The person who greeted me was great. But he failed to tell me what "scratches" were on the truck, so that when I returned the vehicle, the guy there told me I scratched the truck. I DID NOT SCRATCH THE TRUCK.

This store had signage directing me where to pull in off the highway for returning the vehicle which I thought was very helpful. There was also signage that told me to wait with the vehicle and someone would come to me to check the vehicle in with me. That didn't happen. When the personnel from the store came out to assist another party who was returning a trailer I asked if he wanted me to wait with the vehicle and he asked if I was paying with a credit card and I said I was, he told me I was all set. There was a problem with the amount of time that I wanted the rental for and if I would have finalized the rental with the personnel at the drop point, I would have been able to explain to them what I signed up for. I was charged for not having the truck back when it was supposed to be back according to the contract. The problem was resolved later that evening with the charge removed from my credit card.
I will use this location for all my rentel needs thank you.
The amount of gas I had to put in, meant the truck was getting 2.5 mpg. Which is way too low. That size truck should be getting around 10mpg. I went 14.4 miles and it took $25/6 gallons to get the gauge needle back to where it was. Also the paper that printed out from your computer told me that I would have to put in 11 gallons. I should have only had to put in 1.5 gallons@10mpg. costing about $6. I feel a little robbed
Cheaper per milage rates would get you a ton of my business

this is a very busy location maybe a few more employees to the store would be an asset. it is time consuming with only 2 employees
Attendant mrt me in lot and had me on the road in 5 minutes.
I can only suggest giving coupons to frequent users to stir up more business.
Representative that helped us was very friendly and kind.

The customer service rep at the counter was very nice, and seemed to know what he was doing. Once we went out to the truck however the windshield was NOT de-iced. We had to go to our own vehicle and use our personal snow brush to properly scrape off the window. Also when attempting to refuel the vehicle the gas cap was impossible to remove. We had to go to our mechanic to have them loosen it with a wrench. Extremely inconvenient. This put us a few miles out of our way, and then I was charged for going over the mileage we had selected.
The staff working there were very rude. They all had nasty attitudes. Truck was broken and dirty as ever.
Great and very accomidating, with a difficult schedule. Jason the delivery guy, even offered to pick up on a saturday after a friday drop off. Thanks, we will use again...definitely recommend.
Why was I charged .63 for using a credit card??
Maybe go over the truck operation with the client prior to letting them take the vehicle. Remind them if they rent pads, they have to return them inside the plastic bags they originally came in.
I went on the website a day before I needed the u haul and you were out of every u haul truck except for the largest one which I only filled half and had to pay 87 dollars for a 40 mile trip then the back tired had 0 tred I was stuck in a drive way for 30 minutes
The newer employee for the UBox department was very personable and helpful and I received my UBox on time and in good condition!
I have been to this store several times over the past few weeks and I have always had excellent service.
When booking the truck, the person making the reservation did not help my wife select the correct truck.
When I showed up at the store, I had to track down an employee, because everyone was out on the dock drinking coffee and smoking.
Truck dimensions are misleading, as the little space above the cab is counted as additional length.
Andy was pleasant and very helpful. If we had picked a better weather day to move we wouldn't have any complaints, but the back tires weren't so could on slippery roads. No ones fault just letting you know. We always use U-Haul because of your service and how helpful all the staff are.

Roll up door on trailer was very hard to open. I was either misaligned or rusty. The inside of the trailer smelled like fuel oil.
I rented an enclosed 6' x 12' trailer. Upon leaving the counter, I was instructed to have it returned by 7am the next morning. I said, "but is almost 8am now, why 7am"? He replied that my appointment was for 7am so it must be returned by then. I was there at 7:15am but it took the guy almost 40 minutes to rent it to me, even with a reservation! Upon my return, I had 4 pieces of twine tied to the horizontal slats on the walls. I was told to remove them or that they (UHAUL) would charge me to remove them. I removed 2, but without a knife the other two needed to be cut by them. The manager took a bic lighter and burnt them instead of cutting them, which worked fine. Total time to do this was 20 seconds. So for something that required way under a minute, UHAUL was going to charge me????? What ever happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE????? Rude clowns run this place.
Ordered the equipment online the previous day, check in was fast. Truck was clean and in good shape. Check out was also very fast and I could be on my way within minutes.
When a customer is told if they pay in cash they will recieve a cash refund ensure that this happens as this was not the case for me. I was told that if i pay in cash when i returned the truck i would recieve cash back and not have to wait for the refund to post to my card. Unfortunatley i was extremly upset that when i returned the truck under their conditions, clean, etc. i did not recieve a cash refund i recieved a credit to my card. Upon speaking with the manager of the location i was told that there was nothing they could diand i just had to wait for the refund onto my card.
Everything was smooth uhaul people were friendly and advised me of all that I needed to be aware of re policies for use and return of truck. They did their job well and professionally

