I have rented from here on several occasions. It has all been good. Plenty of friendly staff and in and out quickly.
Would be glad to elaborate more via a phone conversation, but there needs to be thorough communication on the one way return vs. two way return policy. In addition, the paperwork needs a thorough check to ensure everything has been signed and explained.

I reserved online, initially with location at Kwik kar on Custer Rd, Plano. Online said they were available on Sundays but are not. I had to go to one off 121 between Custer/independence to switch me reservation. This was inconvenient. Thankfully this store took proper care of me once there.
The box was in good condition arrived@location,however the staff was not familiar with how to work the system, resulting in billing errors and over an hour wait to be able to pick it up.
All employees at this location were very courteous and helpful especially Jennifer Wehrley and Asst. Mgr. Omar

I was mislead.. I discussed renting a dolly with a UHUAL representative from the location. I even gave the rep the name of the dolly I wanted taken from the website.. When I arrived i was then told the dolly that I wanted was not for rent but purchase only. For discussed at this.
Had a confusing experience and ended up paying more than I thought I should have paid.
It would've been nice if the associated were more knowledgeable on cargo space in the different trucks and trailers. Otherwise, very helpful and friendly.
It was interesting that I received a text late in the day near the time I was to turn in the unit. The text indicated that I was to drop off the unit several miles away from where I had agreed to leave/return the unit. I was not in a position to return the unit (on time before closing) to the location in the text. Not sure what prompted that text, and it was confusing. If it was that important, a phone call would have been better for a resolution. Other than that, I was very pleased with the customer service from start to finish. The vehicle was very clean and most comfortable to ride in for 5+ hours. I would definitely do business with this location again. Top notch team!

I was search for a local U-Haul store, after making a couple of phone calls, I decided to go rent a box truck from North Plano store (2560 Kathryn Ln
Plano, TX 75025). Here is the main reason why; Jennifer was very professional over the phone, she took her time to explain, and advised all the options. When I arrived at the store, she was very kind, welcoming, and made sure she helped me until I left with the box truck. I would definitely recommend this store due to her OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I hope U-Haul corporate office gets to read this, and rewards her!! After all, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE is what keeps customers coming back!!

Nothing - impressive customer service
The front desk experience was fine. The truck was terrible, had major play in the steering wheel (safety hazard) barley started each time. The fuel gauge was not operating properly. When I put gas back in the gauge would not move back up. Until I started driving down the road. I put about $25.00 extra fuel in it due to the malfunctioning gauge. I ask for a coupon towards my next visit. I'm a mover and use lots of UHauls. I didn't even get the courtesy of a call back from the Manager. This is how UHaul treats its steady customers?

I received 5 phone calls the day after I turned the unit in, wanting to know when I planned on returning it. The person at equipment return made no effort to make me feel like the equipment was logged as returned, despite my multiple offers to show him my contract and receipt. I was even asked if I wanted the receipt emailed to me.
Renting the unit was flawless. Returning the unit was a mess.

Make it clear on your website which equipment is available for one-way rentals, and which equipment is only available for two-way rentals. Cancel your policy of not making 5X10 enclosed. trailers unavailable for one-way rentals.
Service was great. I think it ws the Manager on Duty, but he was very helpful and went above and beyond to meet our reservation needs. Equipment was very reliable.
The wait was a little long to check in and the express check in online didn't seem to shorten the in person check in experience.

The person who waited on me said that I should take up the overpayment of my contract with Claims. I felt I was ripped off and the only thing decent about this experience was the way I was treated at the drop off location.
Have trucks full with fuel
1. Wait 10 minutes in the lobby before anyone came to help.
2. Vehicle had blood on the tail gate. Windshield was filthy.
3. Got charged a gas fee after I had refilled the vehicle.
I appreicated the friendly and helpful service and the fact that I was thanked for using Uhaul.
This location was great. Not far out of my way. Texas is a Big State so Anything close is GREAT!!!

