I don't appreciate the surprise $15.00 charge for "not sweeping the truck" with my last rental. I had cleaned the truck and even folded all the moving blankets.
Since I have needs that involve more truck rentals I will rent elsewhere unless I immediately receive a $15.00 credit.
Good Customer Service Reps (nice guy) quick service. All around a very good experience. Will return.
Staff on the phone was a lot more friendly than staff that typed up my contract. Van was dirty externally. But okay with it since the inside was clean.

The van we rented was in very good mechanical shape, but far from clean. The windows were filthy, the cupholders, etc. were full of drips and crumbs, and there was a nasty sticky spot on the rubber floor mat in front of the passenger seat, that my foot stuck to. The seats were full of crumbs and stains. It was gross.
Staff was courteous , fast and helpful
I rented a dolly for $10 and it was unfortunately stolen from my van and I was charged $75 as a result. This is a ridiculous charge, especially since I have insurance on the truck itself. Not cool, Uhaul.
The trucks were not there as promised. The truck was then broken. I had to change a flight to go back and drive my car instead of using the tow dolly I had reserved. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE OVERALL.

Make sure gauges work properly. fuel gauge did not work and the ABS light kept coming on.
The gentleman that helped was check the truck in was amazing! However, the two people that were obviously ending their shift found it funny to walk in front of your truck as we pulled into the facility. It was obvious that it was a conscious decision because we made eye contact and then he looked at the other man and said something and they both laughed. With that said we will see you next move U Haul.
Tires were out of balance so the truck vibrated. Radio worked sporadically. Tailgate was not fully operational

This location has had its issues with not enough staffing as well. Overall, my experience has been a good one with this location and I would not hesitate to use it again.
I was charged for 3 gallons of gas even though I only used one. I will not be going back to this location.

oh...I was nearly assaulted by day laborers running around my car to beg for a job. I am supportive of these guys hustling for work but they are out of control and scared the shit out of me, nearly ran me over when one flew around my car.
Everything went quite well from the front desk to the turn-in place. See you next time.

Well, not knowing how many miles I would put on, I bought 5 gallons on the front end to be sure I returned it with 1/4 tank as agreed upon. I traveled all of 15 miles.
It would have been upstanding to have been given some arbitrary amount of credit.
Recommend that trucks be returned with a 'Full' tank of gas. It's a lot easier because the pump will automatically stop when tge tank is full. Rather than pump gas, stop, turn on the key to see how full the tank is, pump more gas, etc. Even with the estimator tool you have, it's still a pain.
Do not send junk mail like this, txt msgs. Basically fuck off for everything you are not hired for.
I suggests that customers be warned in advanced about moving trucks without a ramp. it save time for the customers and the shop having to switch them out.
The location I rented from are crooks. I refueled the vehicle after use and they claimed I did not and changed me a total of over 58$ for fuel and service fee. I have the gas receipt to prove it!!!!
This location is slow and rips hard working people off!

While the cashier was very helpful and patient, the employee who checked out the truck to us, Anthony, was quite surly. When we returned the truck at 5:10pm (as our receipt indicated the truck needed to be returned before 5:15pm), Anthony said "We closed at 5pm you needed to be back by 5pm" and rushed through the truck return process. I don't understand why I would be instructed on the receipt to return the truck by 5:15pm if they want the truck back at 5pm. Also, I should not be charged for 4 hours of time if the expectation is that I would be returning the car 15 mins early to get there at 5.
I received excellent customer service both checking out and checking in the truck.
A lot of labor seekers out in front, but they didn't cause any problems.
The movers were wonderful. They did a fantastic job. They know their business. Both were extremely professional! I would definitely recommend them to a friend.
nothing. everything about this location is good business. The best part is the availability of free parking overnight while you rent the truck. Other places do not have that perk. Good doing business with the Raymond Ave Pasadena location.

Nothing wrong with the location but was overcharged 8.16$. when I called they insinuated I lied. Other than that it was ok.

