Excellent was very satisfied
Service was good but the van was not well maintained. The rear shock absorbers were shot!!! Any undulation on the road translated into amplification effects in the cargo area. This caused items to bounce (u can hear it) and if not robustly padded, damage the furniture. Also, steering pulled to the right.
Have knowledgeable and friendly staff. Customer service over the phone was very rude and not helpful. My original pick up location had no one there
I asked for help top understand how to attach our little truck to the vehicle hauler. I was told that the straps is what keeps the vehicle in place and a couple chains just in case. as we traveled the straps came off 4 times. When we arrived at our destination I was told that the chains were not in the right place and could have been dangerous.
This is the second time that I have rented from here. Both times Uhaul tried to relocate my location away from light rail and I had to spend time and effort to redirect back to the reserved location. Why even have reservations?
Used Express Check-in & still had to go thru usual chek-in routine.
I arrived at the drop off location at 161 Fair Lane Dr
in Placerville at 3:20 PM. I was told the office would
be open till 5PM, they were closed so had to use the
drop. Very disappointed in the drop off location.
Nothing, the staff was great, they were very professional and pleasant we in and out of there in ten minutes best U-Haul place to use thanks for all there help before picking up the truck
Great customer service and communication
Truck was clean It would be helpful if the strap on the pull down door was longer.
The truck would not start after leaving it overnight. Called Road side assisstance.
I made my reservation online, but when picking up truck CSR made a mistake on my rental & caused $1000 in late fees/charges.
The service was great for only one representative. She was amazing! It would be nice to see another representative there to help.
Would be nice to have an overnight drop box when done with vehicle, thanks!
The employee was yery efficient and courteous despite having to work solo.
Maybe there would have been more people working if the reservation system did not insist in me having money in my account.
Staff should make sure and not forget to provide all materials rented by uhaul customers. I generally find uhaul service in the Sacramento region somewhat lacking. I suspect it is the culture of the people who live and work in Sacramento who probably do their jobs half ass.

Make sure that Carlos is always in the yard. This man has been helping my family for quite some time. When he is there everything runs smoothly. Propane refills, paperwork, questions asked, inspecting the truck upon return. You name it he does it stress free. We will be back. Thank you
When a truck is reserved
IT SHOULD BE RESERVED and not given to someone else! What a shock its going to be when a customer arrives to pick up their reserved truck and is not there.

It was obvious the interior of the truck had not been cleaned recently. But staff was very customer service oriented.
The employee who helped me, Shawna Bingman was very good, courteous and helpful.
I waited for a very long time at the check in bay with the truck before giving up and searching for an employee. After walking around the entire facility I found one person who ignored me as I stood there for even longer. Once she finished socializing she finally told me I could just leave the key. When I got home I had an email notifying me that I apparently did not fill the tank enough (even though I had just put 8 gall
The whole experience was positive and easy. Staff personal very efficient and helpful.
Can't think of a thing. Great & friendly service!
Manager was rude, lied to me, and when I called her out on it she backed down. She said that they couldn't rend 24hr after noon. Went online and made the registration and went in to show her that she was full of it. Don't understand how someone so rude can be the general manager!
Your service representative did something very wroug and charged me $69.00 for about 20-25 miles I will be filing a busy report letting them know that u-haul is over charging people.
Mrs. Jessica was AWESOME... Very warm welcoming, patient and helpful. She made a STRESSFUL move alot more tolerable. We still have SORE bodies from the move, yet we left Uhaul smiling because of the GREAT Service.

I find the "one month free storage" a complete SCAM...When your representatives call to solicit it, they make it sound as if it is at the location where you return your truck or trailer. No it's 20 fricking miles away. So, NOW when it's time to move it at the end of the free month, you expect that we will rent ANOTHER truck or trailer. It's a complete non-free freebie. I will advise you right not that I WILL remove my things within one month, AND I REFUSE to use any Uhaul products doing it. That is a fricking scam. If you don't have space RIGHT THERE, don't offer it.

Easy rental. Quick check out and even backed the trailer up for me when I returned it. I will use them again.
Have someone be inside the store a customer shouldn't have to go look for an employee to help them check out
yeah, made reservation for storage space on line for this location and when arrived discovered requested size was NOT available due to overbooking. Had to take smaller space and take remaining items to different storage area. Will not use U-Haul storage again or recommend to others.
It was a good storage unit but I couldn`t see anything in there without a flashlight
filling out the online quick check in should make the check in quicker it doesn't.
also they told me I needed a cell phone in addition to my home phone so they could call me while I was driving. other U-Haul rental locations have never required this
Great service, however there is only one person there during the day
The representative, I believe his name was Andrew, was the best Uhaul employee I've ever come across. He was fast, respectful, knowledgeable, and clearly knew what he was doing. This location and operation should be the U-haul standard.
The rep that helped me was great but he was working alone and handling the long line of customers all by himself. There should be more staff to get customers in and out and on with their busy day.
The customer service we received was great. We appreciate the patience shown to us,especially with my elderly mom. Thank you,keep up the good work.

