Staff was exceedingly friendly and accommodating!
The truck had two different leaks
Noticed vehicle had a lot of dog hair covering the seats. Not a huge deal as we only needed truck for a short time, but it could really uise a good cleaning on the inside.
The people were fantastic, however, the truck should not have been used for long distance. It shimmed when you tried to go above 50mph. The transmission was shifting, very difficult to get in and out of gear.
Other than that we made it ok.
Quick and friendly service. We rented a cargo van 30 minutes before closing time and we were never made to feel like we weren't appreciated. We were in and out in 15 minutes with a brand new van and everyone from the manager, to the customer service rep, to the technician outside treated us like were the first customers of the day, rather than the last. We will definitely be back and will recommend this location when the situation arises.
I have used this UHaul location multiple times and it is always top notch in service and facilitates
Have a sign that says don't park here. You might get blocked in with after hours returned vehicles.
The people there are so friendly and helpful. I truly wish other businesses had people like yours working for them. The world would be a much nicer place if they did. And it's been that way every time! Keep up the good work.
Walked in and none of the employees said anything to me except make awkward eye contact untill I said I needed a truck. Prices were not explained to me and I paid for way too big of a truck. If one thing could be improved, I would say the costumer service. The truck was reliable and I did get the job done, but I will most likely not return to this uhaul.
All was well done overall. Only thing that caught me by surprise was the final bill which was emailed to me -- it had additional charges that were not fully explained up front (environmental fee, gas fee) ... I used the uHaul for less than 15 miles overall, returned on full but still got dinged on that gas fee ... perhaps it's nitpicking but it was important to me. To be fair, good customer service -- yet be more up front about the billing. Thanks!
Awesome service, every employee I talked with was friendly, courteous and exceptionally helpful, from the young teenager to the senior. It was nice to see a company with such great customer service! Best U-haul experience ever, and I have been renting for decades.
Truck needed a little attention. Windshield was really dirty and there was a loose battery cable that resulted in a service call. And the verbal directions we were given for turning off the light in the cargo area were backwards.
Haven's received my invoice via email yet, so don't know what my final balance was - that's my only complaint. Dropped off the van about 2 hrs + ago.

200 miles into the trip the a/c stopped working. Some 100 miles later the driver's side mirror would no longer hold in place. We had to stop and repair with duck tape. Later in the trip the cloth covering the cabin began to separate and fall. While driving in the rain the truck leaked causing some items we were hauling to get wet. Driving above 60 miles an hour the front end alignment was off significantly. It was the worst rental I have ever experienced with U-Haul. The folks at our rental place were quite nice and this is the first time I have experienced such worn out equipment. Gold stars, however go to all the folks at U-Haul Moving and Storage of North Plano. The rental process is made uncomplicated and pleasant. I will use them again as I have many times in the past.
The truck was very old. Transmission was very rough. I was concerned that it would give out. Fortunately, we only went a total of 29 miles.
Jennifer was great, very friendly, and made renting there and quick and easy.
It was a nice location and the truck was clean. It was just a slight hassle because the truck I had took a while to start every time you stayed it, which put some delays in my move.
The customer service clerk needs to work on her people meeting/greeting skills. She was (on a scale of 1-10---10 being great) she was a 2-3.

I originally booked my reservation for a Uhaul location closer to my home. However, they didn't have it and only notified me the day of my reservation. They did offer me a $50 credit so it did make up for it. I did have to drive about 15 miles out of the way so it was inconvenient. I also had to return it back to the same place. The location I picked it up at treated me real well and assembled and disassembled the trailer. The staff were nice and the process smooth. Other than the reservation mishap, I enjoyed my experience.
I think this location always does an awesome job. Completely satisfied with my experience.

I was caught off-guard when I found the door opening on a 5x10 trailer was smaller than the door opening of a previous rental of a 5x8. This meant I could not get a queen size mattress in the trailer as I wanted and had before. Quite disappointing.
The young man was good & experience worker that he recognized an error position with the hitch which he corrected right way even though, l have rented trailers several times from other u-hual outlet. Thanks to the young man.
Rented 2 days ago and charged a rate over what rental would be with the indication that the difference would be refunded to card. Nothing yet. Tried to have repair done on installation of Uhaul tow package that was installed. Does not work and told that tech would be there to render repair in order to rent trailer. No tech. Issues with wiring. Would not rent desired $14.95 trailer. To pick up purchased furniture forced to rent truck. Hard sell on renting cargo van instead of requested truck. Finally rented truck. Still waiting refund. Looking at scheduling repair on tow package wiring that is not correct. Disappointed in service. Disconnect between store and customer service.
Great service - attentive and efficient. Returning for another rental at this location this up coming Saturday.
Excellent service. 8 am especially pleased at how smooth all went given I made a very last minute reservation 9n Sunday. My only criticism is that the after hours return website would not allow upload of the picture and therefore I could not complete the process.
Had really bad experience with the truck ramp getting struck. Ended up making double trip which costed me more than what regular movers offer plus pain

