The price for a one-way was a little high.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They allowed me to change my pick up date of the truck without hassle. After picking up the truck I discovered that the fuel sensor was not working. Kenny attempted to have the part replaced before I left St. Louis, but it wasn't possible. He credited back $100 for the inconvenience. The next day when I arrived at this location to have my car loaded onto the auto transport, we discovered that my car doors could not clear the fenders of the transport. Two of the employees jacked up one side of the vehicle until I could open my car doors. They also attempted to find me another auto transport, but none were available. Very helpful staff!
Impressed by fact that they looked for the lowest cost way to supply my need.
The service was absolutely great! They had no notice on a Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and got me taken care of without a hitch. I will consider the Page office first for all of my moving needs in the future. Many thanks.... Al

We were provided a faulty connector for the trailer lights. They took care of us and compensated us for tgd problem.Great place to deal with and would highly recommend and use again ourselves.
My online reservation was set for me to pick up the truck in kirkwood mo where I was staying. UHaul called a day before to tell me I had to pick it up at another location 30 minutes north. I picked uHaul based on the pick up location. This location said they didn't have the man power to deliver my rental to the location a requested. Not happy.
truck had problems starting .. It did but took a minute
The first uhaul we contacted in florissant called us a week prior to our rental reservation to tell us the truck was broken down. When asked if there was one available at another location they acted like they had called and none available. I called myself and found the truck at this location. About 3 hours after picking up truck received a phone call stating they rented us the wrong truck and we would need to return for the proper truck. I told them the truck was half full and there was no way we were going to unload truck and return it. We had 6 guys over helping load. They continued to say that they would try to work it out but may need the truck back and would call us back in about an hour. I told them the truck would probably be full by then and there was no way we were going to bring truck back. I guess they worked something out because we never heard back. Would not use UHaul in the future due to unorganizaton and no initiative to solve a problem before calling the customer.
Excellent service and fast
List on the contract the octane rating of fuel used in the vehicle rented. There was no info for this anywhere in the vehicle so I called to confirm my guess and it was affirmed as 87 octane by the individual at UHaul. Filled up to pre departure level upon returning.

Wheels a little "chippy" worn on the appliance dolly, but worked fine for what we had to do.
Reservation was canceled and I had to drive thirty minutes away for my trailer, and was offered no compensation. I will not be renting from uhaul again if this is the way they treat their customers. The whole situation was very frustrating.
The employee that helped us to attach the trailer was rude and was distracting our sales agent as he was discussing his plans for after work and inviting the sales guy. It was disruptive as we were trying to ask questions and get the sale taken care of.

Though we ordered two U-Boxes, we only used one and were told that we would be charged for only one. Unfortunately, we were charged for two. We now need to call to ask for a refund, which is inconvenient.
Everything has run smoothly using UHAUL Ubox. I`ve had a great experience and would use this service again.

The only issue we had with the truck was the brake lights were not working. other than that, great experience and nice truck.

Boxes were delivered and picked up late due to delivery truck mechanical issue resulting in a week delay which looks like I was charged for which is about 48% more than quoted.
Overall, truck was good and had plenty of power. However, e-brake was hanging up and was smoking. Kind of scary, but it eventually stopped. Also, there was some kind of "shudder" at a certain speed that was reluctant to go away.
Overall, the 6 x 12 trailer I rented was fine. Part of the rubber "rail" on one of the walls was detached and needs to be repaired. The floor could have been a bit cleaner, but acceptable. One of the forward running lights on the roof of the trailer worked only intermitantly. This would be noticed only if was observed at night. Also, as an idea, the "backward" 55 speed limit signs that are on the fenders (and only noticed if looking in the rear view mirror at road leved) would be better placed in larger letters (backward) on the front of the trailer so every time the driver looked in the rear view mirror (out of habit), the driver would see the 55 mph speed limit reminder. To be fair, I should have pointed out these small defects to the employees. I would be glad to tell them if you want. The trailer was rented on Page Blvd in Overland Missouri. The employees were helpful, polite and accomodating. This comment only reflects on several small things on the trailer. I would be impressed if whoever is reading from this U-Haul made the effort to contact the U-Haul in Overland Missouri to pass on this information and sent me an email back to let me know that this information was passed on. I' m looking forward to see it this email was actually read and acted upon.
My lock was inadvertently cut off my storage unit and my things were moved to another storage unit before i got a call that all my and my daughter's belongings were accidentally moved. I am VERY upset, disgusted and feel very violated. I put my trust in uhaul and it was taken advantage of. I will NEVER use them again. Everyone I know will know about this incident. I would definitely recommend staying away from this company on all social media outlets and by word of mouth.
I would recommend only because of the service and the consideration of the manager.
The brand new pickup truck was great! Always a good experience at this location!
My mover was on time and very professional. He got everything packed away perfectly to fit for a long safe ride to Dallas from St. Louis. I would definitely use this service again in the future.

