAGE USES ARE VERY SMALL. WHEN YOU HAVE A ONE WAY TRUCK THEY OFFER YOU A STORAGE UNIT FOR 30 DAYS FREE, BUT WHAT DON`T TELL YOU IS THE UNIT IS SMALLER THAN A WALK IN CLOSET

The only issue I had is that refunds are not given even if the storage unit is only used for a portion of the month.
i used the u-haul phone number they quoted me a rate when i got to the storage place it was something different. which was very dirty because i would have went to public storage