Provide lower rates for insurance on equipment / trailers when renting over a week.
Worst uhaul experience ever, got the car hauler on my truck and got to my house to load my car on the trailer. Trailer gets disconnected and puts a big dent in my tail gate, i didn't drive 30 miles and it was already lose? Went back to the store i got it from and manager gives me a number to call and wont return my phone calls. never will i use uhaul again because now im truck fixing my truck outta pocket, mind you i had to reconnect the trailer after that happened and i drove 250 miles after that and never had a problem with it...

Wait times and time to get a rental is not good.
Also, do not like the new way of trying to get people to only keep truck for 4 or 6 hours. You advertise day rates, not 4-6 hr rates. This is the second location that is promoting this practice so must be corporate directive.
The transmission was in terrible condition and occassionally had troubles starting. But excellent service.

Very easy. Quick in and out. Dropped off after hours and only feedback I can add is to add a clearly marked are for the drop off of the trailer. I parked it in the same place where I pulled it out from. I received my receipt with no issues. Thank you!
This location called me and to tell me bring the equipment back by Saturday. I said I thought it was Friday and they said "no it is Saturday" so we used the day to unload more slowly. THEN....they billed me for the extra day!!!!
I was very impressed with the service that I received and jennifer was very professional and prompt.

I marked yes on the question about the equipment being clean & well maintained because overall it was okay. But my experience could have been much more pleasant if the agent would have vacuumed the interior and especially if they had cleaned the windshield inside the cab.

Vehicle ride was terrible. Seemed like transmission was failing, could barely make it up minor hills. Truck hesitated and rocked continuously. This truck needs to be put down
The writing process for someone to hitch up the trailers at this location is EXTREMELY disorganized and takes much too long

The drop off location and they didn't check in the car tow, they just checked in the truck, got a call the next day from u haul asking when we were going to return told we did at the same time as the truck.
Newer u-haul tires would have eased my mind during my transportation. But everything did go as planned.

Only thing I suggest is I don't think it's necessary to receive 7 total emails regarding reservation, confirmation, and receipt. It's a little excessive, but overall this place is on it!

Omar was fast and excellent explaining all of our info to us and got us going as soon as possible. Mark got us the truck and did a really great job going over all the info, and the return was very easy. Made our move very smooth. We have used your Kathryn U-Haul 3 times and have had several men that have been excellent! Keep hiring men, they handle the job and don't micro-manage! I will give than another try at getting everything correct. Normally they are very good but they were a little below normal this time.
I reserved the truck a week ahead of time. When arrived at the store, they only had a van available. Was not very happy about this, as it caused more trips to be done. They did end up giving us a discount on the mileage.
Overall excellent experience. Everyone was really cordial and professional. I will be renting more from this location.
Very accommodating when I needed to change my rental time last minute. Fast trailer hookup and disconnect - no issues.
While removing trailer it was discovered ball hitch was not tightened during installation, a dangerous situation.
Some of your employees were rude. I asked a question about the tolls, and he acted like I was stupid and just should have known how that work. If you're guys would treat a customer with a little more respect & have "some" patients, I would refer people to this location.

Second time in a week that we have used this Uhaul location and they were just as awesome as the the first.
This is about the U-Haul location at 2560 Kathryn Ln, Plano, TX 75025.
I was due to return the rental truck on Sunday 09/20. I had an emergency on Sunday morning so called up and spoke to Keisha at this location to check if I can return the truck in the evening and whether I would be charged extra. She SPECIFICALLY checked the system and said there would be no extra charge. However to my surprise I received a receipt this morning via email with a charge for 2 days. I called back at the location and a guy answered the call. when he heard my concern he said someone would call me back to talk about it. I wait for over 6 hours but no call. So I call back and the call gets routed to some other location. This time the person who answered said he cannot do anything about it nor can anyone at the location from where I had rented the truck so he transferred me over to customer service. A very old lady came on the line, heard me out and gave me a reference number and said some one from the location from where I rented the truck would call me back in 3 days! (no one out there in your company seems to know who is the right person who can help an unsatisfied customer)
To add to the woes, she tells me if I don't hear back from anyone then I need to call back after 3 days! WOW - what level of service you've got. (When i call the location to complain, a person says someone will call me back but no one does. When i call again another person says customer service will help me out and customer service says someone from the location will help me out! I AM SO IMPRESSED!)
I therefore called the location again and spoke with Alexia. She finally said she is refunding back the charge for the extra day to my credit card but after all this i am not going to believe her until i see the credit back on my statement online!
Not sure if I am interested in renting back again from this location anymore even though it's very close to my house.

