Get more employees that want to actually help the customers there was an employee there by the name of Alvin who did not want to help he left me standing for a while like he did not see me after he had been told over the radio to go out and help me when he did come out to help you he acted like he did not have time and he really did not want to so I left and went to another u-haul.

I hate your call centers. I spoke to Kisha initially that totally messed up my order. Then call back to speak to another lady who did worst..Finally spoke to Christian. Who apoarently did worst. I confirmed my email address and phone numbers and it was incorrect when I went to. Pick my truck.
After being ask to soeak to a supervisor I spoke to Theresa which wasted my time to have me repeat my problem to the 5th customer setvicr rep. I wrnt into to stores thay did not have the truck I requested. Kept referring me to traffic dept. Teresa would not let me talk to a supervisor said aftet 20 min her mananger said put a complaint on line..
I called 11020 store talked to manager who could not get the 26 foot truck but said sh would discount a 24 truck..I appreciate her help very professional..however I needed 26 inch. She gave me call centet where I will receive a $50 credit. Which is good..however I wrnt online. Made my own reservation to Inglewood. Store brsy store brst customer service.
Teresa and her manager were terrible. I said maybe I will go to Penkse next time..She made no attempt to satisy my complaint or resolve my equipment issues.
The worst. UHaul experience vetbally. Why have a call center the xannit take ordets or solve problems
Customer service means compensation for over 5 mistakes no one ever called me back because 3 people could not write down my contact info correct if they said the did they lie..I reoeated myself and numbers clearly and slowly..Please check your recordings.

do your walk around marks in RED then everyone sees the mark, other then that it would been nice if truck was at least rinsed but thaks cor ur services

They charge me for 5.3 gals of fuel the truck only went a total of 22 miles altogether how could it have used that much fuel they charge me to fill up the truck
I would say don't have dolly be reservable if the are first come first served and might not be available.
More courteous people working with customers. The lady at the front desk was incredibly nice, however the 2 gentlemen working outside at the pick-up area were rude and not helpful. If they are working customer service, they need to show that they know how to do that. I worked customer service for several years, so I know you are not always happy to see a person walk through, but you pretend and at least use your manners.
The person who checked us out at the truck was rude and argumentative! Sales person inside didn't do a good job of explaining insurance options. Staff not particularly friendly or engaging!
I use your services all the time and the Inglewood location has a wonderful staff very accommodating and I appreciate that.
The price was too high. I rented a small truck for $19.99 and with taxes and fees it was close to $30...too much for 1hr. Never again...
The Gas guage was incredibly off. It read empty all day. At the end of the day, I didn't know how much gas to put in ! Also had starting problems..
The young lady Who helped me was really not a nice person and she needs some classes to help her learn how to work with your customers . That is really something that you need to look at .

better direction with getting to the truck. have somebody waiting outside the door to get the keys from you, and tell you where to wait.
There was only one person working behind the counter at time of pick up and return. Although they where very nice I feel more workers where needed. I imagine that the weekends are busy and more staff would be help.

when checking back in, around 6 pm, underdstafted, had to wait about 10 minutes to check the truck back in, and then another 20 minutes at the front desk, only two people there in the evening.

