There was confusion where the truck was to be returned otherwise a great experience
Try a routine maintenance program as opposed to having your customers deal with issues. I wasted so much of my time on uhaul scheduling issues and on the road repair for a simple in town move using your utility trailers.
It was a very good experience .. clean van and prompt service .. gas tank was full which was great .. last time it wasn't so it was hard to return at the same level ... so please keep the tank full
only 2 people on for a saturday morning , computers go down and cost everyone over half an hour.

Make sure the equipment is checked thoroughly once I left the uhaul the ball hitch was not installed properly and the trailer fell off on the highway which damaged my bumper. In overall it was a mechanical error the customer service is great is at this location
I was supposed to have the truck for 24 hours. The assistant manager called me at 9:30am on the day I was supposed to return it at a later time and I was charged for another day. That is very poor business. I have used uhaul many times in the past, but I will never rent from this company again.
Overall it was a great experience. There was no waiting around and the staff was helpful and nice! Thank you for helping to make a stressful day a little less stressful!
i apologize for not remembering the lady thT worked with me at the desk as it was the start of a very hectic day but she is a true asset to your day to day operations
-1.) Recommend checking current draw from trailer lights prior to lease.
Trailer blew my brake light fuses (15a) and turn signal fuses (7.5a). Had to replace with higher rated fuses to work.
2.) Takes too long to get to human on support phone lines and when you do humans script has too many redundant and non applicable questions. Customer should be asking questions not support rep

For starters U-haul should do a much better job of inspecting their trucks. I made reservations almost a month before I needed it so there is really no excuse why they couldn't maintain the vehicle I requested. We arrived on time and had already checked in online. We needed to get in and out. That didn't happen. The employees weren't the friendliest of people or professional. They give us the key, they wouldn't tell us which one was our truck until AFTER we signed and boy was that truck a mess. First problem, the defrosters did not work. It was cold and rainy we needed the defrosters. We then had to wait an HOUR for them to fix it because they couldn't get us another truck in the size we needed for another 8 hours. They fixed it incorrectly and put the wrong kind of fuse in. (side note: employees had no idea how to even get to the fuse box which would be why this took so long). But of course no other local rental companies had anything available. We get out of there finally and start our drive because well, we seemed to have no other choice. As we're driving we notice a few new defects. Marker light is out, passenger door did not close all the way (even after trying to slam it shut) so it was an extremely noisy drive. Sounded like a gunshot went of everytime we tried to use the breaks. We are driving on the highway and the ABS break light comes on. Awesome. Even better? THE HAZARD LIGHTS DIDNT WORK. Had we needed to pull over if the breaks felt like they were starting to fail we would have been screwed. When I called customer service I was put on hold for about 15 min. Great service right? Hung up called back and got through right away. Management takes up to 72 hours to deal with customer complaints. Really? That long? Glad to know they can enjoy their weekend while we are having the worst experience with this rental. How many customers are going to be put in danger by them renting a truck out that is literally falling to pieces? It's absolutely absurd that they don't seem to do maintenance on their trucks. The entire experience with uhaul was absolutely terrible.
There was a issue with reservation date.
No one walked the truck with us for inspection at pickup or drop off location
When I went to the site it told me I could pickup at a location closer to my house. Then when the called to confirm the appt they informed me I had to go to This location which was much further away
Had to drive 1 full hour to get the car transport with a loaded 26 foot truck....incompetency at its max regarding planning. Reservation had been made for several weeks....no help from any u-haul people called.

I use this location every time we need a rental truck. Always satisfied. It's surprising just how often you need a rental truck.
The guys at the location were very helpful and nice especially being labor day. They moved the ubox out into the open so I could load it onsite. Shame I`m moving seems like a really good location.

Everything was great! The guys were very courteous and friendly. Equipment was ready when we arrived and the return was quick and organized.
Everyone was friendly and courteous. Only complaint is that I was originally told I would have the truck for 8 hours and when I picked it up they were only able to give me 4 hours due to a mistake that was made on their end.
Main entrance to the building was blocked by boxes-not very welcoming. Had to weave through materials to find counter. Other than that, neat & organized.
True truck we rented was scary. I'm very surprised it started. It bearly started and couldn't even shift gears. I drove it 13.7 miles and used 8.4 gal of gas. Please take it off the road.
Make sure your computer billing is correct, was told i owed money from a rental 1 year ago. They looked it up and did see it was paid.

