I made a reservation and wrote down all the details. I was dropped off at the location so didn’t have a vehicle. The woman I spoke to when making the reservation told me they would accept a debit card for payment and that I would be able to rent a truck. Got to the location and the story changed. I was asked for a credit card which I do not carry with me. After some frantic phone calls on my part I decided to rent a moving van for which I was allowed to use my debit card. The rental was dirty and minus 1/4 tank of gasoline. The a/c didn’t work. I returned the rental with a full tank of gasoline and driving less than I had estimated. I was very frustrated at having to waste my time explaining my situation and dealing with being told different things.

My truck was not ready at the appointed time, the communication was not timely. U-Haul really let me down this time as its the first time I booked a truck from out of state and did not have the means to go to another site when the Truck is not available at the appointed location. Luckily the nice store keepers took pity on me, helped me book another truck and drove me to 5+ miles to pick up a truck. The Truck booked did not come with dolly I register for online and I was charge additional mileage without consideration of change in distance due to the new booking. I even asked for this when at the UHaul location and they told me to talk to someone when dropping off. The truck also had less gas that indicated and I had to go back in for them to update, but no new paper work was provided.

There are a few young gentleman that work at this location and they are so helpful and hardworking. The whole staff has such pride in what they do. The employee that processed my order was super friendly, he had a smile the whole time. I observed another staff member, he was working under the tarp. He kept himself busy with the cleaning of the trucks and trailers that were being dropped off. This is an excellent location with an Arco gas station right next to it. Thank you for the excellent service!

These types of open trailers NEED MORE TIE-DOWNS! The whole purpose of an open trailer is to transport goods. Obviously, in the open air, these goods need to be secured with straps. But there are only a couple of places to connect straps/hooks. This makes no sense. I rented a 5x8 trailer. For the most part, I had to improvise ways to attach my strapping to the trailer. I just don't understand U-Haul's thinking here.

I was disappointed with the customer service. I previously rented a pick up or van from U Haul and have always used my debit/credit card for payment. This time the agent would not allow me to use the card to settle the bill because the card said debit on it. I explained that it could be used either way but he refused. Thankfully I had another card. Is this a new policy? Second I am on oxygen and have a tank that I need to take with me when I am away from my house. After I completed the transaction the agent told me the vehicle I rented was at the end of the lot and could be picked up there. So I had to walk to where your driveway begins to get the pick up. It would have been better for your agent or someone to get the vehicle and bring it up to your office. It very obvious that I have somewhat of a handicap and some assistance would have been appreciated. Bottom line some customer service training needs to be taught. Respectfully, Robert Regnell

You can let the person know when they make the online reservation that the credit card they supply isn’t what is used when someone picks up the trailer. I reserved online for my sister to pick up and she had to pay with her card. We called and called and couldn’t get anyone to assist us.

I returned the equipment a couple of days early. There was no receipt that they received the equipment. I picked up 4 pm in Oceanside, CA 28FEB2024 and dropped off in Henderson, NV in the evening on 29FEB2024, but the receipt that was sent says I checked it in on a later date. (I had the equipment for a little more than 24 hours.)

They told me the truck was empty of fuel and I was headed to Costco less than 2 miles away. I figured I’d put fuel there. I ran out of fuel 1/2 there. I understand not wanting to pay for gas, but less than 2 miles worth is ridiculous. Yes, I could of put gas at the acro that shares the entrance but figured I’d have to be very unlucky to not be able to drive 1.5 miles give or take.

Allow the customer to actually select the make of rental. For example Chevy & ford are not one and the same cargo van wise. Chevy although more powerful is outdated and non efficient fuel wise also a cut should never receive a rental with zero fuel ⛽️ in it for several reasons. 1. It simply doesn’t even make sound business sense cause there is a good chance renter will not reach the pump before it start sucking fumes causing an unnecessary headache. 2. If you ppl knew anything in regards to fuel pump and the cost to replace you wouldn’t allow that to happen in the first place. It’s designed to pump fuel not air so with light on E! Is a recipe for disaster. 3. Renting out a vehicle with and empty tank literally, asking customer to basically fill it up at their own expense then upon return tell customer oh you brought it back way pass a 1/4 tank so we can’t reimburse you is ludicrous at best. Here’s why! You’ll charge a customer easily for not bringing back at the mark it was upon pick up at the national average which would be at best $2.00 or more a gallon no questions asked so why not match that if it’s over the mark? Better business is good business

Staff was good. Only problem that occurred is when I removed my car off of the tow Dolly in the inspection area. I removed the straps, removed the chain, pulled the ramps down, and followed the associates instructions to get in my car and reverse it off the ramp. The associate removed the dolly from the truck before I got my car off (all on camera) and the dolly slammed upward damaging my front bumper. I have a big scratch on the front left and an outward dent on the front right. My claim number is 03283580-2023 uhaul claim number

