Either fix your network or fix your employees. Incompetent, slow, and most of all willing to shift blame on your ''faulty'' system.
My experience was a very smooth transaction picking up the vehicle & returning it.
Pickup took about 15 minutes the counter person was very polite.
Return was just as quick & also the attendant was extremely friendly & polite. Definitely would rent here again.
The staff does do a good.
this location noticed the light problem.
Very poor treatment by the employee greeting my son and I when we returned the cargo van. I don't have time to type my comments here. If someone in the company really cares about my opinion, that person may contact me to arrange a time for a verbal explanation
There was a glitch in the system, when the transfer of information from the guy checking the return mileage to going to pay.the information didn't send properly and they mentioned that that does happen. It was an inconvenience.
Make sure the truck gas level is accurate on the sign-out papers & recorded in the U-Haul system. Simply initialing the papers but not recording it in your system doesn't fix the mistake. This caused issues @ the drop off location. :(

When I rented a tow dolly in mid February, the guy that helped me said he had been employed there for two days, and wasn't sure how to hook everything up. When I dropped off the other tow dolly at the end of March, that same guy
was the only person there! He is either a really quick study, or U-Haul doesn't think that it's important to have experienced staff on hand.
Truck got 4.19 miles to the gallon it cost me 197.00 for fuel
Everyone to deal with was great and understanding Manny and Monica made the experience a breeze

Hiring another staff member for evening shift would improve customer service.
Before I ever rent again I will be sure to test drive it. The truck we got pulled to the right pretty badly. I mentioned that to the drop sight, who said they would log it into the system.
I don't have ways you can improve, what I have are complaints. It took over 40 min to get my rental.The person that I spoke with over the phone told me I had the rental for 24 hours ( no, I did not get a name). I asked for a dolly and it was not in the truck but I was still charged for the 10 dollar one even though I used the 7 dollar one in the truck ( due to their mistake). the guy who helped me was more interested in helping everyone else but me even though I had a reservation. over all this was my worst experience, I will not recommend it to my friends nor will I be using it again. Very unhappy
paid for furniture pads, did not get, had to drive extra 15 miles to get them.
The lady that rented the uhaul to me gave me a quote of 40 cents per mile, when I returned the uhaul. The guy said it was 79 cents per mile. I did not anticipate it being that expensive and I was given the wrong information. I would not recommend to anyone to go to this location until they can train their staff to give out correct information when renting a truck... Very disappointed
Have more staff to assist customers. There was 1 guy and he was trying to do everything.
Everyone there was so nice and helpful. I took some business cards in case anyone wants a storage facility. They were WONDERFUL!!!
The two guys we droped off the u haul with were very nice and very helpful it was a total great experience
I used truck for 33 miles, cost me 42.00 in fuel. 10 gallons
Have everyone know how to do their job!! When I got the uhaul the guy told me (my friend was there with me) that I could have the uhaul for 24 hours, but they wanted me to try and get it back my 9 am the next day, when I got it at 1:10. So he said if I couldn't make it in my 9 am just to call and let them know. So I called at 9 am the next day (when they opened) and told them I would have it back my 1:10 that day. I was told that he charged me the wrong amount of deposit and was charged an extra 6 dollars on the phone. The lady I spoke with was extremely rude and said the first guy didn't do his job right. When I dropped off the truck I was greated by John who was polite and professional but apparently did not know that I called in earlier to say I wouldn't be in by 9 am. John is the best guy there. When I was renting the uhaul everyone was joking around and barely focusing on their jobs as well. John deserves a raise and a higher position.

Leaking box on van my new furniture wet. Van appearance was rough. Not very satisfied . Asked for one of the newer vans and was refused. Make sure all of your are water resistant . After all that was main reason i rented. also work on better fuel mileage.
Not much, the attendant was courteous and helpful and the time spent was kept to a workable time.

The custumer services is really good!
Truck was dirty, chek oil light came on ( I had to buy and add 2 quarts as it didn't even read on the dipstick), Also powersteering was fading could't turn in a instersection. This truck should never been rented. I am very dissapointed in U-haul.

Your company charged my bank account twice. I had the trailer for less than 6 hours and you charged me for 2 days. When I called to ask about it they found that they changed me twice and said they would call me back and never did. Your company charged my account twice and over drafted it. Costing me almost $200 for an in town trailer rental of 5 hours.

Driver's side wiper blade was bent. Definitely not a good experience to have when driving through rainy conditions!

Easy to rent and pick up. When they did not have the truck I requested, they upgraded me to a bigger truck, and even threw in free miles. It was a great experience.
Worst place ever. Property was stolen but the employees did not call the police. Matt veshell descrminated against my wife and I, and the worst part is that`s not even half the problems I had.
The store manager was very helpful,was very professional and made that part of moving a great experience.