I didn't appreciate that the truck was so expensive to rent. I was $103.00, and I only rented a 15' truck to go from Manchester to Middletown and back.
Here's something that you can do to improve for the next customer:
Do not charge for mileage for the first 5 miles. Charging for mileage AND demanding the gas tank be refilled to the same level upon return are additional costs that make uhaul look GREEDY.
When I got the auto transport home and loaded my car onto it, I discovered that it had a flat tire. I inflated all of the tires, added a can of fix-a-flat ($11.00) and still had to stop to re-inflate the tire twice during my trip. I would like to be reimbursed for the $11 I spent and I'd like a discount on my next auto transport rental.

UHauls Rental Process that does not hold the vehicle you ordered is a joke. I had originally booked at a different location who could not honor my 10 foot rental, I had had the same problem with this location in the past.
People are nice, but when you book truck for a reason, being pushed into a Van is a bad business practice for UHaul.

Very easy to make reservation, very easy to make changes to existing reservation. Would use them again!
The pick-up part of the operation is very slow. Maybe it needs to be this way, but people need to wait a long time to get their equipment when more than one person is trying to pick equipment up at the same time. The trailer we rented worked perfectly for moving our son into a house at college!
Overall its very good.
Only thing I would like to mention is, scheduling pick-up time and drop-off time keep on changing and that changes our other schedule too.
Tell all customers to take a picture of gas reading before drop off because...the readings that a given aren't accurate..but for next time I know to take a video and picture to avoid having to pay an additional 12 dollars after putting gas inside the truck ...kinda felt ripped off the once transfered to customer service I was hanged up on ...Wasn't happy about that but I learned my final lesson...never again
Have someone outside where you pick up your van/truck rental to help with any issue that may arrive. I was told my van was the first on in row B.....it was smack dab in the middle of two vans, I had to go find help, I filled the car up to full and still got charged an extra 10 miles, I new I would, but it would be nice if there was some give and take. It is hard to gage where the gas level is while filling the gas tank!
Make sure the truck they rented is on time (mine was 45+ minutes late). Provide more alternatives if this occurs.
On my rental form the paper work showed more gas then was actually in the vehicle. I returned the vehicle with the amount of gas that I was given the vehicle with and was then charged over $10.00 for additional fuel expenses.
The driver side mirror on the particular truck that we had was loose and kept losing alignment. Other than that small item, everything was perfect.
This was our third time using this location in the past few weeks. The entire staff is great. Getting in and out with the equipment is very quick. (Not always the case with other U-Haul locations we've used). Check in is super fast as well. Highly recommend this branch. Keep up the good work!

When I made the reservation, I was told I would have the van for 6 hours from when I picked it up. As a result I made the reservation for an hour earlier then I needed it at the suggestion of staff to ensure that it would be ready for me when I came. When I picked up the van I was told I only had it for 5 hours due to picking it up late. I explained this to the worker and was told they were busy due to campus move in weekend and the van needed to go out again a half hour after I had to return it.
Additionally, the gas tank was lower then what we were told and this delayed my pull out by about a half hour.
More designated, as well as, clearly marked parking for renters.
Make sure the equipment is on location before contracting it out.
The truck had a misaligned driver's door that made shutting it a nuisance.
Clean vehicles, friendly employees and decent prices.
Had to wait 10-15 mins 3 employees told me somebody will be with you
Trouble with the van connector and handle missing off the Auto Transport. Ehhh.

OUTSTANDING experience! Clean yard, clean store, efficient, friendly personnel on both pickup and dropoff. Trailer was there as reserved, process was easy on both ends. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Let customers know how much earlier they need to come before they will reach the front of the queue , example half hour before 8 am for Saturday t x,y ,z .
My information got put in to the computer incorrectly by a U-Haul handler and caused confusion. I had to call and get it straightened out. It was fixed and it all worked out. Everyone was pleasant.

