The added security swipe card system was not necessary. It was inconvenient to swipe the card each time you had to use the elevator. The previous method of typing in a personal code was secure enough.
Gas wasn't full We didn't realize it because the meter wasn't clear to read.

I was told that I could drop off the truck at a certain location (267 Mechanic St, Fitchberg, MA). The people at this address were not able to receive the truck due to their store not being fully operational. So, I had to do a song and dance to find a another place to drop off the truck, this, after I already put fuel into the truck per contract. After driving around all day with a gas guzzling truck, this is the last thing a person wants to hear and deal with. PLEASE, verify drop off locations before authorizing a drop off there.
A little difficult to entrance find due the fence surrounding the property. However, its understandable to protect the trucks.
Staff was rude and not helpful at all.
DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE WHEN THEY TELL YOU THE RENTAL IS FOR 24 HOURS. Completely negative experience. My reservation, made ONE MONTH ahead of time was not honored. They are attempting to squish as many rental fees onto one truck as possible. Whatever move period they give you is what they think is sufficient and even if you call that direct location ahead of time and explain that you need the whole, 24hr time to move, and give it to you, it will not be honored.
Furthermore, when you call to try to rectify the situation, they will not work with you to compensate the extra miles for a truck offered further away or for multiple trips required for a smaller van.
DO NOT RENT WITH THESE INCOMPETENT PEOPLE. They will just add the to already stressful situation of moving and also hang up on you despite politeness when they are at fault.
I would like to know how you did come out of the charges of $ 53.89.
Very simple and efficient. The entire process took less than 10 minutes.
The only thing I would change is the pricing

No one knows what they are doing here or what policy really is. One person will tell you one thing and another will tell you another thing. Worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul and I have used U-Haul a lot but I guess it is time to switch back to old reliable. More so the employees then the actual company the people at head quarters seems to know a little better than the other locations but that doesn't help because you have to then play the middle man and get everyone in the loop. I am not a U-Haul training instructor these people should know how to do their jobs and how to help the customer get what they need to get done as easy and smoothly as possible I had none of these. Will not being using U-Haul ever again.

Clean, convenient and safe seems to cover it all.
Only one problem: the manager was kind enough to set my card to late access, but it didn`t work. I was locked in the compound for half an hour. Luckily another customer let me out.
It was a good storage place for the timeframe needed.

Customer service suffered a bit when u-haul purchased the storage center. I`m glad they retained Barb who make the place wonderful.
