experience was good - no suggestions
When I called to extend the time gentelman told me it was $29 for another hour then I told him then im going to keep it for another 24 hrs and he said no just for that hour it was $29. Not sure if he was new but I had to point out it did not make sense then he asked his manager.
More customer service agents are needed at peak hours to shorten wait times.
The truck was really banged up and smelled. The steering wheel was greasy and it smelled dirty.
the employees work as fast as they can but it is a busy store and could use more help to avoid long waits.
Eric was most accommodating while hooking up equipment. Carefully explaining the way and importance of properly hooking equipment up correctly.
Have a better system to know where your trucks are. Customers should not have to go to two different locations to pick up a truck that was reserved almost two weeks prior to our moving date.
We had a problem with a fuse on the blinkers and your staff was amazing .
EVAN AND THE OTHER GUYS ARE ALWAYS VERY KIND AND QUICK TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I thought that I was treated well and appreciated the service.
It was far too busy with too few employees. I get that it was a busy saturday but it took far too long standing in line. I did the pre check in but still had to go throuhg the whole rigamarole of checking in. In the middle of checking in after standing in line the guy took the time to turn on the radio and find loud music he liked. No need for that. overall good location and reasonable rates. I rent fairly often and don't like to stand around waiting for someone to help me.
Extremely quick & easy return. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Fabulous customer service.
Used this location for moving trucks and moving supplies several times over the years. Always had good customer service and vehicle/supplies available and ready.
Pick-up took at least one-half hour, standing in line. Once with an agent, went well.
This place is excellent and should be a model for all future uhaul locations. If I ever have to move again, I am coming here!

Their first comment upon my arrival was that this was an in-town truck, although they did not explain the difference. They were pleasant and although initially they tried to charge me an extra day for being "1/2 hr late", they did remove that when I explained that I knew the exact time that I got the truck and that I was just on time and not late. They also removed the additional miles, when I explained that we had to take the long way around instead of coming down 395 because of our fear the truck would not make it over the mountain coming down 395. We would have been right. The truck was taken to the repair shop. I'm thinking only constant prayer kept the thing on the road. It was truly awful. The guys at this end were, however nice and understanding.
extremely rude over charged us by 10x lying on total cost never ever will i use any uhaul or would recomend to every person an know to not use this company!!!!
When hooked my trailer up the signal and brake lights did not work. I called the rental office and asked if there was someone who could trouble shoot problem. Robert said yes there was a mechanic available. When I arrived 20 minutes later I was told the mechanic had just gone to lunch. I had to wait an hour and then mechanic found a bad fuse is the truck. Due to this delay I was unable to return the truck by 5 pm.
We rent vehicles at this location often. They are always friendly and efficient; never a problem
The Front Desk young man staff who helped who rented the vehicle to us was courteous and well-informed.
Everyone is super cool there at redlands and very professional. .... I'll be back for sure

We were in and out of there in under 10 min. The service was awesome.
Dont delay informing customer about equipment availability. Explain return times, dont add on additional fees, insurance without customers approval.
I originally reserved a trailer at this location 2 weeks in advance only to be notified 1 day before pickup that it was not available and was sent to another location. I was not informed of a specific return time and was charged an extra day plus an additional fee for insurance without my knowledge or consent. This Redlands location needs to learn acceptable business practices. Stay away from this location at all costs!

Perfect move for what I needed it for.
We had a fuel gauge issue that caused the tank to be filled when wee only needed to replenish half a tank,the employee and manager were not helpful on resolving this and only commented that we should have read the fine print,not good customer relations.
1/2 of staff I dealt with were rude and inconsiderate. Let a person know you're going to lunch so they don't stand in line 10 min only to be next and told you have to go stand in another line
truck was covered in mud and back was dirty but we cleaned it out before returning. Other than that, all went smoothly. :)
Free Doughnuts and coffee.
The truck was in poor condition, did not start consistently and when we did the walk around saw more of the stickers for previously noted damage than paint on the truck. At one point when the truck was having trouble starting, we waited for 10 minutes on hold with the "emergency line" until hanging up and getting a jump start. Lastly, when we went to pick up the truck, it had not been swept or mopped out, and the cab had an overwhelming smell of marijuana. We asked for a different vehicle, and were told that this truck was the only one they had, but the worker offered to "spray the cab" for us. Overall, a very poor experience.
The scheduler arranged for us to pick up a truck and auto transport at one location on Monday in Redlands. On Saturday, a UHaul representative said that not only must we wait until 9AM on Monday(they open at 7AM) but we would have to go to 2 different locations to pick up the 2 vehicles. Poor planning and service.
They hooked up the Tow Dolly wrong to the Car and almost lost it on the highway. Then One of the Chains was not attached to the vehicle or the truck that is the reason why I almost lost my vehicle while I was towing it.

Had some unfortunate issues with my reserved truck not being available, but the General Manager was more than fair in compensating for the trouble it caused me.
Mr. Cotton was was very professional and helpful.
Stay open until 8 PM.... working people that drive distance have a hard time getting to that location by 7 PM....
the person who helped, Rob Cotton was outstanding. Best UHaul experience I have ever had. Customer service on both pick up and drop off was great.
Excellent customer service, the entire staff was very efficient and professional.
Being and older but regular user of Uhaul, I was a dealer back in the 60's, I find it a pretty nice experience as I already know the deal. The reps seem to be trained well and are amazed when I come thru ahead of them.