I rented a 4'8 trailer to move from Los Angeles to Atlanta. Upon arrival in Georgia, the U-Haul representative informed me that the trailer was not mounted properly and was close to being unsecured; one bad hole or speed bump would have dislodged! Great customer service at the drop-off location...not so much at the pick up location.
To have non smoking trucks. The old cigarette buds were in ash tray!
Staff talking to each other had to wait a few minutes.
Was told that servers where down and could not process my return, She stated she would not charge for second day since returned with-in 24 hrs. She did not give any type of recite, so had to call the Vegas site to advise that I had returned trailer. Email does not indicate any discount. Not a good experience.
I had requested a pack of 1 dozen furniture pads, only 6 were located in the truck for me to use. Upon returning vehicle and letting the Uhaul Rep know she said she would credit me $5 and then said that they did not have my request listed down at all "So you get free pads"...yet she misses that point that I was still inconvenienced by having less pads then requested and needed to use my own comforters and sheets to cover furniture.
Your store lied to me on recorded lines twice, displayed the worst organizational skills I have encountered, and flat out ignored me for weeks, then when I point it out to you for the sixth time, literally, you send me a bill for 800 dollars. This store is a cold sore on the lips of uhaul, and should be closed down.
Had to wait 30 minutes due to only one employee on duty. Received the truck with 42 miles to empty. Returned truck with 60 plus miles to empty and got charged a fuel fee! I would like a call from the owner of this facility. There is a sign stating Right Equipment, Right Location, Right on time as agreed or You Get $50.00. I did not receive my truck on time. "I Guarantee It" Rick Hernandez. Very poor customer service and very poor for charging a fuel fee when I returned it with more mileage to empty than received!
Poor customer service while checking in - there was a line of over 15 in line
The agent, Alvin was absolutely wonderful! Kind, knowledgeable and patient with this senior citizen. He took the time to ensure that the 2nd truck that replaced the first one that would not start with one that would.
Although the first truck would not start and I was given another truck with major issues, I was able to make the move.
Please, at least, clean the vehicles for use.
The worst experience I have ever had at a uhaul. Will never use uhaul again.
Worst experience in my 40 year renting U haul. Truck was not check out very difficult to drive.Told empollyee they did nothing. Going to call Discover Card and request not to pay.
Try not to send customer to location farther away from preferred pick-up location.
The service was okay. I've never seen an associate eat a sandwich while working with a customer. I would never want my staff to disrespect any customers! Plus on the phone telling her friend what type of sandwich she made...customer service is going down! (07-18-2015) this is the date I picked up the truck. Around noon I was told u haul only had 29 dollar truck and I noticed when I returned the same 19 dollar trucks were still there. I felt cheated and lied to. Also, the truck smelled very bad! Like trash and a smoker house mixed together!
Be honest while doing business. Being dishonest like that is not fair to me .I make my own choices .why only because I'm the one paying

the customer service reps should be in communication with the actual office of pickup. I had a 9:30am pickup and arrived at 9:10am and was told that I could not pick up the truck until 12:30pm and my movers were scheduled to be at my home at 10:30am, however, the customer service rep did make it happen and I did get my truck which now meant the person coming in after me would have pick up issues. Better communication between the two entities should be more astute.
Because of my experience I have already recommended this UHAUL Location for this coming week. It good

The cashier needs help, she was alone with 5 people waiting...
The rep (Yolanda) lied in front of her mgr and my husband when he returned the truck (grandma's attic damaged) saying she went through insurance options with me when I picked up the truck. THERE WAS NO DISCUSSION OF INSURANCE, PERIOD. I reserved the truck online and opted for insurance, and no one told me different insurance options when I picked up the truck. Turns out the insurance I opted for doesn't cover the damaged part. Had I known that, I would've paid few extra bucks for full coverage.
I might have ignored fine prints for insurance options, but what really infuriates me is that she flat-out lied what she did or didn't do!!!
clerk did not inform me of the $5/gallon gas charge.