The lady behind the counter was very rude and not very helpful. I felt like I was having to pull information out of her. She said my debit card was not accepted but I had sufficient cash in my bank account. Luckily, I had more then enough cash on hand and paid in cash. Later, I found instructions on using the truck and trailer on the internet after I had arrived at my destination 200 plus miles away. I was so concerned about how the truck and trailer were operating that I called and discussed my concerns with the 800 road way number listed on the contract. These instructions should have been handed out to me on paper prior to leaving the lot.
Reserving on-line was a great time-saver.
After nine days I turned in the truck 52 minutes late.The manager, Monica Howard, told me I would be charged a full days rental for being late. I asked if she could remove the late fee? She told me if I had only been 1/2 hour late she could remove the charge, but ant time past 1/2 hr. she was not authorized to remove and that I could call "corporate" if I wanted to fight the charge, which by the way was $58.43. I did call "corporate and explained that I was essentially only 22 minutes past the time that their manager could have removed the charge. The customer service rep. was pleasant, took all my info. and said someone would call me back within three working days. One week of working days went by and no one called back, so I called customer service and talked to a person named Francisco who was rude and condescending.He told me that "corporate had decided not to remove the late charge and that I could call the manager, Monica Howard and discuss the charge with her.
This move was the first of three cross country moves I have to make. The next two will occur this summer and I will definitely use u-hauls competition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I rented the moving truck on Sunday. At 8:30am I was called by this location to confirm that I would be returning it there the following morning. Too early and too pushy. I asked if it was possible to drop the truck off at a location near the storage units we were using... the lady said NO, that they were counting on the truck as part of their inventory.
I thought there was a bit more flexibility... or at least not to feel shot down by the staff when I am asking good questions.
The girl that did our return was very sweet and efficient.
I am submitting a claim for damages to the office printer that was damaged from the trailer. The rivet on the back tie down bar broke near the end of the trip and the printer rolled around inside. The trailer was obviously old. I had two men place the printer and tie it down with a new tie down. It was double wrapped and secured to the back wall. Penny Hood

The first day I wasn`t impressed with the staff, but over the last 4 months, it has been much better.

This was the worst uHaul experience ever. The staff is the worst and even the manager.
I waited 6 wks for my box had 48 hrs to clear it thru customs. I was given the wrong paperwork. I am thoroughly disappointed with my experience.

The information provided on the internet about how much the container could hold was extremely misleading. I had to leave a lot of my furniture behind.
Newer facility , well maintained and the people working there were always friendly and willing to assist. I would not hesitate to use this facility again.

At the S 1st Street facility in Yakima, Jennifer was especially helpful and accomodating.
The Yakima was very courteous and helpful. They were very friendly and regardless of the time of day or numbers of demanding customers they retained good humor.
Even though we reserved 3 days before- getting checked in took forever and they had to get another box for us. Feel like reserving is a waste of time

My biggest complaint was being under staffed. Two guys against 12 customers was a bit much. Both were very friendly and tried to move as fast as possible.
Very disappointing that my rent was not pro-rated.I can assure word will get around.Letting all my friends, family,and colleagues know that their money is taken advantage of.

I was treated very poorly by the staff and i was in hospitol and couldnt get there to pay and storage was auctioned off so no im not happy with the fact of being treated like that

Service was a bit slow when picking up the U-Box, the location was understaffed.
It was a good experience although the close out was not smooth and I was sent emails that the unit was still under contract

The boxes are too small for large furniture. If i had to do it over, I would rent a truck and go through the load unload store load unload.

Given different dates of when boxes would arrive. Delivered to the wrong location. Almost impossible to get anyone to call me back, they never accepted responsibility.

I arrived to Yakima late in the afternoon yesterday, Sunday,anyway, they were very helpful and took car eof me right away even though I had no reservation.

The staff all have attitudes, especially Matt. They were never helpful without being prodded or cajoled. The people are the reason we left and moved our storage
at times when visiting after usual office hours, the alarm systems were clanging...I never saw anyone respond to alarms. alarm sounded after correctly entering after usual posted business hours.
The whole process was horrible, I was not charged what I was quoted and I also was charged double! Not only did it take 3 hours to reserve in california but took about 4 to find it here in washington.
Rest room out at the storage units could be cleaned and stocked more often.

Items taken/ missing. Locked out of my unit even though I paid in full for it.
We waited nearly 20 mins. until someone finally came to the front desk. There was 4 people in line by that point. Otherwise was very pleased with unit and price.
Great customer service. Had a gentleman come over and help me lift a heavy box, as I can imagine he saw me struggling, and helped me without even being asked! Storage units were a little dirty though

No statements or notices sent until locked out. Agent who set up account couldn`t spell. Every visit to the office took a long time. the agents were friendly and courteous.
The units was very clean and secure. Access was adequate as I did not need 24 hour access. My ex could have used it but she agreed to the business hour access to save on the rental amount. Thank you.

Was told that rent would be pro rated and refund accordingly. Not the case..
Customer service was great during rental of storage unit, but it took three trips and two phone calls to close my account.
I had excellent experience with the U-Haul staff. Matt Vatshell, the manager, was particularly helpful at all levels.
In the last few months the service has gone down hill a little. Harder to get help w/out an attitude.

The process took 55 minutes and then the truck spudered and stalled out of the drive way. I left the vehicle across the street and cancelled the rental.

I am grateful for the time that I used one of your storage units. It was a great help during the time I needed it.
The manager, Joel Savage, is outstanding.
We rented 4 units for over 10 months and part way through someone unilaterily decided to change our pass code without notifying us and for absolutely no other reason than someone else wanted it.
Our experience with U-Haul in Yakima was very positive. The storage facility was secure and clean and easily accessed. Our one suggestion might be to extend the hours later.
Great facility! Felt very secure storing my stuff there. Would use it again without any hesitation...
The facility was very nice but it could not make up for the extremely poor customer service.
The only negative I had was that there weren`t enough attendents to provide timely service. I had to wait about 20 minutes to pickup the truck and then about another 20 minutes to turn it back in.

The alarm blared non-stop for several hours while unloading and returning equipment, and gave us both quite a headache. The fact that it wasn`t responded to gave us pause.