Roof leaked during rain on our contents. Driver door was difficult to close. Rear door was difficult to close on the last 12 inches.
Plano uhaul has an excellent group that cares about their work. They helped make my move as easy as possible in the Texas heat. We will be using them again in the future.

Third time I have rented from this location and the experience has been nothing short of excellent every time.
I still do not have my account cleared. I was told the $50 lien fee would be removed from my accountant it is still there. My phone calls have not been returned.
Chronic problems with equipment and returns tell the store to answer the phone. Im going to start using Penske or Home Depot for my in town tasks.
You need to fire the staff at that store starting with the manager….

The pickup location was changed to 3901 N. Central Expressway Plano, TX 75023. Upon arrival, the trailer I reserved was rented out to someone else, I had to drive 25 minutes out of my way to get another one! I was told this occurred because they called me but couldn't get in touch with me to confirm. I had absolutely no voice messages from anyone at this location. If I called and made a reservation and I did not cancel, OBVIOUSLY I NEEDED THE RESERVATION!!!!! My entire schedule was thrown off due to this. I was told that I was supposed to be reimbursed $50 since my reservation was not available but when I called back over, after being transferred 3 times I was hung up on. The above mentioned location has blemished U-Haul reputation! I am already sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and I have also warned family and colleagues against using U-Haul due to poor customer service. You all can improve service by allowing customer friendly, non-lying vendors to represent the U-Haul brand. I have NEVER received such horrible customer service in my life!
a mix up occurred and the trailer I had pre-rented was not available. They worked with me to get me into a truck (the only thing available that was big enough for my needs) and with the $50 rebate for not having the trailer I had reserved the total cost was about the same.

Be realistic with your advertising on the $19.95 special. It was no where near with taxes, surcharges, .59 cents per mile and gas refill. Ended up costing $57.00!!!! We only kept the Van for one hour and went 17 miles.
Overall the unit was clean but it had a strong smell of something like gas. Not sure if that is what it was but it was obvious as soon as you opened the door. It left some of what we had in the unit with a smell for a bit. If we'd had to use it for a longer period I suspect it would have been stronger.
I returned trailer one day early and get a phone call saying when will return it. Rep gave me a receipt after handing my contract. I didn't bother to look at it. Trailer was returned under someone else's name.
Very good experience. Employees were very courteous and helpful. I will be back.

This facility is simply the best U-Haul affiliated location I've ever encountered, and I've used U-Haul for years. Excellent, excellent, excellent customer service.
Efficient experience w/ the online app and text confirmation notification. Service during pick up and return were great. The only minor discrepancy was the pick up time selected on the app was different than the confirmation time sent via text, but upon calling the service location it was corrected. Thank you for making the rental an easy process!

Have used this location multiple times and they always have the truck or trailer I need when I need it. I'm the type of guy that will decide the night before or morning of that I need/want to move something or haul a load of stuff to the dump so I always just walk in and get what I need, have not had an issue of them not having it. People are very nice there as well.

Best damn experience ive ever had. Employees there were epic!! Especially the manager! Last time I used UHaul was like 14 years ago and it was an awful. Truck was from 1968. This experience was so bad ass Ill go their and rent stuff anytime I buy something big like a couch or anything I cant fit in the car. The manager as I said was great and their was some girl working their Sunday that helped me extend my rentAl and she was totally awesome as well!!!

I stopped at that service station on Custer and filled the tank, but I was still charged for fuel? This is the first time I have used the after hours drop off. I guess I need to take a picture of the fuel next time I use it.
Overcharged by mistake and I made two calls to the office to get a refund and both times they say they will call me back but have not.
Everything was perfect, pickup, equipment, drop-off. Highly recommended. Thank you for the great service.

The back fold down on the trailer would not come down. Making it a little more difficult to use. We were able to lift the couches over it and get the job done. I am still pleased with the service.
There was a posted sign in the truck that said you could leave your boxes behind to be reused for another customer. We did so, to be environmentally friendly, and then was told that there would be a $25 clean up fee for leaving them behind. I would recommend leaving taking that sign out of the cab. It just caused hard feelings.
The first young employee appeared agitated but older gentleman much nicer and helped.
I was overcharged for something I purchased (a lock was charged as a dish shipping set so ~$5 more). I also felt like I was being rushed upon pickup but it seemed short staffed that day. The truck and everything was great.