U-box is clean and well equip with protective cloths for my stuff.
Customer service was friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. The pick up truck was clean and appeared to be well maintained. It ran beautifully. The check in and check out process was quick and easy. Only thing I think would have helped my experience even more so was to be informed that the pick up sits do not go up and down. I am 5"2" and I had a lot of blind spots because I could not adjust the seats for a safer drive. If I had know I would have come better prepared. Thank you!
We are so glad we chose Uhaul! I would suggest having a coupon in the isle moving guide or something similar. We almost went with your competitor because they offered a coupon and their prices are already less than yours.
The truck was incredibly old. Also, they switched out location at the day of pickup bc our truck was unavailable. Then the new location called to say the truck was in the shop and may be late. I believed we were entitled to the $50 credit since our truck was not at the location we needed. They did not honor that.
Your website didn`t let me pick UNLOADING my filled U-Box it tried to schedule loading an empty U-Box. I got it sorted but your website should have asked me which I wanted: load or unload.
I went to the eastern entrance which is the storage facility. Entrance signage for the rental facility could be clearer.
This is the second time I have dropped off here. They are quick and thorough in their inspection and finalization of the rental. I can't think of any recommendations.
When I made my original reservation, I told the CS rep that I only needed the van from 8-2. With the threat of thunderstorms, I called to try to alter my reservation for all day. I was told that I could not do that because the van was being rented out again at 2:30
The process was simple and we had no problems with the truck or the customer service.
When we first rented a pick-up truck plus auto transport from the Overland branch, we paid in advance, but upon arrival home, the order was cancelled. Reason given "other". The next day we went again to Overland, booked again same thing, the clerk did not know why it was cancelled (and never bothered to check why). Second order he booked was cancelled again. The next day, a woman called from (314) 355 7902, was very rude, in a bad mood, and very unpleasant. She said her name was Angela (probably not her real name). She explained that there is a new policy for St. Louis. they do NOT rent pick up trucks with auto transport.
1) why don't the manager and employees of U-Haul Overland know that? why do I have to come twice, book same thing, and they do not know that U-Haul does not allow that?
2) why doesn't U-Haul allow it? I gave them my credit card so in case there is a 'theft' as they claim, they can charge my card. They can also check my credit-report.
3) That woman from the "corporate" was VERY rude and unpleasant. Hanged up on me (the customer). When I asked for a manager, she said there was no manager and hanged up on me.
4) Another woman from the call center pretend to be physically at the Overland branch. They lie and say they are in that branch when they answer, but they are not. The branch said they had no such women working there. Why not say that they are "the calling center". why let the customer think that they are talking from a person within that branch itself?
5) most importantly - once you load the car on the auto transport (we got the pick up truck from enterprise) - it is impossible to open the door and get out of your car. We had to climb from the window. What would a fat or handicapped person do if he can't climbed through the car window. that is crazy...
Overall, very unpleasant experience with U-Haul Overland. unnecessary stress for the customer. running all over town. They could have just said on the phone they don't rent pick-up trucks plus auto transport, and save the customer many trips and aggravation...
The truck that I rented had an awful wind noise, enough so the radio or cell phone were of no use. Plus the fact of giving me a headache.
At times you need more help at the desk.
Your system does not always work well. I had scheduled the return of the U Box to my home and when I called to confirm they had no record of it. If Ihad not called it would not have been delivered in time to be emptied and put on the moving van.
The staff was friendly, courteous and professional, and the equipment was available on time and in excellent condition.
Uhaul rep set my appointment for the wrong day at the ofallon Mo. location. This caused me to have to go to another location that was 30 minutes away (page ave store) last minute. I ended up spending more in gas money and it caused issues with timing for my move. It was a huge headache. I was not happy with the way it was resolved. They basically told me I was up a creek without a paddle and I could either do it another day or go pick the other trailer up. No compensation was offered.
The staff at the pick up point made the pick painless.

