johnetta McNeillUnit rented appears to need transmission work. Hard shifting, and there is, I guess the best way to describe it is as a bump. When driving the truck "bucks". Hard to explain. But makes you move forward and back in your seat, almost like a bucking horse.

I think the guy assumed I would figure it out when I got the text message because the online check/in process is very easy. The problem is that I had my phone in my pocket, and the pickup location was at a noisy intersection, so I never heard my phone when I received the text message. If I at least had been told that I was going to receive a text message, I would’ve known to check my phone.

robert jungbergMy reservation was moved to a location 20 miles away which I was not told about. I had to get a smaller truck because my reservation got moved, even though there were trucks of the size i reserved in the lot. You can't just pick and choose what customer gets screwed. Because of this i has to make 2 trips. I was offered a 10 cent discount on miles. Absolutely awful and I will never work with uhaul again

PAULLEROY SPANNI went over 4 miles and was charged. I drove the truck from Liverpool hardware to my old house then exact location and to drop off. I was charged extra because they calculated the miles. Never again.
Edwin SanchezI use Uhaul at least 5-6 a year for business, i own a dance studio in the Lehigh Valley and depend on moving our props to specific venues. This past Saturday I had reserved a 15' cube van from the Livingston St location in Allentown 18109. I will usually use this location because the Mgr at this location really runs a great operation. This past Saturday not so much. I have lost my confidence in this location.and Uhaul. My scheduled appointment time was 12 noon. I checked in to my app at around 1140 and sent pictures of my license back and front and put my Birthdate in and thought I was ready to go. I drove to the Allentown location and was told my truck was given away because I was late to my appointment. I then said but I checked in. They went on to say they didnt see me checked in, they also said they tried calling me and I didnt answer. After a few minutes of giving the poor Uhaul Associate a piece of my mind I asked for the awesome Mgr that has always taken good care of me.. He was on lunch.. i was eventually told they were having system issues. To make matters worse i had to drive 20 minutes to another location and i was an hour late to my venue. Thank you Uhaul I now have my next 3 reservations with Penske who has 16' box trucks and they are less money. I am more than available if someone wants to take this matter and review it with me. Lets see how bad you would like my business back. Reservation 70700241.

Upon returning my truck, which was dirty when I received it and smelled horrible, I had 2 pallets that I was charged $25 to dispose of, even though the manager admitted that pallets are taken away at no charge to the company. I don't plan on returning to UHaul. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I tried to secure one when I made the original reservation. And also to try to get one. When the truck was picked up and there were none available. You should have more of those for people to rent
Melanie WrightWent cross country with a family of 4 and a few pets would of been great to have a 4 door crew cab so we could of towed a car instead of putting gas in 2 vehicles. Gas mileage from Pa. to Wy. was horrible we got around 5 miles per gallon and the load wasn't that heavy and I traveled around 50 mph on route 80 where the limit is 75mph and 80mpg. Miserable, uncomfortable and expensive. Would have been better off hiring a moving company.

Also there should be a big enough dumpster for people to throw things out without being told the dumpster is too full. Other than those 2 things, no problems

There was one time I was denied access by the system even though I was told I had 24 hr access. It was inconvenient because I had a trailer load of things for the storage and I had to take it back home. I went back during business hours and the manager said I wasn't on 24hr access so he made a few clicks and made it so. They are daily checking the lockers and found that I didn't slide the latch over so it wasn't really locked. They put a bracket and a lock on to secure my locker until I came back. The storage business is booming and Uhaul is at the top of the game with competitive prices. All in all it was a great experience.

I went to U-Haul to get an outdoor storage, when I asked the store associate if the storage unit they had was outside he said yes , when asked if a small trailer can be put inside he said as long as it fits you can store it . When we got the card and went looking for the storage we couldn't find it outside . By this time the store associate left for the day , and another store associate had to help us find the storage that was inside the storage facility! Waste of time and money , I would have never left my other storage unit for this one . The guy who helped us was very careless and wasted our time !

I live out of state so it’s hard for me to just drive there to speak with someone. I recently filed a claim and the employees have limited experience and knowledge regarding procedures and whether I needed to keep my storage unit open. I’m also trying to track down my adjusted at Rep West which has only been time consuming. I have reported my concerns to the front office this week and hoping to have a resolution very soon.

They could have at least give me a discount since they didn't contact me to tell me in advance I wasn't going to get my storage unit.

Often times they were more interested in being on their phone then actually helping people.