Since the lot was repainted, picking up and dropping off a vehicle is very easy. The customer parking is not well-marked, though. The facility is very clean. The vehicle was almost new, and very comfortable.
When I called to reserve a truck, I requested to pick It up from the location that was listed on your website that was close to my home. When receiving the email it stated a location much further away. This was inconvenient. I will not rent from Uhaul in the future.
This location did a good job, but I was a little frustrated by the online process. Why does it give me an option to select a location closer to my home, but after I register I get a message the next day that I have to go to another location?

My Receipt was emailed to me halfway to the parked car I left at the lot. I appliad your IT services and how well you do things. This was not the case a few years ago when I rented a truck. Who ever is running your private Cloud. Hi-5 them when u see them

If equipment not available at pick up time, the store should find a way to bring it to that location instead of customer having to drive to another location.
Very annoying to have to pick up our trailer hitch from an entirely different location than our rental truck.
One issue is they charged me upon my return for additional mileage, then charged me again on Monday for the same amount, essentially they double charged me , please advise if we can get this corrected
I had a terrible experience and never again will I go to uhaul....first they give me my order say everything is all set then they text me with a whole different order, then the pickup is at a different location from what I had asked, then I go upset to the location then the employee is being rude and sarcastic, then they say there going to recompensate me taking $60 dollars off my price and they still charged me same price, i was very upset and very disappointed with the uhaul company

The stereo system in the pickup truck failed an hour into a 20-plus hour trip. This made an for incredibly boring drive.
Fill the gas tank upon initial pick-up. This 3/4 of a tank stuff is only a way for you to make more money off the consumer because trying to equal the amount of gas in the tank when it is not full, is near impossible so the consumer is always spending more. A little greedy I think?
Tried to overcharge me $75 for mileage not driven
Make sure there is not mouse poop in the cabin before the next customer gets the vehicle
make sure the trucks air conditioning is working
I have rented several times always very pleased with the equipment and the curious service.
The BEST customer service of ANY Uhaul locations we have visited.
There are 4 counters at this location and with my recent visits (typically around 3 to 4 times) within a week for various purposes in this store, I observed that there was a big queue everytime and customer has to wait for a long time and i feel it is due to shortage of associates availability (2 out of 4 counters have u-Haul associates) but not all 4. Please improve the same.
The attendant was argumentative and rude

Installed a hitch on Friday and rented a trailer on Saturday and both experiences were very good. Friendly service.
The staff at Manchester UHaul was incredibly helpful and were great. Scheduling and ordering the uboxes was Difficult and I got the impression that the call center was not familiar with the product.
When someone makes a "reservation" several weeks in advance, U-Haul should have the vehicle requested on site and ready to go the day it was reserved. Not tell them that the truck is 50 miles in the wrong direction. UHaul is a joke. Never using uhaul again.

