This location is fabulous. Right next to the QT. Because I have filled up my RV propane here and had some hitch work done, Aaron, the GM, showed me his brand new covered RV storage he just finished out back. I will be moving in there next month.
Read my above comment and figure it out. All I kno is Uhaul has giving our a very bad and stressful trip with little to no help along the way until their truck broke down. Then it was slow coming after I'd requested help for a day and was told. "It's inconvenient now to send a repair guy as he's 60 miles away" I told them to send someone to fix it the first night we stayed with family in Virginny.
What does Uhaul plan to do to make this right???
It took over 10 minutes for someone to finally appear behind the counter, before that the store was empty. The equipment was poorly maintained when it was returned staff even knew there were existing issues. On a rental like this where there was a reservation I do not understand why I would not have a trailer that was an acceptable mechanical condition.
This is 1 of the most cleanest locations I've ever rented from . They had my truck waiting for me and had me out within minutes . Tyler check everything on the truck to make sure it was up to standards putting in air in tires that was slightly off . Best service received. Keep up the great job and look forward to renting from them again
Drop off times, hours and days open for the location you are being sent to should be clear. I had two different quotes for being late due to lack of information and I did not know that the location was open on Sundays. That would have been very helpful, since dropping it off Sunday would have made the trip easier! I was also quoted a 20 dollar fee on the phone but was charged $30.80 at the location. More accurate info would be great!
Improve on check out time. Didn't see anyone when I arrived for close to 7 minutes
Your associate was very courteous, helpful, and explained all to me very well. This was my first storage rental and I had questions which he kindly answered.

Rude, Judgemental & Liars, when I rented the truck Garrick kept suggesting that I go to another center, even after I said I was comfortable and liked this location....smh! Made me feel my business wasn't wanted, also one lied stating he called me but he hadnt!
As far as I can tell, this store runs like a well oiled machine. The GM Aaron is definitely on top of things.
This location will always have my business.

The man who helped us at this location was wonderful. I don't have his name but he said he had recently be transferred there and might have been the manager. Very helpful, smart and friendly. Great employee you have there. Give him a raise.
We went 20 mikes out of our way because we wanted a 15' truck. We got stuck with a 20' truck. If we knew our only option was that we would have stayed with the location near our home.

Seemed a little high in price for returning the vehicle within 2 hours with only 15 miles. I believe we have received better rates from this location in the past.

The truck I received was very old, the brakes squealed, and every time I had to stop, I was worried I would hit the car in front of me or lose control because of the shaking when I applied the brakes. Also, it was insane how much I bounced around even on the smallest bump in the road. My co-workers (males and females) laughed and called it a death trap.
Would have given better rating, except they over-charged me 5 miles. Very disappointing since they made me read out the meter at the start of the rental, and handed me a hand-written note with the meter value on it.
It is not a lot of $$, just small enough so you don't want to bother calling in and complain, but it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I walk away wondering if this is a practice for Uhaul company-wide, or just for this branch.

I will admit that U-Haul's local policy caught me off guard with higher accessories costs (blankets and dolly) as well as much less time--and no way to extend the time by myself to get more time.(?) Having said that, my experience with this location and its personnel was very positive. Tyler and Howard were excellent to work with. U-Haul policy should allow for better local terms--more like its one-way rentals.
Good to see familiar faces again. Tyler was very prompt and professional again. The drop off was trouble free as in the past at this same location. I would not hesitate to rent or return at this location in the future.
They had a completely empty parking lot. They told me after I rented truck that if I was leaving my car for the few hours, I had to park in back or I couldn't leave car. Secondly it seems like this location is trying to take advantage of anyone not buying your insurance. They even went as far as hitting all the tires with a hammer. Then proceeded to do a 500 point check on the vehicle. Poor customer service at his location. I will never return and highly recommend know one uses this location. I regret not driving a few more miles to my intended location.

Truck ran very rough and was hard to start. They quote a $39 a day rate but have lots of "gotchas". I drove less than 50 miles and paid $40 in fuel service charges and $50 in mileage charges. Had a problem with my bill and called their "customer care" department who took all my information, promised to get back to me in 3 days and never did.
Great Service - Suggestion...I was told that I could get a hitch lock at the Uhaul Store. But when I asked to purchase one I was told that Uhual doesnt carry such items....it created an extra stop for me.