Counterman was especially considerate and helpful. I'll be inclined toward this U-haul location for any future needs.
When people call for rental trucks advise of what the availability time is for pick up service. I wanted to pick my rental up at 8 or 9 a.m. and when I called to confirm my pick up time I was advised noon, which was more uncomfortable due to the weather..
I will definitely be renting again

I originally was told to bring my truck back at 9:30 AM but received a call that I could keep it till 11:30 AM. I appreciate the extra time but would have preferred to have the truck for a whole 24 hours.
The girl handling the processing of the reservation did a GREAT job of servicing 3 customers at once. This was a very busy Saturday morning and even though I waited over 15 minutes in line, I was impressed with her customer service skills. I would recommend having at least 3 employees assigned on Saturdays to cut down the wait time.
When I called to check in to pick up my truck they said I had to return it the next morning at 9 am which was not told to me prior. Then when I wanted a truck for longer she told me there is no more trucks available. I called reservations and they fixed it and then I came in to get my truck and the girl still didn't want to let me have the truck. She got approval from a manager which was very nice. Then after I got the truck she told me the appliance dolly that I had reserved was broken and there were no more. I rented from this place a couple weeks ago and never had any issues. This girl that helped me seemed annoyed that I wanted to rent a truck I don't know what her problem was. If anything I should of been upset over all the inconveniences while trying to rent my truck.
the place needs a drop box for the keys in case the costumer wants to returned the rental after hours, they need that urgent....

This was the best UHaul facility I have been in, from San Diego to Georgia, and multiple trips with UHaul. The staff was second to none.
I had to wait 20 minutes before someone came and helped me pick up the uhaul. I literally almost walked out and cancelled my reservation. Have someone at the front desk.

Have Mr. Wood go train at the Rancho Cordova location. He needs much help in customer service skills.

Dropped off after hours thus never made contact with anyone.
Let customers know that the 15ft truck isn't actually from top to bottom. The last 2ft is just the overhead compartment.
Windshield was very dirty. Agent did poor job of attempting to clean it. Otherwise service was great.

The truck was great. But each time I have rented over the 6 months the windows are filthy. I have to clean them. Also, I have never been able to successfully reserve on-line. And the confirmation emails are usually wrong. But using, driving, and returning are always good.
Uhaul did not hold my original reservation, and we had to pick up a smaller truck at an alternate location, but we were very satisfied overall.

The equipment was in good safe conditions. No problems with that aspect.
The bad experience we had was with the reservation, pickup of equipment. I made the reservation several months ago. When the time to pick up came I got a phone call from uhaul customer service, they told me that I have to pick up the equipment in two different locations. This added more frustration to the move. Moving an entire households across states is hard enough to have extra work.
The staff were very courteous and helpful. They never acted like I was asking a stupid question or were interrupting them. Excellent service.

Ceilings were too short compared to advertisement. First night we moved in, we were held at gun point by the cops due to some security thing. We are VERY disappointed in this storage facility.
My U-Box arrived ahead of schedule. The staff at both locations were patient and helpful. I will use U-Box for any future moves.

Access cards did not work immediately causing some confusion. They would not work until a computer system reboot which was frustrating. The cards should work immediately.
I am paid through June 1, but moved out of the facility and turned in my key. Can I get a refund from May 14-June 1
The box was poor quality. The boards on the outside were showing cracks. The door didn`t line up right and I had to buy a new lock because of the way the latch aligned poorly. Very disappointing.

The van had cockroaches. Pick up did not informed abt van had kmph,created a lot of confusion at drop off. Website has flaws as it changed my pick/drop location had to go through a lot of trouble
You are more expensive than other storage locations.

Facility mgr is DREADFUL! Power tripping controlling, passive aggressive heavy handed w regards to payments plus attempted ach without permission. NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

I was 2 days late in moving my remaining furniture out of storage. I was told that they do not pro-rate and that U-Haul would continue charging me until I paid for the full month
The only downside is that my unit is at the farthest end of the building, but the service was great, and it`s clean and secure.

