The staff was friendly and helpful until the day I moved out. She followed us around, citing rules and regulations. Then we could not find her anywhere after we finished.
This Uhaul location was ran like a well oiled machine. The customer service was outstanding. The manager, Jason, was incredibly professional and had a great attitude.
All the staff were friendly and professional, and Phil Eggers was especially helpful in the lot with tips and information.

The Lower Colfax team in Denver is awesome - - and Peggy was especially friendly/helpful!! Great group of people assembled.
General Manager (I forgot his name. I think it was Greg) was extremely helpful, courtesy and professional. He was patient in helping us hook up the trailer and he even helped us load a wooden shelving unit into it after it was hooked up. This guy was awesome and he is exactly the kind of guy that one would want representing their company. Kudos for a job well done!!
I paid for a large truck and they gave me a smaller one. I would like my money back.
Phillip was the individual helping me with my move (on a snowy Saturday) and he was extremely professional and a great representative of your company. With out his professionalism my move would have not gone so smooth. Give Phillip a raise, there needs to be more employees like him in this world.
Make sure truck customers are informed about the "tow/haul" function at pick up. Otherwise equipment and staff were great!

Trailer was either dirty of maybe had a small air leak as my boxes and plastic crates all seemed to be much dirtier coming in than going out. Unsure what caused that but I've never experieinced this before and I've used U-Haul trailers several times before.
Phil did a great job ensuring checking out and in went smoothly and quickly to help my move less painful.
I've always had terrible experiences trying to rent moving trucks but everyone was quick and professional at this place. Keep up the good work.

Very friendly, very efficient. Well stocked location, but small lot. Gets tight with returns and pickups going on in the same small space.
The side-view mirrors, at least on the 10-foot truck, were very hard to adjust. I think a review of that process would be helpful, since it is one of the most necessary aspects of driving the truck. Thank you.

The customer service at this location is ALWAYS excellent. Peggie is the most friendly and helpful UHaul employee I have ever worked with (and I've worked with a lot!). I always look forward to coming in and working with her as I know it will be a friendly, professional and efficient check out and check in process. I'd never go anywhere else!!!
The passenger side mirror moved with every bump in the road. Made my lane changes very stressful & unsafe. When I returned the box truck I mentioned this problem. From the attendant's comment, it was obvious that this was a 'known' issue that had been overlooked.
All staff was friendly, truck ran well, no complaints here. Great job all around.
Best U-Haul experience I have ever had.
finish reorganizing the lot. The only part of this that was even mildly negative was getting the trailer off the U-Haul lot, and then getting it back in to drop off. It was extremely tight. Trailer was excellent. Customer Service was excellent. Help in the lot was excellent.
Phil, the nice man who got the truck ready and inspected it upon return, was great. You should hire more guys like him.
Perhaps it would be good to offer customers and staff should access to fresh water and hot coffee, given the remote location this would make thungs a little brighter and add a nice touch that goes with how friendly the staff are and how hard they work.

make sure the gas gauges are working correctly. I had a truck misread my fuel after a fill up.
U haul has a good system. We had an uneventful trailer-haul experience. It helps to prepare the tow vehicle with proper hitch, light connections, and weight limits review. We hauled over Vail and Loveland passes, so had to reduce our load. DCLawry
My reservation was booked incorrectly for the wrong vehicle type and the wrong dates. Although the staff was helpful and made sure I had a vehicle, i was disappointed that I had to use a larger vehicle than I planed to use.

I can't think what would make it better - people are curteous, helpful, clear about the use and return of the vehicle - the cargo vans, that we have used the last 3 of 4 weeks, are good, comfortable, safe, and esxacgtly what we need vehicles. Thank you for making the job of trying to move yourself long distances much more pleasant, and a little cheaper!