Have more trucks available! I needed the truck for one more day , manager was very upset because the uhaul was already rented to someone else. He was very unprofessional and didn't even try to work a time out with me. More trucks should be available in case of emergencies. Moving isn't easy or predictable at times. Thanks

Van was great, an appropriate for my need. There was just some type of white dried stuff on the ribber floor mat in the van. You know, Salmonella?? IDK. Otherwise this was a good experience and everyone was friendly and helpful.

Do not change reservations without customer's knowledge or consent. Also if vehicles aren't available in one location but are available in another, have a rep drive the vehicle to the correct pickup location. Don't inconvenience the customer.
Had to wait for 10 minutes due to business of the location and only two people staffed.
I rented a vehicle tow dolly. The driver's side tail light stopped working part-way through my trip. It was working when I left, but apparently the internal connector at the light worked its way loose. May need to look at a method to secure the connector better.
There was some confusion on the dolly rental only return policy. I was told one thing the day I rented them and told something different the day I returned them. It all worked out and I wasn't overcharged or anything, I was just a bit confused as to what to do when returning them.
This is a busy location on Saturday, but since I came in with an online reservation and did the Express Online Check-In, it was fast and easy. Plenty of counter help and lot help kept things moving.
Great people there. Worked hard to help me move when they were no trailers available.

I rented one of the newer vans with very low miles. I was impressed with the level of efficiency (mpg) and comfort of the vehicle. It was a 573 mile rountrip and U-haul automatically put me into a better plan than the one I had reserved for to save me money. Great service overall!

The address given to us for returning the trailer was no longer in service, so my suggestion would be to double check those return locations.

Had a few older vehicles in rotation that really need some repair/attention as sun visors were broken, the tray where you can sit your keys/drinks was broken/not functioning properly (this was all on the 2nd day's truck rental...the 1st day's truck rental was in great condition!)

I rented an open 6' by 12' utility trailer with a ramp for approximately 6 hours on July 1, 2015. I returned the trailer at 4PM on the same date and told the attendant that I wanted a printed paid invoice not an e-mail invoice. I went inside the office and he gave me a check-in condition receipt not an invoice. I didn't realize what he had given me until I returned home. When I realized that he had not given me an actual paid invoice, I called the North Plano location and explained to the fellow who answered the phone what had happened. He looked up my rental agreement and apologized that the trailer had not been checked back in and said that he would do so right away and then send me an e-mail receipt. I never received the e-mail by 1PM the next day. I called back to the North Plano office and talked to Lauren who resolved the issue immediately. She sent me an e-mail paid invoice while we were talking.

Used a storage unit in my appliance repair business to have my supplier drop off parts for me to pick up. Always worked great for 7 years.just retired. Both Brad and Ranko provided excellent service.
On site ability to assist is too limited. Storage is insufficient creating inconvenience, loss of time and minimized access contrary to advertised promises direct and implied.

The guaranteed arrival date of my box was 6/5 but it was 3 days late and I have yet to see a $50 refund for every day it was late. Also, you guys couldn`t even locate my box for 2 days...

The box was in good condition arrived@location,however the staff was not familiar with how to work the system, resulting in billing errors and over an hour wait to be able to pick it up.
Think hours of access in evenings should be extended to 9PM.
Had a leak in my storage room. Was not advised, most of my items were damaged or destroyed. Will never use Uhaul again and will relate my experience to others
Overall good. I just couldn`t keep getting increase in rent and stay.

Only problem I had was in the summer when I was going through some boxes in my unit. It was dark and very hot.
I got stuck in the elevator. The Plano Fire Dept got us out Thee staff did not care or act concerned . The emergency button in the elevator was broken. I`d like all of my money refunded from uhaul

Storage prices are too high. You should consider giving customers in good stand for a year a month free for appreciation.

I had to make three trips to complete thre transaction.
I had to make three trips to u-haul location to help moving help guy to get the u-boxes. It was a harrasement by the u-haul. They blamed software, could not process my order by several attempts.

Very nice facility and the Staff Ranko - Rachel always went out of there way to be helpful.
The only issue is a few times going to the counter, the person wouldn`t be able to help because they didn`t know about that business line and would have to get someone else, resulting in another wait.

The initial person I dealt with was great, but the general manager Ranko was terrible. He was very condencending and I did not like the way he treated my wife.

Access to storage was during operating hours, which ended at 7 PM most days. It would have been much more convenient if access was available later in the evening or even 24 hours/day.

Manager of this facility rented me last big one he had. Then when today to put my lock on it and there was this HUGE POLE TAKING UP ALOT OF SPACE IN IT. I am very upset.
Rental for 400 sq ft. Pillar = NOT 400 sq ft. Paying for 400 sq ft. No reduction in price for reduced sq ft. Feel cheated.