Although my overall experience was good, the customer service was very poor and the gentlemen I worked with mad the process quite confusing.
They were supposed to give me a credit for having me drive all around the city just for a cargo van that they never gave to me.
I received a call a week before the move to confirm and they offered any additional help. This was the easiest move I have ever had. Thanks and I will most definitely use again if the needed!
I was completely satisfied
This doesn't have to do with this specific location, but I had an issue with the reservation booking process over the phone. We needed a U-Haul for two days, and the person over the phone (who was not specific to the location we were renting from) said they would put a note that we wanted the rental for 48 hours and the specific location should contact us about it. My issue is that no one ever got back to us and when I called the next week, they told us they absolutely could NOT give us a truck for 48 hours and by then we were scrambling to find a location that could. If a note is added to contact someone who made a reservation, that NEEDS to happen and I feel like the locations don't follow up with that and it causes problems.
Check the trailer to make sure it is clean before it is picked up
I had booked a 26inch truck but at the time of delivery i was given 15inch only. This eventually meant that i had to do more number of trips for my shift and i had to pay more to moving help guys (Frank movers in this case). When i went to return the truck and discuss this with Ken (the manager) he started telling me lies that i did not take the 26 inch truck and it was ready. I don't get the logic why i will not take the 26 inch truck when i book one. Secondly because the number of trips increased and do the did the time, i had to pay more to the helpers. Ken was not ready to agree to that. He had his own maths to defy everything. His customer service values were zero. Beware of the promises.
I received a truck with an 1/8 of a tank of gas...no bueno.
Be more observant to customers arriving in the store and serve them accordingly. One individual decided not to wait and went ahead of others that were there first. The person behindvthe counter did not notice and served him angering the other customers.
You can train your associates on how to offer service. I called to confirm the final charges after an after hours drop off and the cs agent told me I'd be getting a refund. She didn't sound confident in her answer and could not explain why or what she was looking at. She had trouble locating my contract vía address phone number alternate number and name! That is why I didn't trust her answer so I called back and got routed to Phoenix and the lady said she was corporate and I need to talk to customer service who gave me inaccurate information to begin with. So I called a third time and got the store and told the agent that there's a charge 8/1 @ 4:43pm for $70.28 and another on 8/2 @ 8:50 Am for $8.13. No one can explain these charges since the records show $68. I asked if I can call the bank for her to hear and witness the information directly so that she can relay the information to her manager who was not in the store. Her response was to call customer service because she is not allowed to listen to a banker. The solution was to refer me to the department that told me to expect a refund! Unacceptable!!

I dont like reserving a truck online- you huys holding $1 then getting to the place and they ask for ALL my information to put in computer, like what was the point in making a reservation AND I had to swipe my card again....

When booking over the phone, Customer Service should inform the renter that the truck or van is doubled book and when to return the vehicle.
I was surprised to hear that from the agent that the truck was double booked and that I have 5 hours to move my stuff and return. To load a 15 ft truck, drive to a new located, off load and return to Uhaul in 5 hrs wasn't enough time. I had the truck from 7:30 to 2 pm and my friends and I were trying hard to meet this deadline.
The folks at the UHaul on Page are always prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I'm always on and put very quickly.
Staff was courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. It was a fast transaction adn fun learning experience. When I got home and looked at the bill I was surprised, so i called them and it turns out that I got a better deal than I had expected due to the mileage I was going to be using. Thank you for figuring that out and gining me that discount!

I had ordered straps that were not given to me when I rented the trailer the people behind the counter said they had no authority of knowing that I ordered them I set up the rental online payed the deposit on line tried to check in online but no luck the check in was not working I had to come back to the store a second time for the straps so all in all the rental went ok online service needs work and the people behind the counter need to be able to see what I reserved and have it ready
The customer service was beyond horrible and stressful. I always deal with U-haul but due to this last threatening experience I will never come back or refer anyone ever again.

The staff is not very friendly and don't seem to go out of their way to help you but they are efficient.
The location is great! Has any and everything you need for moving. I purchased a couple furniture pads and a flat screen TV box which worked out great. My only complaint is with the truck. I ordered a 26' truck (the largest offered). While it got the job done, it was quite old and felt like it was going to cut off each time I came to a stop. Guess that's to be expected though with a GMC with 187,000 miles on the OD.
I was supposed to pick the truck up at the Hazelwood location. When I got there I was informed that the truck was at the page location. It was very inconvenient to have to drive out of my way, when I specifally asked for the Hazelwood location.
I am very unhappy with the way my acount was was charged, before the rental as well as after. I don't appreciate my account being double charged.