I didn't have a reservation but took a chance and I was in and out of there with exactly what I needed in under 10 minutes. It was perfect.
One of the staff meembers at the request of the Manager threatened me by stating he will force me to pay for another persons charges. These young immature people do not give all the information they should to customers.
The truck's odometer mileage indicated 20% more miles driven than the distance of the route I drove according to Google. I was charged for 59 miles, having only driven about 48. My phone call was redirected to someone at a different location, who said she would have the manager call me back. I have not yet received that call. I called again and spoke to someone at the location, who said he would check the accuracy of the odometer. Hopefully the erroneous extra mileage charge will be removed so I don't have to dispute it through my credit card company.
Staff was courteous and efficient...was able to rent and return the truck in a timely manner...
All my things were secure and once I forgot to lock my unit. Uhaul let me know and also watched everything until I could come to lock it properly..
I found out when I arrived for pickup that I needed to give a phone number of someone connected to me because there had been trucks stolen recently. I didn't bring my address/phone book so it was tricky for a few moments till I came up with a number I remembered. If I'd known in advance, it would have been good.
The windshield whippers were bad and there was no window washer fluid. It was difficult to find the center and people seemed unhappy.
My experience was great. The employee at pick up went above and beyond what was necessary to get the vehicle ready on a snowy, icy and frigid morning.
this location is very close for a drop off and i was able to leave the truck overnight to facilitate better off loading. the personnel are very easy to work with and very professional. i would have loved being able to leave a small trailer at this location in lew of a free storage space but they did not have on lot storage. great facility.

Well I wasnt to happy that I got a call to drop off my rental to a different location. When I got to that location, he didnt have a record of that and sent me to the 2000 colfax st. They didnt know anything about and were full but they would fine a spot
The experience was horrible, the staff were rude and refused to assist me with a situation I had. Staff all the way to the Regional Office refused. I will NEVER rent or refer anybody to UHAUL in general, EVER!!
well there was a game at the stadium with heavy traffic at that location, it would have been nice to ask me if I wanted to reschedule or provide clear instructions for how to deal with it
My experience with the Uhaul store on W. Lower Colfax was superb. Jason and his team were extremely helpful. The ubox delivery time-frame: not so good. But I realize out of the Uhaul stores control.
Even in the snow and cold the lady working in the lot was cheerful and friendly. makes a big difference :
This location has it going on! From dispatch to return I am overall pleased with the knowledgeable staff to the quality of trailer equipment. Keep in the groove!
Front desk nice and helpful but did not seem to understand or be able to access their own systems. More training needed.
It wasn't clean because of the recent snow but was otherwise perfect.
My wiring was messed up and they took an hour and a half of their time to figure out the problem and fix it. Great people.
truck was fine drove well nice to have three power ports and the Mp3 jack input. Only suggestion is cruse control we drove from Denver to Pa on the long highways cruse would be great to have gas peddle leg was hurting at the end of each day !!!!
Every staff person was helpful and courteous. The facility, including the bathrooms, was always clean. I was extremely pleased.
The employees at this location have a better attitude than some of the Uhaul locations I've done business with in the past. Kudos to this group and the Management.
Roof leaks appear to be a concer
Employee receiving returns tried to charge me for a full tank if gas stating that "we never send trucks out with less that a full tank if gas". When I told him it was documented that it had around a quarter of a tank (I returned it with the same amount as when I received it), he said I would have to pay a $30 fee in addition to the additional gas for returning the truck with less than a quarter of a tank.
Rental clerk was very courteous and pleasant to deal with!
The vehicle that we rented was extremely filthy, and the gear shift was broke when we received the vehicle. It was horribly dirty inside, and the brakes on the vehicle seemed to be not work; you had to pump them three or four times to get a grip. That's not safe. Also, I believe the woman said she would waive the $30 dollar fuel surcharge, but somehow, it still came to be over $100. It would be nice how that happened? We won't be using this location any longer, especially when we are moving cloth-like cargo. Everything came out dirty.
The truck was well maintained, something that has been a problem with past U-Haul rentals. The personnel at this location were friendly and knowledgeable, and were very helpful in explaining the truck and contract. This was a very short distance rental, but met our needs well.

Location is hard to find if you are not familiar with the area. Very limited customer parking. I came to this site because it was the only one that I could find with a cargo van for lease.
Very clean, with helpful staff, and easy access by loading dock and elevators. There`s always plenty of carts available for use.
The staff was wonderful. I wish I could remember the young lady`s name, because she couldn`t have been more friendly and helpful. Thank you!
Personnel very good and fast, was out in five minutes. Loation very hard to find as it has a major road with almost the same name. Called location for instructions and was provided very good directions from where I got lost. Overall would recommend but would explain how to find location.

