Debbie BeckThe truck was clean. But the vent fan didn’t work. In the middle of winter. The wheel alignment was off so bad that it was terrifying to drive. I brought the van back before close, by about 5 minutes I’ll admit. Still, before close. The signage stated to stay in the vehicle and someone would be out to help me. I sat there for 10 min till I saw everyone leaving and getting in their cars. Honestly I would have been fine if someone had just said “sorry were closed” but to just walk out and ignore my existance was so rude. After an extremely hard day of helping a friend move when everything went wrong I had to sit a cry for a minute before I could start doing the online drop off. The day started at 745 with me attempting to acquire my reserved truck and after struggling to get the app process to work, I spent 20 min on the phone to be told no one actually assigned me a truck and I needed to go to another location. Which I did. I spent another 20 min trying to get the app to work and then another 20 or so on the phone with people who sounded like they were put out just having to answer my call, to be told I still was not assigned a truck. By now the original location was open and I went there and got a truck. So 910 I am finally in my truck with the movers I paid for sitting around for an hour. I should be refunded at least the first hour of the movers time. All in all a horrible experience.

Lawrence BaranskiThe location was large and convenient. The trailer itself was poorly maintained. The tongue mechanism that actuates the brakes was incredibly rusted, which produced a lot of noise as well as questionable braking results. There were times where I felt the trailer brakes weren’t functioning at all. I’ve been a U-Haul customer in the past, but this is the first time I’ve used your double axle trailers. I will not be renting one of these trailers again.
Luis CastilloService and location were fantastic. Truck was trash. Alignment wasn't right and the check engine light was on. Would rent from here again because I know they aren't their trucks, but might turn around and ask for a different one next time. Overall opinion of uhaul is definitely lower now, though.

Deidra VaunadoWhen I went to return the uHaul truck to the selected designation, I was informed that 100 Kearsarge, Laurium, MI 49913 does not accept uHaul vehicles during the winter. So I had to drive it to a different location, and walk home in 0 degree weather. Also, why did I have to drop the trailer at one location, and then drop the truck at a different location, only to be turned away?
Shawn CollickThank you for sending the survey. The staff I met during check in and drop off were very courteous and professional. The store was well staffed. The primary reason for my Average rating is the van I rented was not clean. The back of the van had a left over large cardboard box covering the floor of the van, which was littered with dirt and some fragments of a mattress from the last person who used the van. In addition, the cabin of the van had trash under the seat, the gas tank was not full, and the radio was at full blast when I started the vehicle. Simply said, it appears that the rental van was returned without a proper cleaning and reviewed to ensure the van was ready for the next renter. My suggestion to improve the experience for the next customer is to ensure that vehicles returned are properly cleaned and reviewed by your team prior to renting to another customer. When I rent again, I will choose a different U-Haul location based on this experience.

AUDREY JIRJESVan was dirty. Cups and garbage were left from previous customer. Dash and surfaces were dirty. A steady decline in cleanliness in vans I rent from here frequently over that last year or so. GASOLINE LEAKED ONTO MY DRIVEWAY from this 18,000 mile van. Not properly maintained and not sure I feel safe renting from U-Haul anymore. Staff was friendly.

Mary WhitingThe service was great and the counter people friendly, courteous, & efficient. I only had one issue. The truck seemed to be out of windshield washer solvent. I filled the reservoir when I fueled up but the squirters still don't work.
Phillip Babichcup holders could have been cleaner. had a film in them, but the truck was clean and appeared to be well maintained otherwise.
Graddie HallTrucks should be clean. The one I rented wasn’t, cab smelled like cat pee, steering wheel was sticky and passenger side window looked like it was licked by a dog. Also, the steering was loose and was worse when the truck was loaded. The traveling mechanic needs to be on site more then once a month.