Personally, I would like to see your staff emphasize the importance of using the entry keycode to avoid setting off alarms. Regardless of business hours or "after hours" entry, in just 4-5 days of having my belongings stored in your facility, I heard the alarm sound approx. 10 times (& truthfully, it scared the crap outta me every time!). Otherwise, service & convenience were well-accomodated; the use of your multi-tiered offload area was especially helpful for me, unloading a 6x12 trailer & reloading a pick-up truck. Just wanna say thank you... staff was helpful & professional, and facilities were on-point. Kudos, & I wish everyone at U-haul a Happy Thanksgiving & blessed holiday season. Respectfully, Ry

The entrance and parking area is extremely cluttered with trucks so trying to find my way was not easy. Otherwise it was fairly easy to locate and access. The layout could be better and also less trucks to maneuver around.

I have had my storage unit for 15 years and we have never had a problem with anything here. It is very secure and is very clean. I love that when you come and go you always see a staff member around makes you feel safe when you are by yourself storing new stuff or getting something you need out of your unit. We were able to leave the things we no longer needed or the children who are now grown wanted that we kept (which was all their things as they grew) in the share area, so someone else could have and use the items if it was something they wanted or needed. We always got a reminder that our payment was coming up or a reminder beforehand that they were going to be taking our payment out of our account. So it was never a surprise or we didn't forget that we needed to pay the storage. Thank You all @Russell Road Uhaul Moving and Storage for the many years of service and making our belongings safe and secure and for a wonderful experience. We will always come back if we ever are in need of a Truck Rental or a Storage Unit again. Keep doing what you do You are all WONDERFUL.

I would like to Thank Danielle Shaw for an AWESOME customer service. She checked us in for the moving truck and checked us out for the storage space we rented. Everything went as smoothly as can be. She was courteous and professional. There was an issue when she was finalizing our truck as someone cancelled our truck reservation because of our out of state license. The Bathroom Was Nasty. People Used The Trash Can For A Toilet. The Toilet Seat Had Fences All Over It. There Was No Soap Or Paper Towels. I Alerted Staff Three Times About The Condition Of The Bathroom. I Had To Use The Bathroom Across The Way @ The Service Station! The Manager Yohan Is Rude & Overbearing. He's A Bully. And, Harassed Me About Parking My Car On The Lot, When A White Cadillac Has Been Parked There For 5 Days. He Harnessed Me About My Account Payments, When I Was Moving Out To Another Uhaul Facility In North Las Vegas, An Hour Away From The Stephanie & Russell Uhaul Site. THE BREAKS ON THE VAN MALFUNCTIONED! They Went All The Way Down When Pressing On Them. I Had To Stay 3-4 Car Lengths From Other Cars, So As Not To Hit Them. I originally wanted a storage to fit all my stuff after talking to one of the staff we settled on what I though was the right size .. I have 2 bedroom house .. I ended up with a 5by6 closet rich did not fit anything and was told that’s all that’s available .. I was not able to move all my stuff and had nowhere to put remaining items .. I got a truck also which now I need to pay for because it was. Late all other storages were close and o had no idea what else to do .. check in staff friendly manager did not care . Whole experience bad from the truck rental in which they sent me to another location to pick up .. they were great ! To storage I’m out of money and stressed.

I honestly can not think of any instance where I had a “real” problem and it was not resolved is the reason for the “excellent” rating. On several occasions, I have had to speak with representatives both in person and over the phone and they were always friendly and helpful—did I add I rented a unit there, 2 at one point, for years? I highly recommend this Uhaul location for equipment rental and storage.

This facility is amazing. I love that a lock was included in the unit for us! The loading dock made moving in much easier, as did the elevator and all the dollies. While the assistant manager I spoke to the evening of July 8th was very friendly and professional and confirmed my storage rental over the phone, when I went in the morning of the 9th the 2 female employees at the front desk stated I had no storage unit despite me being charged for it and refused to help. I was refused the service I paid for.

I was dissapointed that U-Haul does not pro rate the unit. I moved out early and still had 20 days left on my unit. I had this unit for 2 years and usually paid up 3 months in advance.. I called and texted with customer service to discover that I couldn't get my $66 back as the units aren't pro-rated like an apartment is. I would hesitate to recommend U-Haul for that reason. I would recommend that the customer find a space that does the pro-rating. My rent went up, which I found frustrating. I would have expected some kind of discount because I was a good customer that paid on time or in advance.

I chose average because I reserved this trailer for $14 a day. The reservation was moved to the Nellis location due to your convenience. I had to drive 30 minutes to get it, plus I had to pay $50.