The attached invoice is inaccurate for the following reasons:
1) Cleaning Fee: The inside of this trailer was spotless when it was returned. The exterior dirt is not abnormal for a 1200 mile drive through the Rockies from Denver to Los Angeles. It was received from the Denver location covered in dirt and snow. Nowhere on the contract does it state the client is responsible for exterior cleaning prior to return. I do not agree with the $25 cleaning fee charges.
2) Overdue Charges: The U-haul trailer was due on Thursday, December 12 @ 2:30. I called the Drop-off office on the due date to inform them that I would need an extra day due to a car accident on the Vail Pass that set me back 2 days. I was informed by Monica that I could drop-off the trailer in the evening when the location was closed. Upon arrival at the location the gate was locked and there was no secure location to leave the trailer. I arrived on Sunday morning, December 15 to again find the location closed.
3) Telephone Service: I attempted on 3 occasions to discuss the delay in my trip and explain the accident in the mountains to representatives at the drop-off location and the U-haul customer service number. Nobody could give me an answer about concessions made for situations beyond my control. I then attempted to find an alternative location to drop-off the trailer due to the assigned location being closed. All 24 hour drop-off locations and those open on Sunday refused to accept the trailer drop-off without permission from the original rental location. I spent an hour on the phone on Sunday morning trying to resolve the problem with drop-off. I was transferred to 4 different agents in 2 different states to find a solution. In the end I was simply disconnected and bounced to a voicemail.
3) Drop-Off: I dropped off the trailer on Monday, December 16 @ approximately 11:00 AM. I backed in the trailer and waited for assistance to unhook it from my truck. Nobody came out to assist me therefore I unhooked the trailer myself. Customer service was non-existent at this location.
I am very unsatisfied with the level of service and assistance in resolving these issues. I refuse to pay the "cleaning fee" and the "overdue late charges" assessed on this invoice.
It would be best if we can negotiate an appropriate and fair remedy to this situation.

Only problem was I did not get my dozen pads and had to have Local Movers llc stop and pick them up. No credit was offered.
Would have liked to have gotten storage unit I had requested at a cheaper rate and was confirmed 2 times. Also was supposed to be a first floor unit. Ended up on 2nd floor.
I had a wonderful rental experience here. Checking in was a breeze, the staff was very knowledgeable, and the equipment was very well maintained. They were very accommodating with my schedule and I will do business with them again.

It would be great if all trucks are rented out with a full tank and to be returned with a full tank. Even with the instructions given, trying to calculate how much gas needs to be put in to fill it up to 5/8 of a tank before return is a hassle, especially after a long day of moving!

After years of consistently mediocre to poor experiences with U-Haul, this experience was a pleasant surprise. The employees were friendly and helpful, no long lines or signs of under-staffing, and the van was new(ish) and had no problems.
The guys and gals there are always helpful; very friendly and very outgoing. I have used this location over the years for at least 5 off & on.....they just seem to get better and better (at least for me). I wish I could remember the names of the 2 young men and the funny lady behind the counter---but they were great. Especially since it was a SUPER COLD SNOWY day yesterday and I am sure they all wanted to go home!

You didn`t let me know that the 2 box trailer I rented at mile high was not a standard elsewhere. This resulted in serious heartburn and major problems the day of my move.

From the beginning, the reservations were not good. I was placed in a very dark corner of the facility, and treated rudely by the staff.
the girl who works there is lazy sitting there with fake long nails and has no customer service. When you ask here any question, she is slow to respond and acts like we are bothering her privacy.
Access was good, I only needed the smallest unit, but it does have a beam in the ceiling that makes load in a bit of a challenge when stacking

Our storage unit was right by the loading dock, so it was damaged from the outside from trucks backing into our unit, pushing the door in about 4 inches and dented the wall as well.

Amanda and her sister were very accommodating. I do not believe that I was told that I would have to return the truck and car hauler to a different location. Very inconvenient and inconsiderate.