Loved the convenience of checking out without leaving the vehicle. Additional mileage charge was handled with ease.
box was a week late, was not able to get an answer about whether my box was there or not. regional ubox manager kyla swain was rude on the phone.
first the gas cap was missing from the truck. then i was told that if i gave a cash deposit that i could pick up the deference from the rental the next day. when i got there they told me they mailed a check to me. if i would have known that i would have used a credit card. also unknown to me they had changed who name the rent was in to the person i had drive the truck so now i have a check that i cant cash.
The quality of the truck was suspect as we had all kinds of issues with the braking systems and power steering. The sounds the truck made were unlike any I have heard. The Branch Manager offered apologies and helped out with the situation. I would recommend this U-Haul location and the employee on duty was very helpful and even called me when I was running late that morning.
The U-Box was reasonable in price and the U-haul staff was helpful in answering my questions. Only thing, I was not notified ahead of time that I needed a lock for the U-Box upon departure
Reason for not recommending was experience at other end of move. People in Depew were professional, and very accommodating to needs. Would not hesitate to use their services again.

the staff were rude on the phone. checking out guy was ok. no one at the facility knew what was going on. I went into the store and no one was there.Not a clean and dry environment.
Excellent so far-boxes scheduled for final delivery tomorrow-3 days ahead of schedule! Staff: awesome. Boxes: great. Need more tie down hooks on the top/bottom/back. 4 hooks on sides: not very useful.
I thought the staff was lukewarm in their customer service approach.
There were some mistakes about my bills, probably because I was moving internationally and the service was not geared for this. Otherwise, no problems at all and I would certainly recommend it.

People at the facility were nice, reservation got screwed up from the beginning and the room I was supposed to have wasn`t available. For a bit more $ I got what I needed at a competitor.
The associate delivering the uboxes was great!She called before delivery, on time, friendly, got the boxes unloaded quickly.
The only issue I have with Uhaul storage is that it is not prorated if you move out early. I will use other facilities for this reason.
The Buffalo location was timely in their delivery and communicative about when they would be able to pick it up. Although the delivery for shipping was delayed an extra day due to them being booked.
I see that I was charged for my first month when it was supposed to be free???
I am disappointed with the customer service, I was never told that I may not know when someone can come back to pick up and ship the box or I would have scheduled it differently.
Judy was outstanding, she was very helpful and patient, especially considering our crazy neighbors. I would definitely use UHaul again because of her.

We stored our RV there securely and at a very decent rate.
There is a damaged fence next to the gate entry for the storage units. Anyone could walk in and out, which is enough for a determined thief. Otherwise, an overall good experience!
I drove all the way there to get my ubox and I had to wait an hour for.someone.to bring it off the forklift. Horrible. Never using uhaul again.
I would not recommend U-Box due to difficulty with the store on the other end. This store was great - timely, very helpful, friendly. Judy was very nice, and even delivered my box on Saturday!

u-haul on main street was very rude and hung up stating my dolly was not there but the transit u-haul was proffessional correcting mistakes made. not recommend or use u-haul on main street.

Our overall experience was great! The only issue was the amount of dirt in our hallway/unit for the indoor storage facility. Never clean or swept!

I reserved on Tues on Thurs I asked for hall key for the first time I’m told $10/mo for 24 hr access. I cancelled, went to Uncle Bobs down the street and paid MORE but helpful staff 24 hr access.
Not friendly-didn’t feel welcomed. Still not sure how to open the hallway door when I go there after hours. Was told no bays available but when I told him I booked online he said he had two left.
one box had a door that was not lined up properly. Had to move lock latch to lock box. Otherwise everything was excellent!
The Owner/Operator of the Pick Up location was very courteous and friendly. He assisted me very well with the pick up and pay process.
2d box had a broken latch. The women delivering the boxes in were fantastic. The move was nearly perfect. Use of your blankets was a great help. Definitely recommend this mode of movement. Thank you
Was told it would be delivered to my house, then told it couldn`t be and was told I could rent a trailer and then told I could not due to highway driving. Had to rent a 10ft truck. HUGE inconvenience.

one negative thing we experienced was the gate leading to the storage area was frequently broken. we had to go into the store, show our license and pick up a remote. Everything else was great!
Very good service - Judy was excellent and set the box up on a semi-hilly driveway perfectly!!!
Only Problem I had was the latch for using a padlock broke off the box. It would have been a simple fix but I didn`t need it at the time anyway.

Easy service. Lots of confusion with staff around UBox, but much better during second visit. Should rethink staffing for high traffic times. Waited in line for over 15 minutes both times.

Storage unit when moved in was filthy and I was handed a broom to sweep it out by employee.

The door to the D units was very difficult to open and close as it contactd the jamb. If it were not for that, the excelent box would be checked.
The facility seemed relatively safe. However, there was a hole in the ceiling of the storage compartment assigned to me.
Storage Facility was very dirty, had to ask employee for broom to sweep out dirt and other debris, and I swept out the facility not the employee. Terrible experience!

It was incredibly difficult to get ahold of anyone and I wasn`t told that my uBox wouldn`t be shipped until after the holiday weekend despite being picked up on a Saturday, but
I will never do business with U-haul again. Still waiting for promised refund.
Aside from a sticky/needing adjustment door to the storage unit common area D, everthing was great. Clean unit, great staff, and fair prices.

Excellent unit - clean, secure, temp humidity controlled! Only prob was being double billed 1 month and taking many months to get that straightened out. Store staff were extremely helpful.
Within 20 min. I had placed a lock on my storage compartment, quick and efficient. When one staff member did not know the answer to a question another one did, good teamwork.
Facilities were good and convenient.
I purchased a lock upon check in and when the lock proved to be faulty, it was exchanged without a problem.
Hours not convenient for unloading. End of day staff not willing to rent another unit. Early in day staff helpful and units well kept. Units not as big as advertised for house square footage.