Renting a truck at U-Haul is cheaper than I expected. Paid only $42 for almost 1 day.
I have rented dozens of Uhauls with you, I have rented at least 6 ubits form this location. I have always paid, never hurt the vehicles, and never had a problem of any kind. this time was different, the manager at this location is so rude and out of line I was intimidated to go back to return the truck. long story short, I called the morning after to tell the manager I was extending the rental 10 days. he was so upset I did not call the day before he was demanding an explanation, I kept telling him I wanted to extend it for 10 more days, for a total of 15 days, and he insisted, saying that it was in my agreement, for me to call back. I asked him to please stop lecturing me and he told me to return the truck right away, I was surprised by his reaction. I told him it was impossible for me to return since I had the truck full of items, and that I was using it for temporary storage. he then threatened me to call the necessary people to retreived the truck from me and that I would face the concecuenses. I was really upset and surprised for this guy's attitude. I told him I called to give him my business and instead I was being threatened, he for sure did not like for me to ask him to stop lecturing me. I finally convinced him that I could not return it and he told me he then had to charge me for the full rental. money is not the problem, I paid. there were a few extra incidents, but what is for sure, I will never return to this location, I am very uncomfortable to see this guy. his name is Ranko Milovanovic. I spent over 1100 dollars in rental and fees just this last time, I parked your truck and didnt even put more than 30 miles for it. I consider myself a valuable customer for your business, I rent a truck at least 3 to 4 times a year, I will not ever do so from this location, and hopefully, someone can contact me and show that your company care for my business for me to continue as a customer of yours.

The ignition switch was balky and troublesome to start. The windshield is fairly well cracked on the driver's side. But the truck interior and bed was clean, and there were no issues in using it.

We use this location all the time for our rentals here in Texas. Really like Rankor, the Manager. He is very helpful and fair. He said he would open a case so that we can receive a partial credit for this last rental. This truck should have never left the lot in Aurora, CO. It needs to go into the shop for work.

The two that helped me at the start we great. The guy when I returned the trailer was nice also. He asked if I would like receipt emailed and I replied yes. I have yet to get an email with the final receipt. Would like one so I have it for my records and know that my account is closed on my rental.

Equipment was reserved, and then unavailable when I went to pick up. I should have received a phone call. The bill was wrong, but ended up getting fixed. I called with a question and was put on hold and passed around 3 times

Maybe wash out the inside floor of the trailer. The previous renter left a lot of black residue that would rub off onto my furniture. Overall it was great though. Fast and easy when I picked up and dropped off the trailer. A++

Didn't want/need the bag of blankets/dolly in back that are offered for a small fee. Needed the room and they got in the way. All else ok.
Don't call me every day asking when the truck will be back. The roads are icy, why do you think it took me so long? Also the truck needs work as I was never sure it would start. Lastly don't give me the bigger truck and charge me more when the size I ordered was not avalaible.
The truck was very old and dirty inside the cabin. I had a hard time starting the truck on a couple occasions. I would be very afraid it would breakdown on me if I were driving a very long distance. Overall, the transaction and the interaction with the employees at this location went smoothly. I would have given them an excellent rating if it were not for the very old truck.

I was impressed with how quickly the staff processed my reservation and I was out the door in less than 15 minutes. I also left something behind in the truck cab after returning it and the staff very quickly retrieved it for me and had it at the front desk by the time I returned to the office. I absolutely will use this location in the future.

I found nothing that needed improving from my point of view. I was pleased with what I saw and the truck that I rented.
Equipment was very worn. Needed to keep the truck for an additional 4 hrs but was charge an entire day even on the accessories. Complete rip off. That is not customer focused.

Trouble 3 Days in a row with internet should've been more serious than just shrugging your shoulders. If this is an ongoing problem the location should consider their contingency plans because asking customers to wait a little while isn't very appealing to people who are likely trying to accomplish a task in a specific window.

