Great service from start to finish. Was able to get desired storage size and location. Very much appreciated first month free (less insurance) with one-way truck rental. Storage unit was clean and came with disc style padlock. Very secure with keypad check-in. Staff were knowledgeable and very helpful and friendly. Overall experience was exceptional. Would not hesitate recommending to others. Thank you for making this aspect of relocating to the area a positive one.

The 2nd floor unit is not convenient for me, the lifting upward caused a muscle strain near my chest (I understand that is not your fault) I gave five stars because of the convenience of the process, I was just getting in town on a rainy Sunday approximately 15 minutes before closing and needed to store some of my things. The process was seamless!

I had to log into two separate key pads just to gain entry. Why? From straying.

For starters it’s not temperature controlled. Secondly the amount of roach infestation was pretty big. Most of them were dead but thankfully it did not affect my items in storage. Since Florida has horrible humidity I would expect the area would be cared for as best as possible regarding infestation. I also found a couple of silverfish in my boxes that were taped and closed. There were some that were open and naturally the silver fish were there but the point is infestation for both silver fish and roaches was pretty bad. I had to make sure I didn’t take any of those bugs with me to my apartment because it was pretty bad. All in all for convenience it’s ok. But care for the infestation problem and I might reconsider.

Very difficult getting in touch with a uhaul representative. Storage was at the top of the ceiling and it would be better if it showed pictures so people could make best choices when booking online.

One problem! I was told on the -hone by Uhaul that I get 1 month free with my rental, only to be told that’s not the case. Not happy about that! Nothing wrong with the facility, but really not happy about telling me one thing, and then having to pay for the storage unit.

This location did everything perfectly. All other locations we had scheduled were poor and provided unacceptable service. The additional cost for their incompetence was over $200 . Glory and Justin went above and beyond to ensure the move to the facility went smoothly. When the unit I chose was too small they worked after hours to get me into a new unit. Thank you so much. You saved me so much time and energy. Your guys are awesome!!

In the first month of my rental, I was wrongfully accused of living in my storage unit and was locked out, unable to access my tools for work. I asked them to produce any video of me living there and they could not. After notifying corporate, the matter was supposedly resolved several weeks later and I was told I had resumed normal access. Wrong. The lock was still on and it took another call to corporate before it was removed. They ended up giving me a free months rent because the vast majority of the month I was locked out. Several months later my rent was past due. They again put a lock on my unit...understandably so...and charged me late fees. Two weeks after bringing my account up to date the lock was still on and it took another call to management to finally get it removed. Ive been a customer of U-Haul for more than 40 years but after this experience I will NEVER again use their services and will recommend to all of my friends to find alternate sources of storage. Corporate U-Haul needs to replace the management team effective immediately or face more complaints such as this. There is no excuse for that type of behavior at any level in the business world. As a Veteran, I am appalled that it continues to this day.

Bradley and Glorie we're very helpful when I had a problem. The only problem I had was that every day the office opens at 9 and a lot of the time it wasn't open at all so I would have to go to the other facility to get a hold of someone who works there. I know that they are understaffed right now though so I can say that they are doing the best they can.

For the majority of my time storing my items, the access code would not work due to a software issue. I was not informed of this at the time of rental, otherwise; I would have gone elsewhere. The staff were always professional, friendly and helpful.

The assistant manager there didn't give Mr the right information. He was lying about the store hours. He told me to go check the room while the place was already closed. I pay money to go in on January 7 , He asked to come back tomorrow . That's non sense. If i wanted the place for next day ? I would wait.

Had an issue with the storage unit and also the fact that they were trying to charge me for an extra day a dolly and furniture pads. They did not put my order in right. Yes they corrected it but to be told all those things after a long day was not ok. I don't think I should have paid full price for the truck.

My one and only complaint, and I never expected it, is the cockroaches I observed in this facility. A brand new facility, loaded with cockroaches. I rented 2 units, as soon as I opened the doors, cockroaches. During my last visit, I noticed a cockroach climbing the exterior wall of a unit near the exit. I now have an added expense of having to isolate my contents offsite and tent the entire contents before I move them into my new home. Otherwise the service is great!