I wasn't allowed to pick up my 9' rental van on Saturday night before closing. This caused me to be late for my work on Sunday morning. There were plenty of vans available.
Pick up location was moved thirty minutes away, less than 24 hours before pick up time. More notice would have made life easier.
Technically, it is not this locations fault. Because I didn't pick this location as a pick up location to begin with. Someone change the location and without notification.
I hate U-hual period. Nobody ever should use this service ever. I will make a complain on all sorts of social media if I can until I get some kind of refund or reply of apology.
Had an appt early in the morning, apparently there was an issue with a previous customer, so there was a line of peoiple waiting from the desk to the door while all of the employees were outside cleaning trucks. 1 of the customers said they were waiting almost an hour. I feel that there should have been at least 1 employee checking people in.
The general manager Phil treated me horrible. He told me to get the "f" out of his store because I had a confirmed 24 hr rental due to my reservation was transferred to a further location from my home. I was respectful and trying to listen to his concerns but he told me he didn't have to rent to me at all and didn't care about my business. I asked him to call Cindy and confirm he against refused my rental I asked to speak to Cindy who apologized over and over again while listening to Phil verbally assault me. After speaking with Cindy she told me I could have my rental he proceeded to be rude and left me at the counter for 25 minutes to have Cindy personally call him on his cell. Once he finally came back I have now been in uhaul on what is suppose to be a happy day for me and my family as we bought our first home. Phil came back in reeking of smoke. He wouldn't say a word to me started to process my information. Then abruptly gets up and slams the keyboard says someone else check her out. I couldn't believe a mom with two 5 year olds could be treated like this. I had other customers come up and say how sorry they were that I went through that as I left. I will never use this company again.
Be more understanding to your customer needs especially when they rent a 26' truck in advance and you don't have it . And you try to make them think a 20' truck will take the same amount of furniture and belongs if you have a small trailer add up the square footage. They told us you don't want our 26' truck because their old and wont make it to Virginia. I would like to know who is going to pay me for the extra axle charge on all the tolls I paid because of your mistake. And who is going to pay for all my belongings I couldn't take because they couldn't fit in the smaller truck and trailer. We didn't have any issues with this location however the reservation experience was frustrating to say the least. We booked a truck online approx 2 weeks in advance. 2 days before our rental date we received a text confirming pick up at a different location and for 530 PM not 8am! When I called the new location in Hartford CT the gentleman that answered was rude and basically told me there were no other rentals in the area and there was nothing he could do. I called the 800 UHaul number and the gentleman that answered wasn't helpful either. I asked him if anywhere on the website states that this could happen. He said no and offered no solution. He then gave me the phone # of a central booking office. The woman that answered was polite and helpful. We had to pick up the truck a day early and it was smaller than we needed.
Sorry UHaul. Thumbs down experience. I understand that availability changes but how about a human calls you or TRIES to figure out a solution. Why should I have had to make 3 different phone calls? And no discount for the inconvenience to boot.
They need to have more staff working first thing in the morning. I picked up my rental at 7am on a Saturday morning. There were only 2 people working. One inside & one outside. I was third in line but by the time the staff member finished with the first customer the line was almost out the door.
We were told to pick up the truck at the BP in Manchester; no truck was waiting for us there, so we were sent to 432 Oakland St. The staff there were helpful & managed to get us a truck, but we should have just been sent there first!
Let me start by saying something about Melisa. I myself have delt with "many" rentals in the past and this young lady had to be above and beond what U-Hall could ask for. Extremly well educated in EVERY detail of here employment. And the smile, calm voice, respectful and a just all around fantastic person. I hope that this has some reflection on her. As we all know a great deal of these comments are over looked. Please let me know that this comment is recived !

Rented a 10 footer on a Saturday. It was a busy day. There was a line of customers, which is good for business. However, there was only 1 attendant. I was second in line and was helped in a timely fashion. However, I would assume the rest waited a while. Maybe more staff to help from 7-9 am? Returns also I thought was "first come, first seved". It seems that I was first in line but others were attended to first. An interesting observation. He vehicle was fine though. I will rent again.