I got a lock where I do not know where it came from. Then I got a charge of $50. It said that I can get refund for that, but I have not got that so far one month later.
although it didn't affect me, they did not check inside the trailer.

I returned the truck on October 8th, 2015, Thursday. The staff was very prompt, and said all was okay, but did not give me a check out receipt. Staff said everything was paid according to the contract.
Uhaul made our move easy and fast! I am disappointed with an employee who seemed bothered to answer questions I had about the final charges. Ms. Gutierrez should not be on the phone assisting customers.

I have no complaints about this place, the employees are always very nice and I would happily rent again.
The U-Haul associate who processed our rental and handled the paperwork was very friendly and great. However the associate who handled the truck return was smarmy and even tried to rip us off until he finally acquiesced. The truck we rented had a broken driver's side visor which kept swinging down into view when driving the truck making it not only irritating but dangerous. When we told the guy who processed the return about it, he laughed about it. Other than that the truck was OK, but the overall experience with U-Haul was not what we expected based on rentals in the past.
I arrived on time (actually a few minutes early) to get the pick-up truck I had placed a reservation for. It took some time to get the paperwork and payment processed, but I then had to wait about twenty minutes to get off the lot because an employee had left the lot with the key to the truck--the last truck available. No one seemed very much concerned about it. One worker whose name I neglected to get mentioned they would "see about" giving me a credit for some of the time I would have the truck but of course when I got the bill I was charged the full amount. The equipment was just fine and the location is really ideal for me, but the service left a lot to be desired.

This is how UHaul facilities across the country should operate!
Suppervisor stated that he didnt have the size truck I was requesting available and I would have to take a larger one. I stated I would need teh truck for 24hours but he still called and pressured us to return it early. No price adjustments were made in price for the oversize truck, or the rushed return so "No" I do not think they deserve our future business.
This location only had 2 employees on staff on 10/4/15. There was a long wait to return the trailer because there were 8 vehicles/trailers being returned at the same time. You should have more staff on the day after the first weekend of the month.

Super fast and easy return. It probably took 1 minute! This location is also very close to a bus stop and a metro rail Gold Line stop, so if you live in the area, it's nice to have public transportation as an option to get back home if you are returning solo.

Rates seemed higher at this facility than other locations. My cost to return a trailer to the city where I rented a larger trailer 3 months ago cost $75 more to go the opposite direction for the smallest trailer. California rip?
I had to pay extra because they told me I could not bring the truck back I had to leave it in a different city that was 31 miles away and I had to pay a taxi to take me back home a waste of my time and money and I had to pay more for the truck I will never use hual again I rather pay a moving company and if you can see on my file I would use you guys about 1 once per year I will let all my friends know what my experience was like and hope they never go threw it

Didnt use most of the equipment, Would be nice if you would offer a refund for that. Blankets were still in the original bag. And furniture trolley was too big so couldn't use it. I asked when I returned it but was told no.
Got home, put vehicle on trailer. I started to secure front passenger tire and found the strap was frayed all the way across. I had to get straps and secure my vehicle in my own manner.
This is NOT the first time that I have had an issue with this rental site.
Upon returning your auto transport trailer, I informed the lot person and was directed to the office. I explained the situation. Another customer came in and needed an auto transport as well... they were going to re-rent what I had just returned, until I told the customer about the strap.
The lead person on duty assured me that there would be a NO CHARGE for this rental.
May I suggest that you FIRMLY ENFORCE a SAFETY CLASS, for your personnel - ESPECIALLY THE LOT PERSONS.
I have rented there and left the lot with the chains dragging, another time the lights were not hooked after I supplied my own light adapter for the units to be connected.
People NEED to realize how DANGEROUS this is with a vehicle being towed, especially at a higher rate of speed and how easily a life can be lost, due to their lack of completing what they are being paid to do!!