Almost gave me a truck with a slashed tire.
Truck I did receive had no gas and poor transmission.
Promised a credit if I filled truck with gas but so far they have failed to correct the invoice.
I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone in their office in a week to discuss invoice issue. Messages and emails have not been returned.
If the truck size that I reserve is unavailable, a courtesy call to the customer informing me ahead of time would have been great. I had to make multiple trips due to the reduction in truck space.
I would expect a full tank of gas, especially for long trip like I had and clean windows and mirrors. They were very dirty. Counter help was very courteous and efficient.
The 964 S LA BREA INGLEWOOD CAL location was great ..( ( BUT )) trying to locate a location with the trailer I wanted to pick up and drop off in differant locations was nothing but a pain in the ass .. picking up was o/k but droping off , they wanted me to drop off in a location way out of my way . U HAUL DONT care . Over all as fare as U HAUL I well try to use another rental company next time . .. The U HAUL location at 964 s LA BREA INGLEWOOD CAL they all were GREAT THANK YOU As a *** WHOLE *** COMPANY .. U HAUL sucks and needs to be more like this one location
Time to retire the truck I rented—felt like it was going to fall apart.
The location gave my reservation away to another person the day before I was scheduled to pick up. It took them an hour to settle everything and finally provide me with a truck. When I got the truck, the gas gauge was faulty.
Very busy but everything worked out well.

This was the third place I had to try to return my truck- the first two places were both rude and explained that they were full and could not accommodate me. The first place ( on century blvd in Los Angeles) was dirty, I was not met by anyone and was told to just make a u-turn on a busy road and go up two miles to another uhaul. He was rude and not at all helpful- I will never use uhaul again.
Its not necessarily this inglewood location that let me down. The staffs here are great and the owner is nice. But the whole process of it was just bad experience... i originally booked online for uhaul in santa monica (on lincoln st or something) when i got there, they told me that they dont have a 1 way carrying truck for me and that i was transfered to this inglewood location to get the truck (i saw more than plenty 10ft and 15ft trucks outside this store) when i asked why i wasnt notified, the lady just said "i dont know. They shouldve notified you". Then when i dropped it of at my stated location, they guy said that i was 14 miles over my limit. I was like i just took the truck from inglewood to san gabriel as stated. I didnt make any detour or anything. I wasnt charged for it.... but id be more than pissed if i was... For $156, that sure was a very expensive and unpleasant experience.
Customer service was good. No problems. I would use them again and recommend to others.
This location does not have honest people working we have rented from them twice now and both time been tricked with having less gas in the tank. We will never use this location again.
My truck's fuel gage was off and I informed the office to discuss compensation and never got a call back from a manager when I followed up when I finished my ride.
I reserved a certain size U-Haul trailer to take a group camping. I was told that that size would be available. It was not. The result was a u-haul half full with all the continents moving around and extra expenses for these high school students from the inner city in gas....towing weight
Mage sure your trucks have fuel and are not on Empty for pick up!

Everything was good except the rep helping me named Jackie, she was rude and seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. Horrible attitude and customer service skills totally non pleasant attitude.
Everything end smoothly, but there was some confusion at the return process. We were told to wait inside then told to wait by the truck. Overall, it went well.
MAKE THE COST FOR ANOTHER LOCATION DROP OFF LESS EXPENSIVE
I answered the equipment cleanliness questions as 'N/A", so that I can explain... The truck was badly beat up on the outside; however, the truck was clean inside.
The staff attitude was very bad.
They make it seems like they are helping you, but they are not, Rick, could not have given me the bad truck.
They act if they are helping me, but they was laughing at me with the bad truck.
I called a week before the rental date, they had enough time to card without telling me they took out $82.00 on the card. This location is the worst pace, I will never go back there again.

Fantastic customer service.
Based on my experience I would expect a full refund. I was given a credit of $30, which does very little to make up for the fact that the truck had a faulty gas gauge and so the truck broke down on the side of the freeway. We had to walk to a gas station and fill water bottles with gasoline just to get the truck to run even though the gas gauge displays that there is a quarter of a tank. This delayed my day by an hour and a half and was extremely stressful. Upon relying this to the assistant manager of the location I was told that all she could do is give me a partial discount or I would be forced to pay the full amount and take additional time out of my day the following day to submit a formal complaint with the hope that it would eventually be resolved. I have rented with uhaul before and this was the first time that I was charged mileage fees despite the fact that this trip was the shortest distance of all my previous moves. I will be sure to remember this experience the next time I move. It is clear that customers, even repeat customers, are not valued.
I pulled up the guy checking the uhaul was polite quick and i was checked out in less then 20mins
The truck was usable and fine but there was graffiti and a big hole in the front bumper but the staff was AMAZING