I drove the truck 8 miles when I brought it back to the U-Haul location they wanted to charge me $9 for gas saying I had used a 1/16th of a tank.. The needle on the fuel gauge never moved position. A vehicle that is advertised for $19 + $0.99 a mile + $5 gas (2gal) that I put in cost $52 or 8 miles and less then an hour.
I was waiting for 10 minutes to check out.
We had excellent customer service from Melisa. She helped us with our new truck, understanding the fuel allowance and getting us out quickly. Also, the manager of the store had a very difficult customer in front of us and handled it very well. He diffused the situation and kept calm while being cursed at and berated.
The facility could use updating, it looks exactly the same as it did when I last used it seven years ago. The drop off is nice since you don't have to go inside and everything is taken care of right there, but we had to wait for someone to come help us, and we were not even acknowledged (I would have expected him to say he would be with us shortly if he was going to assist is, which he did eventually) when a customer service person did finally come out and assisted a person five feet away from us.
Recommend more locations thruout the Vernon/South Windsor/E. Windsor areas .
The only part that could improve is the drop off process. I had to wait a while for someone to come over. There were people walking through the parking lot with uhaul shirts that didn't acknowledge me, so that was a little frustrating. You could tell that they were doing work, and on a task, but it felt like no one noticed that I was waiting. When someone did come over, they used a cell phone to check me in and charge me so the end result was fast, just waiting was long.
I had the worst experience at this uhaul location. The manager Phil is very rude and disrespectful. The main 1 800 number i used to call messed up my reservation of my storage and truck rental.
Bait and switch. I ordered trailer rental online. When I got there the trailer had no ramp. They charged me double for one with a ramp that was bigger than I needed. Online it said the size I wanted had a ramp and they said that was true but they were out of those. They should have honored the price for the larger trailer.
you have no fucking right to change the hours of use on people to maximize your profits! Who the hell can move there belongings in less then 5 hours. Uhaul has no right to change my weekend plans. You over booked and that should not be the problem of first come first serve customers. You have no soul in that office. I have to rent twice now! Hopefully you get richer this weekend because of it.
The rear door of the trailer was broken and very difficult to open and close.
Need to fix the parking lot.
Location was average. The overall reservation process was a nightmare - turned into a 3 hour mess!
Worst experience ever. After getting pulled over on Merritt Parkway since they consider UHaul vehicles commerical vehicles, I was given a total run around by the local office and customer service on how to handle the ticket, and whether the truck was actually considered a commercial vehicle or not. After speaking with someone from corporate office, I was told that it was a commercial vehicle, and to call back after I drop off to start a claim process. After doing that, I was given a run around by UHaul for 3 hours, this time them saying it is NOT a commercial vehicle, and I need to dispute it with the local police. Most unhelpful customer service I have dealt with.
The staff was friendly and courteous. The location was very clean and convenient. The vehicle rented had a few issues; 1) When reducing speed from over 40 mph the tranny would downshift hard to first once you hit 28 mph - this would cause the whole truck to slow down in one hard motion 2) Driver's side headlight was burned out 3) The 12 volt charger was inop 4) The front tires need a high speed balance (The steering wheel would shake on the highway.
Tried to make amends for the lousy pick up. Nice guy there .
I can't believe the Uhaul MAKES me provide 2 phone numbers to rent a vehicle. After I give a valid credit card and address. Totally uncalled for. I found the manager at this location rude and unhelpful. It's too bad you have someone with no customer focus working for your company. NOT HAPPY at all!!!
Provide the truck reserved to the first customer who shows for it as opposed to holding it for a later customer and screwing over the first one.
Pickup was a little confusing. Have to walk in the "Return Equipment" area. No parking for renter's vehicle.
Have the size truck reserved available. It's extremely disappointing when you don't get the size you had needed or expected.

It would be helpful to know that the 17 ft truck I rented inexplicably only gave 4 miles to the gallon milage
Ramp was covered in oil, called branch manager was to call me back , never heard from him. Was diificult to use until i got it cleaned

Your staff was uninterested and did not have the items we reserved. It's a good thing we had rented from you before since they never provided a 'familiarization/orientation" to the truck. It was "here's the keys the truck. Is in row N at the end". Nice!? Is that really the way you want a business to run in your name? You really want people like this as your employees?
submit the correct mileage when charging the customer, I drop the pick up over night and was charged 10 miles extra I called customer service twice and the second time I called the customer service person said "oh well, I hope they call you back". What type of customer service is that. I have yet to receive a call.

Employee named shawn was very rude to me. My reservation wasn't saved. So the storage unit was up stairs. I have a handicap and stairs are hard. I said it was saved. He says no..I asked. Did they lie to me..He said I guess.He said that's how they're are trained..I says. To lie?
He said..that's how they are..I then called customer service because he says there was no manager. I waited outside in the hot sun almost an hour trying to call customer service. End result was I just rented truck and went elsewhere for storage unit. Very disappointed
The communication was lacking. They changed our pickup location without calling to let us know, then lied when asked about it.
The 2 ladies and 1 gentleman at the Mancheater location were the absolute epitome of customer service. I was stressed to the maximum about moving and they LITERALLY made me feel completely at ease and had me smiling and laughing on my way out the door. They went OUT of their way to put a smile on my face and feel confident about move. I am eternally grateful, UHAUL!!!!!
I've had several bad experiences with U-Haul over the years. This experience was the polar opposite. It was by far the best I've ever had and can't recommend this location anymore highly.
The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgable and made the rather mundane task of renting a UHAUL truck quite pleasurable. Kudos!