While the service at the facility was good, U-Haul shipped my containers against my expressed wishes.
Do not ship U-Box containers until the customer explicitly agrees to shipment. U-Haul shipped my containers against my explicit request even after informing me that they would cancel my shipment.
I was given the "wrong" trailer and several miles from your facility while on a toll road was called on my cell phone and asked to bring it back. The trailer they swapped it for was identical to the one I returned. This cost me a half hour and a couple of bucks in tolls. Bad move on your part, U-Haul!

I had reserved a truck at David's automotive in The Colony, TX. When I arrived to pick up my truck, it was not available. I was then sent to a location in Plano....they did not have any trucks, either. In the meantime the movers had arrived at my house. I was then sent to this location for a truck. The truck ran "ragged" and was very jerky. I could barely reach the gas pedal and brake pedal. The window shield was so dirty and smeary that when the sun was shining, it was difficult to see out. I have rented from U Haul several times before, but this was not a good experience. Due to having to drive all over to find a truck (which I had reserved several days prior), I had to pay the movers more money, and pay more mileage+more gas. I will reconsider whether to use U Haul in the future.
Loved this location! The GM was nice as well as the staff. Omar was very helpful in showing us to our rental unit. Just booked this location again for another move next week.

Always great to work with this location. Extremely friendly and easy to work with. We only need a truck for about 1-2 hours tops and drop approximately 15 miles worst case scenario. The truck they gave me had 159,000 mile and it showed it but it was fine for my case.Thanks again. Terry
VERY EXPENSIVE. Rented 10' rtruck for a few hours and mileage charge was excessive.Truck service and tire light was on during the whole rental. Pricing and maintenance issue made we rethink next rental and call around, not refer people which I ALWAYS do.

U-Haul had my car and the hitch installed rated for pulling 3500 pounds. Later, when I look at my car manual, it said I shouldn't pull more than 1000 pounds. I think that should be told to the customer before they purchase a hitch or pull a trailer.

Doing a great job with presentation and location. I have not received my return conformation yet as I was told I should receive it in 15 minutes. I returned the unit around 2pm and it is now 10 minutes to 4.

When we arrived we thought we wanted a smaller truck than the one we ended up getting. The woman who helped us advised that we probably wanted the larger truck not only for its size but also because it had a ramp and dolly. I drove away thinking I had been conned into spending more than I needed to. After we moved, I want to say she was right in all respects. The size was perfect. The ramp and dolly were wonderful to have. And she also said we'd only want to move once, not go back and forth. Once again, she was absolutely correct. Thank you to her. I am glad I took her advice.

Reserved earlier the day it was needed, fast pickup, and fast return.
I rented truck for 1 day. I was charged for 2 days. The facility closed at 5pm and I brought it back that evening. I was overcharged on gas, came back with 5/8 filled (maybe just under) and was charged $32.00 for gas, and they wrote down the wrong mileage when I left and I corrected the guy checking the truck out to me and he said he would document it but he never did. I will never use this facility again.
They have ALWAYS been great at this location. I would go out of my way to do business with these guys.

Customer service is terrible. I stood there waiting as one guy stood behind a register, when I walked up he said he couldn't help me. Then another lady started yelling to someone who was in an office, the lady in the office yelled, I'm paying my phone bill. I finally got helped and during my processing the lady helping me kept yelling for the other employee, who eventually just got up and shut the office door.
The guy who delivered my van to the front parked pretty far from where I was standing... then went and moved his personal vehicle closer to the building ... I finally had to walk up and confirm all my numbers to assure it was my van. He never acknowledged me.
The employees at this location are in their own world and couldn't care about customers. Especially the lady in back who couldn't be bothered because she was paying her cell phone bill on line.
This location rescued U-Haul from a scathing complaint on your Gary Burns location. The folks at this location were fantastic all the way around. Unfortunately, it takes 3 "atta boys" to over come an "Ah sh*t". I lost over an hour of time and paid extra. According to my bank, my and other customer's experiences of 11/8 were the fault of the locations failure to maintain their computer communications equipment. I recommend a small capital investment , replacement of management (not personnel) and/or shutting it down.