My Experience was GREAT!!! I received an upgrade in Truck size for same price. Outside Movers were Fantastic. Got me out of my apt and into my storage unit in a Flash! Shout out to Country Movers!!
The employees at this location have great costumer service and the process was flawless. My only reservation is that I feel the odometers (mileage) on the trucks are rigged to count more miles than one actually drives. This happened at 2 different locations.
Customer Service is not the best at this location! Trucks had dents and broken mirrors also.
Drop off went without a hitch. Very pleased with the expediency in which our drop off was handled. Without hesitation we would use U-Haul for any of our moving/hauling needs in the future.

When a customer such as myself confirms their information online the checkout process should be much quicker. Instead it doesn't seem to make a difference since once you get to the store to checkout you still have to go through the entire process all over again.
The front counter staff are amazing!
I reserved a trailer online for a one way trip. When I showed up to pick it up no such trailer was available. The manager found me a roundtrip trailer, luckily. Unfortunately I would have to drive it to my destination and back, but it beat having no trailer. He agreed to only charge me as much as the 2 day one way rental would have been. He was very helpful. This was the second consecutive time that Uhaul messed up my reservation.
I brought the trailer home and realized that it was locked and no one gave me a key. I had to drive back to the location to get the key. When I returned the trailer I was charged for 4 days instead of the 2 days I was quoted. Granted, I did keep the trailer an extra 12 hours, but if I had been given the one way trailer I had requested I would have only paid for 2 days. Overall, the trailer seemed old and in below average condition.
If I can avoid using Uhaul in the future I will definitely do so.
Customer service is bad. We have taken uhaul for the first time and didn't fill up the fuel while returning as no one told us while picking the vehicle. They charged me $30 extra as fuel fill up charges , didn't refund me that amount as new inexperience customers.
The staff was all really friendly and helpful. Got me in and out super fast and was able to leave my car onsite for the move.

My order with corporate was screwed up a couple times -- I had an email that said Wed -- the confirmation said Thursday -- got it taken care of (I thought)... went in to store and told it was Thursday -- after some convincing I was able to get the truck on Wednesday. Maybe not a store problem -- a corporate problem -- but a kinder approach at the store might have been in order

I paid haul, took my items out and U-haul will not give me my money back after renting 16 months. I will tell everyone not to go here until I`m satisfied

My cedit card was charged for a payment without my authorization that`s why Uhaul lost my business.

Just like this 200 character limit, I found the service frustrating and confusing. The staff was nice, but didn`t have the tools to make the process smooth. Multiple phone calls and confusion.
The facility was secure however the lights kept going off. I wouldn`t recommend Uhaul because the price is too expensive.
STAFF provided us with outstanding service. PRODUCTS were exceptional value. STORE was well organized very clean, especially the restroom.
Box lost. Found but caused emotional distress, shed tears over items thought lost forever, trouble to flag credit for fraud, $410 for move to 2nd storage facility due to loss of faith.
After being taken to see the unit we dicovered that the unit was not avalable they called Glendale and found me a larger unit.

Movinghelp where the best movers I have ever worked with. I liked that their service was a flat rate not based on time. All of my things where in mint condition upon being shipped from AZ to CA.

It took months for me to get access to my box. When I finally was told that I could get it asked to, it was not ready when I arrived. Now it`s been moved without my permission or substantial notice.

We had a very positive u-box experience. The delivery was actually much quicker than I expected.
Good service. Competitive price. The trailer if bringing U-Box home yourself is difficult to back into driveways. Perhaps a video demonstrating the best way to do this will help first-timers.
The card swipe access was out of order and had to notify staff to have an attendant open the building... somewhat inconvenient.