You can have more staff on moving days. It was the last weekend (saturday) of the month, when everyone is moving, and there were only 2 people on. There was a line going out the door! I had people waiting for me asking what the hell took so long. It's no secret when people are moving. You have been in business for how long?
Blinker wouldn't shut off. Truck smelled of stale cigarette. Would never drive this vehicle long distance because smell would make you sick. Couldn't use AC because of this.
I had a new truck, it was it's first trip and I got about 100 miles from CT. and the driver's side mirror kept moving so I had to reach out my window to keep adjusting it. The screw which was suppose to hold it in place was broken and I can't believe they put plastic screw's in these to hold them in place. I had to wait until I got to Anthum AZ. to turn in the truck to have the person who checked me in tell me that they should have metal screw's. So my suggestion is to make sure you check these mirrors on the new trucks for your customers.
The truck we rented was in good condition but smelled of cigarette smoke. A few shots of fabreze did the job! The staff at this facility has consistently been great to work with. We rented a unit for two years and recently relocated. Our belongings were in perfect condition - just as the day we initially stored them. The facility is always clean and well managed. I would highly recommend this location to anyone. Thank you Phil, Marlene, and staff.
The Manchester location was great My over all experience with u haul was not good at all. The truck was surposed to be in the am and they told me the only one they had was pm The pick up should have been in waterbury but they told me it was in Bristol. I will never do u haul again

I had a very bad experience with UHAUL and that too in my first visit. I had done a booking for a 10'' truck a week advance for 27th June and i was given a time of 12:30PM. When i reach there i was told to wait for 10-15 min as the customer who rented the truck didn't return back. They should have called me in advance and told me about the delay.
After waiting for 20 min, they again told that the customer is coming and i have to wait for more time. This was so frustating. They had some other trucks (little big one) but they never offered and told that all are reserved. My whole schedule was impacted due to this delay.
In the end that guy came at 1:45 PM, after a wait of almost one and a half hour. I had booked some persons for my move and they charged me extra money for a delay.
The service is very poor. I had to wait for such a long time even after booking in advance a week ago. I am not satisfied with the service, but at that time i had no other option other then wait.
U Haul is extremely over priced and I hate this company! U Haul sucks!
I reserved a 20' truck with a utility dolly, furniture dolly, and two dozen furniture pads. My reservation says this. When I got there last Saturday morning I was told "Sorry, we don't have any of that" and was only able to rent the truck. The truck was only 1/8 full of gas. They gave a credit to get it up to 1/4, but it just adds to the unprofessional experience.

While the personnel were professional the location was understaffed. I experienced 30+ min wait times to pick up and drop off. There was no manager on site to answer questions or address issues that customers had. I felt bad for those working. Equipment was good though. When you are paying for time and need to get in and out its very frustrating to wait.

We had the wrong wiring harness installed ( in which they tried to argue until they saw that they messed up and at first did not want to take the blame and reinstall for free) and bad communication on when to return the trailer in order to not accrue extra charges. Also, the customer service rep was rude.
Although the service was great here, I reserved the truck at the West Hartford because my storage room was there and I meant to empty it. I wasted and hour and a half picking up the truck somewhere else. And then I saw there were available trucks at my original location.
on returning equipment, I told of a water leak and was shown rusted chains, bolts and missing safety items for a trailer that cost me over $800.00.
Have someone at the counter that is friendly - The person that helped me acted like she was doing me a favor renting me a truck. The truck was not full of gas - had to go back in and get the reading changed. Truck was not very clean.
I would not recommend U haul to a friend. You guys should learn how to honor a reservation. don't let the truck be double booked and say 'based on availability" BS. Reservation duration is a very crucial to the renter, it should not be changed at the time of pickup, it just doesn't work. If somebody else has already booked it why do you let another person to book it again for the same or overlapping time period. Uhaul sucks..
Once I completed an online reservation on Thursday 6/11, I received an email telling me to complete a pre trailering inspection. I went to the Oakland Street location at 11:00 and a male employee checked the lighting and found tail lights not working. The place was quiet with no work going on in the bay and I was the only customer the entire time I was there. I said fine let's get this fixed at a cost of $100. After 15 minutes the employee said the manager told him they were to busy and could not complete the work. It needed to be done in the next 3 and 1/2 days. I told him that I have a $1,500 8x12 cargo trailer scheduled for Tuesday 6/16 and if it wasn't completed by Monday afternoon I'd just cancel it and let the home office know why. He said he'd have the manager call me in the next hour or so and the manager never called, ever. I went home and thought to call Hartford Uhaul and see if they could do the repair. They said they could get it done for sure and would overnight the part and scheduled me for Monday by 2pm. I said yes, do it, do you need a credit card or anything? The Hartford manager also laughed some and said sorry, but Manchester claimed they were too busy to do this? On Saturday morning the Hartford manager called me and pretended to be firming up the discussion asking me if he should order the part. I told him point blank that he knew he should have ordered the part Thursday and asked if he failed to. He then admitted his staff did saying he had taken 2 vacation days and the employee failed to do it. After some discussion he said he could still get the work completed by Monday noon using different parts on site. He did.
There are many issues here; the worst is the Manchester manager never ever called back and it was obvious they had all kinds of time and apparently was willing to lose a $1,500 rental, Hartford failed to order the part and then tried to suggest I never said to do so, but the number 1 issue that I can see is at the Hartford location, they have a good amount of staff in the yard but Julius, the manager is the only experienced staff in the office and he's working like 2 people. Every time I looked around he was either fixing issues at the front desk or answering questions right there or by radio, directing staff in and out, driving the fork lift to move the plywood trailer boxes or a hundred different things.
Reservation# 91644388 initial reservation was for 7 days. After 4-5 hours of having the rental in my possession, I realized that I no longer needed the truck for the initial requested amount of time, as my situation had been resolved. I called the store and explained my situation also informing the attendant that I would be returning the truck that evening. I was told by the attendant that I could return the truck and that calculations would be made at that time for a refund of the days that I did not keep the truck, as I was charged the full amount at the time of pickup. I returned the truck on the same day I picked it up. The attendant could not credit my account for the unused days, as the " computer" would not allow him to. Phil, the manager had left for the day and could not be reached to assist with the issue. I was then informed by the female attendant that I should call on Monday and speak to Phil as he is the only one who could reverse the charges for the unused days that I did not keep the truck. I have tried numerous times to reach the store this morning and each time the call is forwarded to customer service.