I wish that there was a later time to return a van in the same day. I got there just as they closed.
I was told i had an option to keep the vehicle longer for the same rate. As it turned out I was hounded, given the runaround and penalized for doing so.

my general comment is that the booking/reservation and actual picking up the trailer is mostly inefficient. When I went in person the man got my credit card, drivers license and he should have filled the entire contract ready to go. When I cam in the morning to pick up the trailer I had to stand in line for the verification and contract signing. What bothered me is that the attendant in the yard had a portable computer that all my information was in as well as a scanner of the contract. My suggestion is that once I arrived at the yard and present a contract from my reservation the day before he could proceed in performing the hook up task and I would be on the way instead of spending time the day before for reservation and another half hour the next day waiting in line to sign a contract.
For that part of the transaction my grade will be fail as that is a very inefficient customer service.
I stopped going to U-Haul ages ago because of the staff. I drove by and noticed the building improvements and quality of trucks in yard. Decided to give it another shot, and was glad I did. The staff were competent, INTELLIGENT, and professional, I will return to this site for my truck rental needs.
I didn`t spend much time physically at the premises, but the time I did spend left me with a positive impression.
Large stock of available vehicles, professional customer service, easy in-out of the facility and a large showroom with boxes, trailer accessories and moving materials. I will use them again!
I have had my debit card for 9 mos. Your staff use an old slide system that keeps a copy of my debit card. I just heard from my bank that the card was compromised. I will be reporting this location for credit card fraud investigation.
It was explained to me that the van I had rented was not clean due to water conservation. That was a good enough reason for me.
The service was Excellent the person who attended to my truck was both professional and personalized making my experience memorable. More men like him.
your reservation system is cumbersome. You ask way too many unrelated questions before accepting my reservation.
The whole experience was great. The only thing that I found lacking was the email confirmation did not have the address on it.
The Uhaul was late to open on the Sunday we picked up the van. A group of people were waiting outside the front door. I was told to come early as there is usually a line in the morning. I called the general manager number which was indicated on the front door in case of problems. Finally at 9:15 am someone showed up and asked us to wait a few minutes until they could get set up.
Check in took way too long. Dispatch took way too long and ate 20 mins into my rental time when they had to reassign a vehicle to me.
My u-boxes were shipped to the wrong location. I can`t get them to the right one. Everyones nice but can`t help. Im transferred to different dept and told someone will call me but they dont
The service by uhaul employees was great / efficient and the van worked perfectly and was easy to drive. That said, I didn't realize gas wasn't included so that was a bit frustrating—the vans and website only say "+ mileage and fees" and that's misleading, it should be gas, mileage, and fees so people with tight budgets can better account for this cost, especially in California where gas is so expensive. The van also smelled unpleasant.
I was very pleased with the staff that helped me (Mr. Decker and Anthony) as well as with the equipment (GMC pick-up). Had no appointment but was helped quickly upon check out and check in. Very pleased.
Everything was, as usual, great EXCEPT that this truck REEKED of cigarette smoke. Other than that, everything was fine. At least put in an air freshener for the next person.
I received very good service. The truck exactly what I needed, though there was quite a large dent on my vehicle. I understand it may not have been cost effective to repair it, but it was a bit embarrassed to drive it.

When I made my reservation the sales rep was great and confirmed everything. I rented a truck til 1pm. An hour later a rep named Gabriel called and said they needed the truck back by 11, because they got double booked. His customer service was insulting and made it out to be my fault they were double booked. He was not helpful in trying to come up with resolutions, alternatives, or understanding the error was on their end. If I had not already made other commitments I would have cancelled the rental all together.
The non-commissioned day laborers should not be allowed on the property. Even after I told one I didn't need help he kept asking if I had money. I thought I was going to have to tase him. I thought the other one was going to do something for refusing "help" from him too. Creepers. But the staff and equipment have always been great.
Gabriel was excellent over the phone providing information that let me know the available options.