I made it clear that I would only have it in storage for a week or two. But it stayed in Inglewood for 2 1/2 weeks. It arrived 15 business days after payment.
U-Boxes were suppose to picked up two days ago, now they are sitting outside my house and the store won`t call me back to setup pickup.
Was shipped a full week later than agreed.
Mgmt should contact me. I got NO help unhitching car, didnt get reserved unit size/spot, no24hr access. Employees clocked out early complained, access door locked as we unloaded.
The perfect solution for a recent college graduate. The storage option works well for the bulk of her stuff until she finds a job somewhere. Gotta love flexibility!

My experience at Uhaul was great . All were friendly and extremely helpful with all my needs moving in and out . I would recommend this facility to anyone.
It was not my first location choice but it worked out. I did not appreciate all the helpers non-U-Haul workers just sitting outside asking if you needed help unloading.

Although my U-Box delivery man arrived 2 hours late, all of the U-Haul personnel were very helpful and friendly. My stored items incurred damages, but I suppose some damages are to be expected.
Unit access hours need to be extended
I ordered two u boxes and the second box was split where the bolts were inserted. It only had one bolt on the door . I just hope everything is secure. Other than that they were great!!

I only visited the office twice and both times the staff was very friendly and answered any questions or concerns I might of had.
door frames on 2nd floor do not reach the floor and makes it very hard to pull a dolly over into the storage area to place any heavy items and there is no elevator for the 2nd floor.

I maid two payments in August for my storage space. Your customer service rep states no second payment was made. I could never get this resolved so I moved to another storage space.
the access hours should be extended for emergency situations or for people that have to work late. the storage units are too small
There was what looked like used toilet paper at the entrance of the facility. I came back the following day and the mess was still there. Other than that my experience was good.

24 Hour Access wasn`t working
It was an OK experience. I had to manage the process very carefully and check up on things at every step of the way...if I didn`t do this, I would guess I wouldn`t have had such a good experience.
Storage can be great but if you can`t access your stuff it`s not worth it. Horrible access hours and the 24 hour access doesn`t work.

I had to unhook the u-box from my car, myself, because the uhaul rep. had not been trained. The rep. then told me I was `dope as h***` before asking me for my phone number for personal reasons.
leilanie was disinterested, didnt greet us, and i had to request a copy of my rental agreement, since she wasnt going to give me one, and was texting on her cell phone while helping me!!
I did not pay for a rodent infested unit that damaged and destroyed many of my possessions but that`s exactly what I got. I`m still shocked by the entire negative experience!

The storage facility was clean. I would liked to have lighting inside of the unit. It was inconvenient that the facility closes at 7. It is difficult to access my unit after work.

The return area was very busy but they took care of me right away and over all it worked out well.
storage rooms were dirty and had roaches. staff was obnotious. one rep helping customers inside. everyone else was outside helping customers with equipement. Need more help inside.
Counter reps were really poor. They made customers wait unnecessarily.
The place and crew is nice but VERY understaffed. It took 45 min to unload a trailer but a total of 2 1/2 hours to deal with the paperwork, and wait to get checked out. Hire more people!!!
Staff always extremely helpful,nice and go the extra mile to assist. The one month free has helped me so much. GREAT feature! Price is the most reasonable. Thank you, Uhaul is the best!
The Hawthone location has the best manager...he is very fair and concern about the people who go there for service.

It was a very good experience, it took a little longer than expected but it`s understandable because they were very busy. Jose and Tony were a huge help.

THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS THE PRICE FOR THE SMALL STORAGE ROOM. IT WAS TOO EXPENSIVE.

Consider changing the entrance of the storage that sits on the corner of Arbor Vitae and LaBrea.
I purchased a double roll of packing tape. Both rolls failed. Tape was defective. U-Haul reps would not refund my money because I had opened the package. Absolutely stupid. I left without my refund.