The crew in Spokane were like family. We had a crises and needed out Aunt moved out of a terrible situation and Uhaul and the movers were amazing! Can`t thank them enough!!
U-Haul prices are to high, you can not get your bill right, can never get the store when you call. I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone must of all U-Boxes.
Staff was very helpful and although a first floor unit would have been better, loading and storage was not too difficult. I would definitely use and recommend again

office staff was always very helpful - asking if I needed anything - and returned my bag almost immediately after I accidentally left it in the bathroom! Thank you!

Uhaul needs to provide an elevator for the upstairs storage units along with much better rates...they are way too expensive for the size of the storage. Also they need much better incintives...

The air hose leaked more air than was going in the tires and the compressor was full of water because there was a lot of water coming out of the hose also..
I have rented storage spaces, trucks, and purchased propne at this U-Haul location since August of 2005 and have always received the best service and assistance.
Closing at 7:00p is too early to be reasonable.

It was difficult to see inside the unit due to no lighting. The one recommendation I would make is install a small light inside each unit.

Delivery in Sacramento was great. Otherwise, every time I called they could not find my order and switched me back and forth between ubox and uhaul repeatedly.

Other than the units being tough to get larger items into, very satisfied with the storage facility.
I did not know I had to purchase a specific lock to use the storage facility and there should not be an additional charge for 24 hour use.
I have been using services at this location off and on since August 2005 Storage Units, Truck rentals, boxes, etc. I have always received great service and assistance.
I was given the wrong information over the phone about when I could access and close out my unit. The people on site were not happy when I showed up after hours and were barely civil.
Kelli was very helpful and nice.
In April of 2011, we learned that our trailer was vandalized back in the summer of 2010 and we were not notified. Please have someone contact me so I can further elaborate on the incident.

Convenient place to store my things
THere were problems with staff on days when I needed access. Not enough keys. The alarm went off when it was raining.
Everything was good but very very expensive.
I commend the staff, and particularly the manager, Jessica, for outstanding helpful and friendly customer service. Jessica is tops in my book.
Security for outside storage is terrible. When I first stored my boat there, they had guard dogs. Now, low fences and no protection. Moved out after several thefts and no notification.
This is by far the best experience I`ve had at this U-Haul location. Often there are long lines, but this time there was no wait and Kelli was extremely helpful and friendly.
Jessica and the rest of the Uhaul gang are great! I do not recommend auto pay!!! Paying online is the best way to go enabling you to stay in control of your debt/credit card.
Reservation was booked by Tony at Rancho Cordova U-Haul. Didn`t tell me the unit was on the second floor, no elevator access. So, I couldn`t use the reserved unit. Went to Public Storage instead.
The truck that was rented has transmission issues and lots of dings small dents
I was storing a trailer. We use the trailer as a potable stage for volunteer events. I have to pay for the rental myself. Times are tough for everyone. The price was too high.
Jessica was very helpful and friendly. She has helped me with a problem with billing that appears to now be resolved. Will recommend this facility.
I had one bad experience. The lady that was at the desk was very slow and less than pleasant. She talked on the phone while helpjng me. I found this to be rude and poor customer service.

My CC was not accepted.If you are a month free storage you should tell people that you only take bank cards. If people do leave their stuff I`m sure you guys make a lot of money from it!!

My unit was robbed during regular business hours after an employee told a complete stranger what unit number belonged to me. They had no trouble getting in the door and accessing all the units.
little bit concerned about lack of barbwire on the fences. Seems easy for vandals to trespass and break into stored cars.

WHILE MY MOTORHOME WAS STORED IN YOUR FACILITY IT WAS BROKEN INTO 4 TIMES AT A COST TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE OF $4,000 TO $5,000 EACH TIME. RV SPOTS ARE HARD TO FIND IS THE ONLY REASON I STAYED
The employees were very helpful. Our rental unit needed to be swept and mopped and the employee ensured that the unit was cleaned by the time we arrived with out belongings.
Service was very good. I was assisted by the manager who was very friendly and professional.
Would prefer 24 hour access and need to have light INSIDE the storage unit. The hallway light, 20 feet up, gave almost no light into the storage unit. Made it hard to see inside it.

I worked with the u haul company on 65th and also in Mills Station and all the gentlemen were perfect. These were the gentlemen BEFORE the recent lay off.
It would be much more convenient if the storage facility had 24-hour accessability and I didn`t have to check in with an attendent first.

We found a few live roaches in our boxed items after emptying our storage unit at our office.
It would also be very helpful if there was light available inside the storage room we rented.

It was a inconvenient that the storage access closes at 7 PM, If the staff had not been accomidating I definatly would have gone with a different storage company.
