Just a drop off, so can't say much about the facility.
I was given the wrong van which can happen but when I picked it up I learned that the change that I'd made to my reservation that morning hadn't been processed. We had to start the procedure all over. Happily it did result in the same price that was quoted earlier. Also, while the van was clean inside, it was graffiti covered outside and one door falling off. Everyone I spoke with however was extremely helpful and professional, eager to help.
Was online for an hour to get sent to another line for another 30 minutes

There is one thing I do want to complain about Chris was the only guy working this Saturday everybody called out you need to fire people and get real people who want to work

I RECIEVED A TICKET FOR OVERNIGHT PARKING OF A COMMERICAL VEHICLE IN WHICH I WILL PAY BECAUSE I READ BLOGS OF WHAT HAPPEN TO PEOPLE WHO DONOT PAY A TICKET THAT THEY RECIEVED WHILE RENTING A U-HAUL VEHICLE

This particular location was understaffed. It took about an hour for the gentlemen to tend to other customers, complete my paperwork and give me the keys to a cargo van. Just when I thought that I could drive off, I found the cargo van could not be moved because there were 2 other cargo vans behind it. The gentlemen at U-Haul switched cargo vans, though.
My only concern is how UHaul does not access this site on their web page. When you Google U Haul in the Bronx this location fails to come up. When I put my zip code in the U haul site I have to make an effort to find this location. This location has a large inventory and always has had vehicles needed available. Web site should promote this site much more.
I was charge 30 dollars for gas after I fill the gas tank to the proper level and that was very unfair and very unprofessional and no I will never recommend U-Haul to a friend I feel they rip me off and I think they're bunch of thief
Rented a truck and did not use the hand truck. When truck returned the clip of the hand truck broke causing me to pay for the hand truck. I did not fight to keep my money because I was too tired to fight that battle. But I think it is unfair practice to not have proper equipment that wont break and cause clients to be charged unecessarily
Having parking for renters (customers) where we can leave our vehicules while using rented truck.

There should be more staff on duty. The waiting period for a 9:00 am reservation was over an hour. When I returned the van I also waited at least thirty minutes to see an agent.
Great customer service. Fast and friendly and absolutely helpful in all aspects.
The truck was given without securing the ramp or the rolling door, and was driven several miles before we were aware of the danger that we were causing. The maintenance personnel at this location need retraining in order for this not to happen again.
Uhual choose a location NOWHERE NEAR my home and as a result used up 13 of my free 38 miles. Felt they could have moved a one way truck to a huge location in Riverdale that was near my home
Cleaner vehicle, quicker checkout time, ability to process Tax exempt payment. I stood on line a loooooooong time. Overall very poor experience.
The truck that i rented is in need of a wheel aligment, I drove from NY to Boston and then to NJ and back to NY, while i was driving, the truck was all over the road NO BALANCE. The aircondition fan was going on and off by itself. Coffee stain on dash board and windows was dirty...

The Hand truck that was tried to the wall took space in the truck on that side of the wall.
Make sure location keeps money on hand to give refunds for cash deposits.
The people are rude. They also charge you for items you never purchased. This U-haul location refuses to refund monies owed, for merchadise that was never purchased.
the service was speedy and my representative, Rick (I believe that was his name) was informative. I do wish that there was onsite parking as well as after hours drop-off was available.
Made a reservation for 24 hours and when I went to pick up the truck I was told I can only have it for 6 hours.

Although we had to switch trucks..#1 Truck, windshield filthy, tried windshield fluid to clean...none...put windshield fluid in and leaked out. Switched to truck #2...engine check light was on, told truck would not break down. Returned truck without breaking down. Personnel was excellent and attentive. I would definitely recommend U-Haul and this location to anyone. Very impressed with store supplies. Again, Personnel was attentive and very accommodating...would not let us leave until satisfied. Thank you!
it would be nice if you have a reservation that you did not have to wait in the same line as those who do not have a reservation, It made for a huge delay when picking up the vehicle.
On Tuesday 8/20/13 I had the pleasure of being serviced by Mr. Andre Darby, he install a hitch it my car that took longer than expected. I must complement him for his professionalism, patience and his outstanding customer services mannerism. At no time did he make me feel that on I came in 15 late to start the installation nor my car gave him a difficult time which it did. He was off the clock when he completed the assignment and made sure i was pleased with the job after he assisted me is renting the trailer. It was a pleasure to be service by him that day and know that when he moved to Florida if he was to apply for U Haul there they will gain an excellent worker. He last day at that location was Thursday and when I returned the next day to drop off the trailer he was present to assure that my travel when well and assisted me until the end. I would very much like for U Haul management office to take time to applaud this young men for a job well done, because of him i will definitely come back to this station again. Thank you Mr. Darby

The price quoted by customer service was not honored by this location. The 'night manager' was less than helpful; he just kept repeating the same thing over and over. In addition, there was no parking, so I had to search for parking several blocks away when I picked up the van. I will not return to this location nor would I recommend it to anyone else. I am considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

great staff but the manager left the store understaffed and the one staff member Andre still was able to complete all the customers needs very professionally. Very dissapointted in the manager staffing abilitiy. One man staff is unexceptable in any location. Manager should be fired. The one man staff should be made manager or at least given a raise( Andre).
Details of ubox process was ever changing, an easy process in theory turned into a headache the delay with pick up caused a several hour delay in our moving schedule.
