Ethan was knowledgeable, efficient & personable. He took control to make sure the drawbar had the trailer mounted at the right height. Employee retention warrants a raise.
Donald PDon’t rent out a vehicle with a quarter-tank of gas in it. Luckily, we had a short-distance move but that would have been a terrible way to start off a moving day had we had to go long-distance.

George MEthan W was very helpful. We walked in and out within a few minutes. He hooked up trailer and in doing so saw there was a cut in one connection so he took it off and replaced it. He was very knowledgeable about the equipment. He was there when we returned it. Sent an email recept and we were headed home. It was a great experience.

Sylvia LThe van I rented the driver side door did not seal all the way so the wind was blowing in the door. Which made it very loud in the van. It seems that the van door was slim jimed more than once and now the door is dent. Which made it very loud at highway speeds. Would differently recommend they fix it.

They also inspected the truck when we explained what happened at the pickup location and when we told them about the windshield wipers they said they would replace them so the next person would not have the difficulty that we had. Excellent service at this location.

Roberta MThe checkout process was very slow, I understand the fellow working the computer was a new employee, I think someone should have been there with him so he would not have to leave the area every time he had a issue with the computer or a question, I had a 9:00 pick up time never left the checkout desk till 9:35 then spent 10 minutes trying to find the truck! I have rented from Uhaul in the past always reserve truck online useually out the door in less than 10 minutes
Lawrence HI think there should be a check list . When u pick up equipment it should be gone over and things checked off to make sure it is ok.

Lori MThe only thing I was upset about was before we even left my driver accidentally locked the trees in the truck. We were only 1/2 miles from the UHaul store and it cost $250 to get it unlocked. Seemed a bit much for the location we were at and before we even got on the road.
Brenda NJust would have been nice to have a full tank of gas to start instead of a 1/4 tank. But it was no big deal to fill it before we started. Person there was very helpful and informative. Thanks!

He handled my request and contract with ease and in a very timely manner making sure that I understood everything. I would recommend this U-Haul store to anyone in the Gettysburg and surround area to make arrangements here. Everything went smoothly and I was on time making my appointed time because of the efficiency of this store. I am grateful for Ethan's help. Good Job !

AMY B | Overall ExperienceBad uneven seal on shed door at bottom. Rat poison dispensers and mouse glue traps on floor inside my assigned shed. Employee told me unit is not as temperature regulated as website claims. Also told me there was a flood at these units the week before & renters had to be called about it. Manager of facility absolutely refused to give me even a partial refund, even though I returned less than 24 hrs later to retrieve my stored items the very next day after renting the unit! I stood in front of employee who called their manager, and she did not even hesitate to say no to my refund request. The employee was aware that I was retrieving my stuff, but they marked my move out date almost a month later as a ploy to keep my money. I've trusted u-haul my entire life. (I'm in my 50's) but am utterly appalled and disappointed in this u-haul location and their lack of decency and professionalism!!!
THOMAS S | Overall ExperienceRAT POISON TRAPS AND MOUSE GLUE TRAPS, A TOTAL OF 3 INSIDE THE UNIT I RENTED. NO SEAL AT BOTTOM OF ROLLING DOOR ON RIGHT SIDE UNDER LOCK AT DOOR LEVEL. I WAS TOLD THE UNITS AT THIS FACILITY HAD RECENTLY FLOODED. THIS STORAGE LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE PROFESSIONAL AND CLEAN UNITS IN THE ONLINE VIDEO. I WAS ASKED BY THE EMPLOYEE ON DUTY FOR MY LOCK CODEWORD ON THE $15 LOCK I HAD JUST PURCHASED. WHEN I TOLD HIM I FELT UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THAT HE SAID HE DID NOT HAVE TO HAVE IT. ALSO, I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION BY U-HAUL'S ONLINE ADVERTISEMENT THAT THESE UNITS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE CLIMATE CONTROLLED. I WAS HOWEVER TOLD THAT THESE UNITS ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO EXTREMES OF BOTH HEAT AND COLD. THE STUFF I PLANNED TO STORE WOULD HAVE BEEN AT RISK. I RETURNED THE FOLLOWING MORNING, THE DAY AFTER I HAD RENTED THIS UNIT, TO RETRIEVE MY ITEMS. I DID NOT FEEL THEY WERE SAFE THERE. I ASKED FOR A PARTIAL REFUND SINCE I HAD RENTED THIS UNIT FOR LESS THAN 24 HOURS, AND WAS REFUSED BY THE MANAGER THAT THE PERSON ON DUTY CALLED ON THE PHONE. I WOULD BE HAPPY WITH A REFUND FOR 3 WEEKS NOT USED, SINCE MY STUFF WAS THERE OVERNIGHT.