Excellent customer service from the team at this location. From answering all of my questions over the phone, helpfulness when I picked up the truck and moreso when it was dropped off. All around, great team!
I think the lighting should face the storage door. Just a thought.
3 employees were sitting at the front and no one asked me if I needed help. I had to request for someone to help me.
The dealership was convenient, clean, attendant was nice and professional. The truck was slow to start and very rough driving. I think the ruck needs shocks as I felt bumps in the road that were not even there. My furniture took a rough ride as well.

U-Haul made my interstate move very easy. Large clean trailer for my towing vehicle.
I attempted to call this location to let them know I would be late in picking up the cargo van, but I could not reach a live person. I only got a voice mail message telling me to try calling back later. It would be nice to have all phone calls answered by a live representative at the site.
The size of the trailer was very misleading. We were told our trailer would fit a queen bed which it doesn't fit the box springs. We rented it and had to put the box springs in a bed of a truck and went thru a very heavy rainstorm. We rented the trailer specifically for this problem. The box springs got soaked and hope that it dries. Also, we had three cardboard boxes that we asked to throw away at the return sight and were told we couldn't put them in the trash bin that was 10 feet away. Disappointing.

The motorcycle trailer has a bare metal base that is "very slick" when it gets wet. That makes for a very tricky loading process if you happen to get caught in the rain while loading. Idea: paint the entire base/floor of the trailer with non skid paint, similar to bed liner in pickup trucks. It's really a safety factor.
Truck had many miles on it, over 90k, and it was quite beat up.

overall great experience. Suggest making the online check in process something that actually checks in and saves time. Seems like we pretty much went through the same process when I went in store except some of my info was pre-populated.
Had lots of damage to the things on the inside and was 2 hours late for delivery.
Next time don't switch my reservation without my knowledge to a location that is too far away. Don't lie and say you have a truck but don't. Don't be rude and hang up on me several times. Don't rake people over the coals and be a shitty company. I plan on going on yelp, Facebook, and writing all the negative reviews I can. I am going to build a website called Uhaulisaweful.com and make sure it impacts your company's sales. I am also going to spend the 10x amount of money it takes to rent from budget in the future for both me personally as well as my companies that rent uhaul vans often. You guys are scum and I'm not taking this laying down. There will be consequences for uhaul for this awful and deceptive transaction. I'm also considering legal action. This is goodbye :(

Give people a break if they have to reschedule because their truck that they had scheduled wasn't returned in time, so you had to reschedule your whole move because of it. And there were no other trucks to rent.

Contract stated 47 extra miles for which I was charged and did not use. Devious, deceptive, and dishonest policy.
I did not have any contact with the Lewisville u haul, so unable to rate. My problem with haul was where the order process started on West Dundee Illinois.

we Were charged for only 6 days of using the storage for the entire month. This is unacceptable and very rude from Uhaul. Also locked in when moving out. Attendant left us.

I had NOTHING but problems, dealt w shady employees, the rudest employees in business. A manager hung up on me, then flat lied to cooperate when I called. I tell everyone to avoid this company.

Uhaul raised the rates when they took over from Royal which I did not like.
I could not access the gate with my access card.
When uhaul took over this facility they raised the price 3 times in the first year and reduced the access hours. If you wanted later hours you had to pay an additional amount.

1-U-Haul may be priced competitively BUT they notoriously nickel and dime you. 2-Our unit had a car stored in it and thick oil was on the floor, will seep into boxes and possibly ruin items inside.

I recently rented a U-Haul trailer. About 2-3 weeks later they attempted to charge me for a storage unit as well. They told me they would look into it and get back to me. This has never happened.

Access to the units need to be a little longer than 7pm in the summer.
My agreement on space and price was changed 3 times by the company. Once the agreements were made, they should have honored it.

I would NEVER recommend this storage unit. My unit was broken into on Christmas day and U-Haul did nothing. we lost thousands of dollars of valuables, so irreplaceable.

The people that own this storage make the entire process a great experience! I moved from Georgia to Texas, a long 20 hour drive, and they were a breath of fresh air! They went above and beyond...
Nobody was at the facility nor had been at the facility all day - office hours posted were 9am-6pm. We went somewhere else.
Customer service reps had no knowledge of the 6.95 charge and the 1-month free rent. Also, they charged a 15.00 fee. Therefore there appears to be a communication breakdown