The truck wasn't really swept clean when we received it. The A/C made a whining noise, at times. Staff were excellent: informative without being pushy.

Clean the truck windshield. Check the safety chain on the car hauler. Repair the car hauler lights before the rental.

The web site was often different than the actual dates I expected after talking with the representatives. Further, the 1-800 call center staff were largely unfamiliar with the u-box process. However, once the call center staff got frustrated and confused enough to send me to the local hub where the boxes were being shipped from, the staff there was tremendously helpful and knowledgeable.
So far its excellent, the guy Andrew was very helpful, nice and did an excellent job. The other guy at the return bay was rude and ignoring about my question.

Too make sure the trucks are serviced. Truck would not initially start, had a hard time getting it started.
Renting the storage container and hiring the Moving Helper was an excellent and affordable option I didn`t previously know about. It was a Godsend.
Total costs were more than expected - maybe work on estimates to give a high and a low potential price that shows what add ons will do to the bottom line instead of just the base price of the truck (gas tank volume + mpg, etc).
This U-Haul location was amazing. Very understanding and respectful. Also went out of their way to correct a mistake made by another location, which caused me to get charged for an extra day. I definitely plan to use this location again in the future.
Truck was externally dirty... and left on 1/4 tank of gas. However they didn't get it back until the night before and I needed it promptly at 9am when they opened so understood.
When I did return the truck, I had to wait 35 minutes for the gentleman to inspect it. they were very understaffed.
Responding to customers from the actual location would be more helpful than being transfered to a call center who does not help. No one from the location in Daytona returned my calls. My u-box was 3 days late. I was told by Keri (407-578-1344 that I would be entitled to $150 refund. I have been transfered around from several different offices and no one cares or answer the phones. This experience has caused a nightmare for the elderly person whose medical equipment was be shipped via U-haul. I also have been charged twice for the trailer. I would like to resolve these issues asap, please.
I am very unhappy. I had reservations for Sunday at 10am. They called me the day before and told me they didn't have anything ready till 4. Not only did the people that were going to help me did not because it was to late. It poored down rain and we were soaked. I am not happy with how things were done. Next time I will probably find a different company to go with. However the people that worked there were nice I am not happy with the overall experience.
Nothing I can think of. I have rented your trailers and trucks about twenty times. I have never had a problem with any of them.
Recommend to get rid of or upgrade old trailers, it doesn't look good for the Uhaul company.

I applied for a 4x8 trailer and was given 5x8 at the same price. That was ok. But I wanted more light trailler to pull easily with my small car.

Truck was in dangerous condition. Excessive play in steering. Over 3 inches of play at the wheel. Headlights did not work at night, but came on the next morning after driving it a short distance. Transmission shifting improperly throught driving range.
We have not received the box.
Drop off was easy and worry free. I dropped off the truck at the designated area and was on my way in less than 5 minutes while the fuel and mileage were checked.

I replied no to the equipment question because the passenger door was broken and inoperable from the outside. I was not told this before I drove away.

My main complaint is that in one of my early months, I was out of town and came in and paid my storage 4 days late, instead of the allowable 3 days and manager refused to refund the $15 late fee.
Everything was fine. I would like to have the time prorated. I moved out on 10/11 but was charged for the entire month. I don`t think that was fair. Please incorporate that service to customers.
Staff in Overland told me that my U-Box could be delivered to my new residence in Walla Walla, WA once I got an apartment. This was a lie. Now I`m stuck with a UBox 1 hour away and no way to get it
The u box was not delivered when they said it would be. Then they did not pick it up when they said they would and I had to call them 10 times before they came and picked it up.

Uhaul in general made my moving experience fantastic! Received a fantastic deal on storage until and the staff were excellent.
If I had not called to confirm on the day of delivery, my box would not have been delivered as my paperwork had gotten misplaced. Boxes were picked up 3 hours late.
The location called to remind me my U-boxes did not have locks and offered to put locks on the U-Boxes. Overall great customer service.
Assumed 4. Ended up with 6. STL Movers looked like they threw things in. Helena Movers passed us off to another who cost more. Move went well, but cost over $3500 more than quoted.