had a question when I went into truck on pick up and called number for help and got put on hold for a very long time...frustrated I could not get a quick answer as I wanted to get on the road. Had to go back into store for help. Otherwise later when I called in everyone was very helpful.
I had a few problems but first let me say that every single person I dealt with (person on the phone, at the check in, in the yard, at drop off etc) were EXCELLENT. The first was with my reservation. I'm not sure if I screwed something up out the app but either way the person I talked to took care of it and she was excellent. The second problem was with the equipment. I rented 6x12 trailer and when I did my 360 safety check I noticed a nail in one of the tires. It was right at the top and you couldn't miss it. I'm assuming that you check for these things and I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that when it was checked the nail was on the bottom. Luckily there was another trailer available so I didn't have to wait to get it fixed and again the yard guy was excellent taking care of it. I must add one thing though, this was the second 6x12 trailer I have rented from you in the last 6 months (the other one was from West Hartgird) with tire issues. When I did my safety check of that trailer I found that all four tires were under inflated (8,10,8,22 psi). Luckily I have a compressor so I took care of it. As you know tire pressure is extremely important with any vehicle especially a loaded trailer. I find it hard to believe that the pressure of those tires went down between use (they didn't budge during my 24 hours with the trailer) so I'm assuming you have a problem with your safety checks. I'm two for two with this type of problem it's hard to believe I'm just unlucky. You better remind people before someone gets hurt.

I had a great experience at the U-Haul and really appreciated the climate controlled facility. The only suggestion for improvement is to have longer access hours.
when you advertise $74.99 and it does not specify upper leveland charge the customer more than what he was told that is completely wrong and then to resolve this was just a horrible experience
Lots of ice/snow in loading area. Staff not that nice except Zack Antil, who is great. Big sliding door almost always locked, would have to go up to office to get it unlocked. Hrs of op too short.

Dont seem to care about customers at all, theyre unwilling to work with you if you get paid semimonthy, they will STILL charge you a late fee and threaten to take your items.
When I first got my storage until the card would not work for the first 5 times I went there and tried to us it. This was a hassle to have some one from the staff tried to fix it.

The staff facility were great, but the only problem I had/possibly still have is my access card said invalid when I tried logging in yesterday a little frustrating.
My only negatives would be the lack of a pro rated refund for unused rental days and at times the rear entrance was not available and I had to walk around the building to get to my rental unit 1205.