All in all I had a good experience. The only problem that came up consistently was my access cards would often not work. However, the staff was helpful and understanding.

I have had the same storage unit for two years but in the last year, each month I am told that I have no storage with them. I end up having to call and sit on hold for almost an hour just to explain (again) that I can’t pay because their system says I have no storage, wait as they look it up, then pay, and then have them tell me that it won’t happen again. Only for it to happen again.

The 24 hour key cards, NEVER did work, I left for Seattle and had to wear sandals because I could not access my storage unit. My sandals were destroyed upon landing due to the rain, I moved my stuff out yesterday into a different company, I would NOT ever rent a storage unit from usual agin

The lady in the office was rudeness and not customer focused. As I waited, she was on the phone with another customer and she continued to roll her eyes at the customer on the phone. She was not very welcoming. The trailer was dirty and I didn’t notice until I arrived at my destination to pick new furniture up. I had nothing with me to clean it. There was a lot of sawdust, a few bolts, and a syringe in the trailer. The syringe was very concerning and I didn’t want to touch it. When I dropped the trailer off, I pulled up to the equipment return. One worker was unhooking another trailer in front of me. I was not acknowledged by either worker that was outside. Once the guy ahead of me left, I sat there for approximately 10 minutes without being told any direction. Two people arrived after me to fill their propane tanks, and they were helped before I was. Finally, one of the workers unhooked my trailer. I have used U-Haul a lot at another location before moving to Lakeland and I have never had such poor customer service or dirty equipment. It will be hard for me to want to use this location again.

The black woman that was there when I returned the truck told me to wait outside in the rain for another person to check me in. She was very rude an shouted it across the room I was still at the front door when she told me to wait out. I didn’t get her name but I returned the truck @6pm on 4/15/2020 so whoever the person is she was working that day.

I had completed the pickup online, but when I arrived, some of the information I had already provided was not on record. Also, I feel it is an invasion of privacy, requiring an additional person to contact, “in case of emergency.” Just rent the item to me. Otherwise, you have a good reputation. Thanks.

The woman at the front desk was extremely slow, extremely unhelpful and very condescending. She wasted 2 hours booking me a unit that was not big enough for my storage needs. I asked to see the unit before I made any purchases she refused to show me anything. So I ended up going down the street to another storage facility after my refund was processed and I was in and out. Sorry uhaul but I'll never use your services again.

The lady behind the counter was so rude, no people skills. The trcks felt like it was going to fall apart, the steering wheel was not center, it took everything in me to keep it straight on the road. I have been here before and this is the worst experience I've ever had. I can look pass the truck but the ladies attitude was absolutely appalling.

Make certain the online information translates to real time action. There was extensive issues obtaining our UBox. Also, I called the requisite 24 hours before my desired pick-up of the box. I had a friend take time out of his day to be there at the appointed time (10AM). He was told the box not ready. In fact, the box was not ready for more than 4 hours later. I couldn't apologize enough to him for the disruption of his day.

I contacted reservations of my extra day rental of $40.00 and they confirmed .ot.. I ess also Rd that. If I returned it to original pickup place in Lakeland that there would be an. Adjustment in mileage for contacting .of of major change of moving . Tragedy .. Representative reassured me that.our verbal..conversation was documented and forwarded.. How er I was over charged and these were never adjusted I'm very disappointed U-Haul for my rental please look into this matter and contact me I would greatly appreciate it if we could discuss this tragedy experience thank you

On this locations website it states you can access your storage unit from 5am-10pm every day. Yesterday, 4/2 I went at 8:30pm and the gates were locked with padlocks. I called the main customer service number and the manager of the Lakeland facility stated it is only open until 7pm. I have screenshots of what their website states. I want some of my money refunded.

There was only one single associate inside the store, caring for the customers. She was having to help all those that showed up in person, as well as having to answer the phone every time it rang.