Door and latches should have been in better condition
Moving can be stressful, but my experience at the 2000 W Lower Colfax storage unit was not. Please recognize the staff for their excellent service and well-maintained facility.

This particular location is great. The Uhaul shipping experience, however, was really bad. Need more communication with customers and hold your shippers accountable to delivery timelines.
Elevator was broken upon moving in. 24 hour access is preferred. Also, the rent went up within 2 months of use coincidence or not, it was an unpleasant surprise.

I called a day beforehand to have my Ubox ready. I showed up early to make sure my ubox was ready for the movers to unload. It took 45 minutes to get my ubox down.
Extended hours would be helpful, and having them without needing to request in advance is preferred. I understand the security concern, though this is beneficial.

There are two locations called Mile High Station and they don`t currently have 24-hour access. These issues were not resolved to my satisfaction.

This is a very nicely run storage facility. The staff was always very helpful. A special thank you to Erica who helped me and went over and above expectations on my moving day.
Everything was great! The only critique I have is that the unloading area was very difficult to back into with a trailer due to location of the door and set up of the surrounding area.
Reserved 10x10 arrived with stuff to see it was split into two separate units, one with a huge pole going through it and chicken wire for a roof. SONYA didn`t care and was rude
I was supposed to get a free mth but was given a 7x10 for a 20’ truck which would not fit everything so had to rent a 2nd unit. They didn’t have my reservation-U-Haul and this place don’t communicate.

Elevator out for 2 weeks,couldnt move out.No word from mgr after 2 staff said he would call.Locked out of our space for nonpayment,mgr gave us an extra week for free bc of elevator.Headaches.

When making the reservation we were told that we would get the first month free. When we arrived we were charged over $100 for the first month.

It`s absolutely ridiculous to be charged for 25 days of the months rent when the storage unit is unused by me. This should be prorated.

Having to pay extra for extended hours access to my storage unit is ridiculous. And the fact that you can`t move in past 7 pm. I`m busy, don`t have time to take off a whole day to move stuff.
While the location is convenient, it is a problem trying to get there when the Broncos are playing. We won`t making that mistake again.

Very helpful and accommodating. I took a little longer to move everything into my storage space, and they stayed open a little late so I could finish. Very much appreciated.

I was disappointed when the facility closed early at 3PM on Sunday, when it was clearly posted in at least two places that it was open until 5.
Unit was difficult to get to. The elevator was broken when I had to move out and didn`t find out until I got there. Staircases are very narrow. staff very helpful and willing to accomodate
I had some frustrating problems with the freight elevator not working properly. I reported the problems to the manager.

Great price. The place needs smoother floors for the carts. Some asshole decided to paint the interior with a paint sprayer. All my stuff was covered with a layer of smelly paint dust.

The worst experience I`ve ever had with a company. Not just this particular location, the customer service was dreadful as well. I will never recommend nor use U-Haul storage again.
Rented a car tow trailer in Illinois, dropped it off in Denver and rented a storage unit. The whole process was a great experience
The boxes were smaller than advertised and the door of one of my boxes fell completely off.
We got a free month with our trailer rental and were very pleased with the storage unit! It was huge! The unit property were very clean, and the all of your staff were wonderful and friendly!
Overall, I have been very disappointed in the customer service.
Each box had a different door-locking system and the door on my box completely fell off, the hinge came off of the door and we had to screw it into place.
Maybe extend the office hours opened to access boxes
The level of service is poor. My experience is that it takes a long time to purchase anything. I would not recommend this uhaul store.
The online reservation allowed me to schedule delivery of my UBox however after calling I discovered the box could not be delivered it had to be picked up.

The small staff was sometimes overloaded when things got busy it was busy both when I dropped off and picked up my stuff from the unit. Getting boxes in and out was inconvenient if it was crowded.

Storage unit was just barely big enough and I wasn`t sure how to access it 24hrs a day, even though it said I was supposed to be able to, but overall, a good experience.
Wall in unit is crumbling covering all my items in dust. Storage area was always freezing. Holes in concrete floor made moving difficult.
The only complaint I have is that the refinishing of the floors during my lease left my belongings covered in saw dust and smelling like varnish.
It was not very well temperature controlled and it is not in a good location.
New guy needs more training.
U-Haul and U-Box were great in helping me move my box from Boston, to Knoxville, then to Denver. The timing was excellent and I couldn`t have asked for better service.
My favorite feature is the automated billing to my credit card. I do not live in the same state so this easy solution gave me piece of mind my property would be secure.