Excellent service facility! Only issue: Required a specific lock. You may buy it elsewhere, but if you don`t know until move in you are stuck buying theirs. Just wish that was more transparent.

We rented a climate controlunit, however when we went to get inside the security feature was down and we had to wait in the cold for 25 minute for the guy to fix it.
U Haul staff, particularly Angie, at Page Ave in St. Louis was very helpful and considerate.
I arrived at 9am or so and it took 6 hours for me to unload my truck and trailer. The computer wanted to charge me another day. The staff made sure that that did not happen. Thank you. Cheers.
Responsive staff. Furniture pads weren`t inside when it was delivered, but this was resolved quickly. My items haven`t shipped, so my overall experience remains to be seen.

Uhaul shipped my boxes to storage and I wasnt done packing it. The staff at Cave Springs was rude. Uhaul does not give a shit what the customers need. I need more than 200 characters to inform you.
Changed my truck pick up location without notifying me, almost didn`t get my free month of storage. Not happy with this company.
The scheduled pick up of the ubox`s were scheduled to be picked up at 1030 am but the boxes were not picked up until nearly 130pm. There was no communications on the time change on the pickup.
Staff was great to work with, this is a great way to move if you are not comfortable driving a truck yourself!

I was told that it would take about 10 days for my things to be delivered to the warehouse in Washington. they never shipped them until 11 days after they were picked up from my home in Missouri.

I have mixed feelings about my UBox. On the 2nd leg of the move, service by A. KUPEL 752024 was great. Service in St. Louis did not meet expectations I would appreciate talking to a rep about this.

They did not ship the boxes to the next address until I called the office for over a week. The estimated delivery date is just to the next U-haul site, not to the next address.

Huge mistake, unacceptable experience, should get my money back. Took 20 days and more than 2 weeks no one knew where my ubox was. Telling everyone not to use ubox service
charged more than expected! Customer service said no additional charge.No e-mails concerning charge. Order online reflected no change. Received bill AFTER delivery, charged an additional $160!
UBox was shipped on 6/11/2013, today is 6/24/2013, there is no news about our box. We called U-Haul and nobody knew where the UBox is. This is very bad, will not use U-Box again. Un-HAPPY Customer.

There was one issue, in that I had to return get my access card, the one initially give did not work, but the customer service rep. Did not return to the unit with the new one.

The cost was too high. Adding drop-off/delivery fees on top of the U-Box monthly fee, the total bill became quite expensive. We`ll likely never use the U-boxes again because of the high cost.
Very disappointed in the size of the units for the price I paid. Plus it does not mention anywhere on the website about additional delivery charges for dropping units off at the new location.
Wait time to have an employee unlock uhauls lock was over 30 minutes.

Dealing with Shana to schedule the delivery was a breeze. She did a really great job on the container drop off and scheduling the pickup.
They turned me away on a truck when they had one available. Didn`t even ask me if I was going one way.

Everything went well except the 10X20 storage on the bottom floor I reserved was damaged and I had to use two 8X8 units. But no big deal.
I was unable to manage my online account, late fees were given for no reason, and our `locked in` price for shipping changed to $300+ over what we were expecting.
The staff was very nice. It was very easy to pay my bill online and not have to worry about it. I have heard horror stories about other storage companies but this one was not like those at all.

Good experience. If the need arises, I will use again. Months rent came with a one-way rental, but monthly rental fee seems pretty high.

I had a storage unit with u-hall strait since 2/2005. 2/2005 till 6/2008 in Odenton, MD and 6/2008 till 9/2009 in Inwood, NY and never had problems. IN THIS LAST LOCATION THE SERVICE WAS BAD.

I had a storage room there for 2yrs the staff was always welcoming accommodating. The facility was always clean.
Matt was extremely helpful and friendly. My only complaint is the access is very narrow from the unloading dock and getting around the corner to the hall.

Service was great -- very accommodating since I had to change the size of the storage unit at the last minute.
The staff made accomodations for me on several occasions as I relocated to the area and returned the equipment.
I had only one issue when I went to arrange for the rental unit. I had reserved a first floor storage unit only to find when I arrived it had been rented to someone else. We worked it out.

I was told they had never had problems with break-ins or security at that location, which is very important to me.
When moving season starts.....due to size of your location more workers are needed so there wont be such a long wait for service