Customer should be able to pay on a pro rated basis if the rented item is returned late .
NOT a full 24 hr amount .
That is not a fair policy if you ask me .
I will look at another choice next time
Great service and extremely knowledgeable workers.
Seems like there is a problem with staffing. I came on Labor day to return my vehicle and there was only one guy working the whole store. There were 2 or 3 people returning things and about 4 others waiting to rent all at once. He was extremely efficient and got things done quickly, but it seems like they should have had at least 2 people working to get things done.
More customer reps! Had 9:30 pickup appointment and had to wait one hour for truck with only three people helping (inside and out) 12 customers???? Other than this, I do like this location.
You guys were great just keep it up
Too many contracts in the works for UBox to be customer friendly. Customer does all communication between parties involved. I will NEVER recommend or use this service again.
Personnel shortage. We had to wait over 30 mins for drop off
The processing was really fast and they answered all my questions thoroughly.
The trucks should be driven on the highway to evaluate their steering performance. I had to return the first truck that was rented to me because it had horrible steering.
Service with a smile goes a long way.
Had to wait in line almost an hour before I got to the counter to pick up my reserved truck. There was only one employee at the counter most of the time, and the line extended all the way to back of the store, plus some. The employees all had a great attitude, but were extremely overwhelmed. Management needs to staff more help, especially on the last Sunday of the month.
Although we had a reservation for Sunday the 30th, and arrived at opening of 9 am, the line was over 10 customers long and we waited over a half hour for service. By the time I left, the line was all the way back to the wall, with only 1 staff to help all these customers and 2 outside, a total of 3 employees working. Very poor staff planning......should have had a lot more people working because everyone in line y had reservations which means Uhaul knew they were coming and still failed to staff appropriately.....no excuse for this!
Had to wait in line for over an hour to get to the counter and picked up a rental even after the reservation had been confirmed online
It was a very busy Sunday morning for drop off, the yard guy was very helpful and had a great attitude even though he was very very busy, Thumbs up to the yard guy !!
Having a reservation on a Saturday was a good idea. Checking out the truck was easy and fairly quick. Returning the truck was super quick and easy. I was definitely impressed!

Very nice pick up truck and your service personnel were very nice. I think you guys are great. One thing though, the people truck was not washed and windows were dirty. The truck only had 35000 miles, still new.
More staff during peak business hours.....waited in line too long ...
Check before get it, I got a broken trailer wheel
99 cents per mile is too much. Furniture pads should be free. Charge $10 for each pad not returned.
Rent the trucks/vans with at least 1/2 a tank. I had 1 that I started with 1/4 tank. These gas guzzlers slurp fuel. With 1/4 tank I have to go to the gas station twice. Once to keep it moving and once to return it.
N/A. I'm a returning customer, the service is always great, very efficient.

The technician (retired Navy) was very helpful!
2 issues with the truck: missing dolly, inside railing falling off! Could have really used both during our move!! Also my father-in-law was told that when he used his card to rent the truck we could use a different card to pay the total. Not the case when turning the truck in! Unacceptable!

Could use a little more explanation upfront on the operation of the vehicle.
The truck didn't have brakes had to drive with no brakes to another location, had a reservation for two, truck was 3 hrs late. Next truck had no air had to get that repair took two more days, pd out $750. 00 to workers who had to sit unload truck with no brakes and reload the other one, took exactly one wk to get to my destination which should have been two days at the most.
I would rate it a very pleasant experience Mr Robert cotton was extremely pleasant to deal with and the other service providers seem very helpful to other customers the night drop box is very helpful as well due to the fact that I return the U Haul truck slightly after 7 p.m. there was no problems with our transaction I would use their service again and recommend it to others
Truck was old but, customer service was fantastic and total experience was fantastic!

Redlands Uhaul is wonderful I have rented from them before. BURBANK LOCATION NEEDS TO LEARN FROM EVERY OTHER LOCATION ON CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I have over 33 years of hands on CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE MEDICAL FIELD!!!! Redlands customer service is excellent!!!!
Uhaul never mentioned an additional $100 fee to release the box. One box is not enough to move a normal studio, no matter what they tell you. Never again!!
Even though the location was busy and took longer than expected to return the vehicle it was a pleasant experience. I will definitely use this location the next time I need a truck.

listen to what the customer needs. I rented a trailer that wasn't big enough and when I told the employee it was too small I was told " well this is what you get" because of the manager at this location I will never return to Redlands u haul and because I don't have a car hauler or my own I am forced to rent 2-3 times a month. I will review other options at this point. Very disappointed.

I had to wait over and hour while they tried to get my 26 foot truck to hook up with the trailer i was pulling. It cost me$100.00 in labor while my loaders sat waiting for me to return with the trailer to finish loading!!! They should have made sure it was ready to hook up and roll down the road. I want a refund on the lost labor expence!!

WORST! Stood 3hrs on a Sunday for uboxes prebooked online. *REP SNAPPEDBLAMED* I had 20FT TRUCK rented +PREpaid movers. Rep re-did app 4x, typos, same info. Lost $300+, my acct shows 3x ubox charges!