The truck took ten-fifteen minutes of driving before it finally started blowing heat out of the vents. Took bumps horribly. The lights on the truck are sub-par. Made driving at night really difficult. Was the perfect size for all my belongings, though.
I rent a Uhaul every month from Tuesday night at 6:00 and return it every Sunday night. I am charged an additional day every single month. I call and they take care of the extra day charge. It would be so nice if I didn't have to do this every month.
Was never greeted outside after obtaining initial contract. Sure you have security cameras, but I just drove off without having someone look for damage on the vehicle with me. There was considerable damage already marked on the vehicle before I drove off.

Solid recommendations on trailer size for my car. Also, the UHaul rep highly recommended a transmission oil cooler for my auto - roughly $135 installed. What a deal! UHaul needs to advertise this - I would have had this done years ago if I knew UHaul did this.

Only problem I had was in the summer when I was going through some boxes in my unit. It was dark and very hot.
I got stuck in the elevator. The Plano Fire Dept got us out Thee staff did not care or act concerned . The emergency button in the elevator was broken. I`d like all of my money refunded from uhaul

I had to make three trips to complete thre transaction.
I had to make three trips to u-haul location to help moving help guy to get the u-boxes. It was a harrasement by the u-haul. They blamed software, could not process my order by several attempts.

Very nice facility and the Staff Ranko - Rachel always went out of there way to be helpful.
The only issue is a few times going to the counter, the person wouldn`t be able to help because they didn`t know about that business line and would have to get someone else, resulting in another wait.

The initial person I dealt with was great, but the general manager Ranko was terrible. He was very condencending and I did not like the way he treated my wife.

After I had checked out of my storage unit, I received a notice of overdue rent for a totally different unit than mine.

Access to storage was during operating hours, which ended at 7 PM most days. It would have been much more convenient if access was available later in the evening or even 24 hours/day.

Manager of this facility rented me last big one he had. Then when today to put my lock on it and there was this HUGE POLE TAKING UP ALOT OF SPACE IN IT. I am very upset.
Rental for 400 sq ft. Pillar = NOT 400 sq ft. Paying for 400 sq ft. No reduction in price for reduced sq ft. Feel cheated.

There is just one comment I would add: it would be helpful if there were more maps and directions throughout. My husband got lost and walked and walked.
There is a stairwell near the elevator on the second floor that is pitch black no lighting of any kind. It has been that way for a year and a half. someone may get seriously hurt using those steps.

The staff facility are wonderful. They have everything you need to help you with your storage moving needs.
The continued price increases were very disappointing and ultimately provided motivation to discontinue renting space.
pricing was very high compared to competitors and the location was really out of my area which made the access hours hard to manage. found another facility for 1/2 the cost and twice the size.

I think if you have already paid for the month and then move out in the middle of the month you should get your prorated money back. It`s ridiculous for the company to make double on a unit.

I kinda expected the rental rate to be pro-rated for the unused days on the contract but was told company policy didn`t allow pro-rating.

I`ve used this facility twice now and it has been a good experience both times.
I moved out of my storage unit on June 12. I was charged for an extra month for rental even though I did check out in the office.
Ranko and the other employees were all very helpful and kind. You can tell everyone really cared about their job and customers. Definitely coming back for any future storage or moving needs!

closing time is 7pm. This barely gives anyone a chance to access their storage unit if they work during the day. Normal access hours should be until 9pm most nights.
2 price increases in a year? A unit for x months/year incentive would b a rebate or price reduction. The longer one stays the more one pays..an incentive to leave. Comments r meant 2 b constructive

Based on previous experience. Not able to rent a unit as the one your system said was available was not. My money was returned and I am on a waiting list.
GM to harsh!! When talked to he never wanted to listen just wanted to blame you. Lighting over unit was out and bulbs never changed in the 5 months I was there.

Contacts tried to be personal when dealing with customers. They worked with customer to find available units that would be convenient for them when asked.