Quick, friendly staff. Access to doors and loading areas was awkward and not terrific but for location it was decent.
I rented a unit on the first floor. There was a mesh ceiling over unit. My belongings had a large amount of dust soot over them. Thats my only complaint in entire rental experience.

Absolutely everyone at the mile high station u-haul facility was incredibly helpful. Particularly, Sam, Sam, Ron, and Gaby were wonderful to work with
I had several items damaged during transit. Glass would make sense, but when two 600 pound ratchet straps isn`t enough to hold things in place, that involved some rough jolting.
after making a 1st floor storage unit reservation, when we arrived we were given a 2nd floor spot. many extra hours were spent just loading/unloading. very disappointed.
My only displeasure is that the CSA`s don`t know how much storage space is needed approx to unload a certain sized truck. I was told 1 size locker for a 17foot truck, but it took 2 lockers.
Floor could be a bit cleaner, but overall in good shape. The free month with a one-way rental is a great deal.
staff very friendly, but was disappointed that although the unit was listed as climate controlled it was still over 90 degrees during the summer

Associate were absolutely wonderful but the facility is difficult and unsafe to access. Only one loading area. The elevator can only be used by one party at a time. Stairs were horrid.

The cleaning lady had the key to my storage unit, so that took another half hour. The moving crew paid by the hour, and I, just waited.
Everyone was friendly and helpful and the location was secure. However the climate controlled second floor was still over 90 degrees in August.
Parking for loading and unloading is inadequate...you basically have to use one lane of a 4 lane undivided road to unload a truck.

My distaste for uhaul goes far beyond what can be expressed in 200 characters. Staff generally as helpful as they can be, just start ANSWERING YOUR PHONE!
My only issue was that the storage unit was very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter, however the staff was execellent!
Seemed to be very well maintained, even though it is a very old building. Carts were always available to use. The only complaint was that my unit was far away from where I parked my car.
I was very pleased with the service provided by Mile High Station. Very professional.
They could not find my reservation, Did not have the size storage area i reserved, told me my one way truck rental was illegal. Mr. Little was the main poc.

This facilities is greatly under staffed. The manager, only one on duty, was swamped.17foot truck full, was poorly given. I`ve used U-Haul a lot in the past, but this was not a good experience.

The build was awful, the floors are cracked and makes it impossible to us crates to move your stuff. I would not rent there again for that reason! Staff is great though...
Ronald the manager was helpful, patient and kind. It really couldn`t have gone any smoother! Moving is such a stressful time and U haul certainly made it easy!

I am having a great experience at this uhaul location. The dock is open everytime I need to get into my unit and the Assistant Manger Ryan helped me get everthing set up in a breeze. Thx again guys!
It seems a bit dirty and the rafters above are covered with dirt. If I were going to stay longer than 1 month I would probably move.
Excellent customer service
Upon checking in we were ignored for almost 40 min. People were rude and unhelpful. It took longer then an hour to get into a locker.
The door to my unit was broke anyone could have broke in and asked every time I was there to have it fixed. It never was.
The ramp on level two might pose a safety hazard to `weaker` customers and there was dust on the ceiling. However, nice facility, and nice/helpful staff.

I only rate it average because it is understaffed. Other than obvious staffing and phone issues, the staff there was awsome! Way overworked and underpaid I am sure.
I was there for 2 hours making arrangements and getting wrong keys- had to back again. They tried hard, but the new computer system was difficult for them to work with.

Problem getting access during busy truck rental hrs.
We vacated 4 days into the new month but no proration was available.
Access to storage only during limited operating hours.
There is a line everytime I go and only one person working the counter. I will never use this facility again due to the excessive wait.
I like the fact that there were pull carts to help me transfer my things to my storage.
The staff at this location was reasonably helpful and friendly. I was however irritated by a few of Uhaul`s practices and policies. Feel free to call me if you care. 200 char limit is not helpful.