Jim the manager called to say that there was not truck available at the time that I made the reservation. During the phone call he said he would call when the truck came in. He never did. While I was moving, I realized that I never heard from him and phoned to see when I could pick up the truck. They had already gone home. I was a whole day down, lost the use of the help that I had lined up because they had to work the following day. Very unprofessional handling. There was zero apology from Jim, and very little compensation refunded to me for their poor handling of their scheduling and my loss of use for the vehicle that I had reserved 7+ days in advance. Word of caution: a reservation at Raymond St. Pasadena Uhaul means nothing and the manager doesn't care.

Check in was easy as well as the check out. Staff as very nice ant easy to work with.
The fuel at check out was below indicated on the receipt. I mentioned it to the check out guy but he didn't seem to care. I filled it up to the place indicated on the paper anyway and was still charged a refill fee. It was just like $8 (gallon and a half) but it was annoying on both ends. Otherwise, the experience was positive.
Rude and very slow costumer service. Not helpful at the check out time.
I called ahead (about 10 minutes prior to closing) to inform the staff tghat I was dropping off a cargo trailer and would be a few minutes after the close. I was told, by an employee, that if I arrived "even one minute after closing, [I] would not be helped". When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was disconnect. When I called back to AGAIN request to speak to a supervisor, I was transferred to the company customer service--NOT the on site supervisor. The company customer service agent was kind enough to AGAIN contact the site and request that someone "stick around for a few moments to assist with my drop off of equipment. Upon arriving, I was in fact helped by one of the employees and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes--exactly the amount of time I initially requested in my first call to have someone assist me if I arrived after close.

The location called me to state that there was "new damage" to the vehicle. I told him absolutely not. He then indicated he would "pull the paperwork." The PREVIOUS damage was documented on the paperwork.
Also, we put gas in the vehicle to ensure it had the same amount of gas as when we left (we have a receipt). They then charged us an additional $19 for fuel and then a $30 "Late fee."
These guys are shady and dishonest!

We originally ordered the truck out of the Covina Store and was suppose to pick up at 8:00am and then was changed to Pasadena due to no 26' trucks one way trucks. Needless to say this was very stressful.

The employees that I met with are great with an exception. I experienced major problems with the equipment. Road side assistance was called and the telephone person was rude and unprofessional. The technician who came out was great. Total down time was 4 hours. When I called into this location and asked if I could keep the equipment for the 4 hours of loss time so that I may finish my tasks I was told I would be charged... How ridiculous! I would not rent uhaul again nor will I recommend uhaul. I understand that equipment may fail and that mistakes happen, however, when you have an opportunity to make it right you do so, but to fail your customer for a second time in the transaction is preposterous.
Deliver rental, drop off anywhere for trailers also.. have coffee and donuts. Over all excellent service and awesome equipment. Affordable prices. Thanks UHUAL..

I need to get my two u-boxes from Pasadena, CA, back to Seattle. I can`t afford to ship them back at $2500+. I paid $1080 to get them down there, including a month of storage. I need help here!!
UHaul/MovingHelp was glitchy-had trouble with the payment code. Also quoted 2 diff. shipping prices. Store service was helpful, but the corporate system seemed flawed.
Wonderful staff would rent there again in a heartbeat.
oNly thing that needs improvement is the communication between Uhaul facilities in two different cities. Sometimes the information was wrong. Other than this, things were good.
The only negative was the people storing and getting dressed and sleeping out of the storage unit nearby.
The Pasadena U-Haul location was very helpful and friendly. The U-Haul call center on the other hand was not knowledgeable and made this process more frustrating than it needed to be.
I`ve been extremely pleased with the helpfulness of the U-Haul staff at the Pasadena U-Haul on Raymond. I went on Yelp and gave them a 5 star review.
I`ve had the one storage space for 7 months and the other for more than a year. There`s not been a time where I came out of there unsatisfied. Not even once.

This place has units that are almost all upstairs and have no elevator. You know that people are storing furniture and things like that and you want us to carry them up 3 flights of stairs?
I would not use or recommended uhual. I had asked if they can prorated or extended one day so I wouldn`t pay for the whole month. The representive said no without trying to help.
Bottom Line: the manager on duty, Jim, was professional, helpful and took every measure to ensure a pleasureful experience was realized for myself and my crew.

This facility needs to have elevators. That`s the only reason why I would not recommend it.. Otherwise the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Made a reservation online for a first floor unit for a specific price, and when we showed up on moving day, that unit wasnt available. Had to pay 50/mo more. Classic bait and switch.
I made a request prior to moving in which was not completed and was given wrong information which made my move very stressful. Will be looking for an alternate company to use in the future.
The lack of a service elevator was a disappointment.

The Chippenham, VA location shipped my box late, and told me they shipped it when they hadnt. The lock I put on the box was not on the box. Very unhappy

8x8 for 154. jammed doors, bad ramps. construction, jammed side doors. bad parking lot. pushy Day Laborers. a 10x10 at Public Storage for 75, easy parking, working doors no Day Laborers.
The owner of this facility really did the right thing and helped me out. I appreciate doing business with him and this location!

I`d rather you send these surveys out once the U-box is received at the other end. The initial experience is great--and I`m hoping the delivery side will be as well.

Staff were friendly, but wires got crossed somewhere between staff and my box was not shipped when I requested. Had other issues with the Glendale and Auburn locations.

The Ubox was great. The employee who rented our reserved double trailer to another person was not so great. He also didn`t check one box and when we tried to open it, it was bolted closed.
Staff was unhelpful, and I wanted 24 hour access. The most inconvenient thing was that the small storage units were all upstairs, so I had to carry everything up 25 feet of stairs to reach my unit.

Moving out of storage, it took 20 minutes for someone to open bay door for my truck for storage pickup. An employee had his personal car in the bay. .
The storage is absurdly expensive and there is no elevator to the second floor storage. And I`m not talking a ten-step trip either. Forty steps up with no air conditioning is ridiculous.
Overall it was pretty good, though kinda pricey.

Don`t like how the loading dock is left open while you have to go around to get you car. They say we can leave the car on the street, but there is no parking n the street.
U-Box support 2x4s were loose needing to be renailed in on sides for support.

I spent over 20 minutes on hold 6 different times trying to get through. Your taped message repeating every minute for over 20 minutes was very aggravating. The box was broken when it was delivered.

uhaul should consider using metal container instead of wood.

UBox=Worst moving experience of my life. Had to follow up many times to get my UBox shipped though requested immediate shipping, sent one week later. Use ABF for same price.
Kenny did a great job accomodating my last minute requests.............kept in contact as to what was happening......when pick up would occur.

The staff went above and beyond, stepping in to help me with my extremely heavy load and making storage accommodations when I was pressed for time. I would definitely rent from this facility again.

Keep better track of your paperwork. Don`t hire young workers that look high all the time. Don`t charge a persons credit card without prior consent. Look over every mileage carefully.

I forgot my Drivers License there. They called me immediately. I am very appreciative. Excellent Customer Service. Store hours are convenient for people working.
U-haul stays open till 7pm. Competitors close at 6pm, which is why I picked U-haul. 8pm or later would be even better for working people.

Customer Service is very friendly. We have rented a van, purchased boxes, rented a storage place, purchased hitch and installation, and soon renting a trailer. Overall, excellent center.

Called, put on hold and disconnected. Went there to rent space and return trailer. Waited 10 minutes on line to get started. Unloaded then waited 30 mins on line. One person at desk and 4 or 5 outside
I used the U-haul storage facility for ten months. The only aspect I did not like was the rate was raised within the 10 month period of time and I decided to no longer use the facility.
The staff mixed up my storage unit number and filed my personal information incorrectly.
