Drop person was unsure of procedure. He had to FaceTime another individual to speak to me. All I wanted was a receipt which proved my drop off. Both men refused to provide documentation. I dropped trailer off on 8/11/23, and received a message from Uhaul on 8/16/23 questioning why I never dropped off trailer. I called on 8/16/23 to explain my experience. After receiving no confirmation I called again on 8/21/23 to explain the situation. I received confirmation on 8/21/23. I’ve used Uhaul many times before. This experience was horrible.

Very frustrated that we were not notified that drop off location on contract (Parker Auto Sales 6102 Univ Blvd East, Tuscaloosa) was not accepting drop offs today (our scheduled return date) and that after driving trailer all the way to initial location on contract, were then instructed that we had to take it to another location (this location) for drop off. While I understand this is not the fault of this location, it is definitely a failure on the part of uhaul to not communicate this ahead of time. Doesn’t seem right that we the customers should be managing the rearrangement of your inventory for you after paying to rent the trailer.

James MoonLot was full- had to make room to park trailer..
Tom MeyerNo customer service at all.
Paul ShaneLocation for drop off has no room. The personnel was not helpful at all. we had to manually moves a trailerer to find a spot to put the return trailer.
Tim SmithThe process was a little different than I’m used to but it worked, the equipment was well maintained. Cody was very accessible when I needed him.
Chadrick MaysWhen I finally found the location the guy gave me a telephone number to call and so I called it and no one answered. Then he told me to take a picture of it to send to them. I got no response after sending a picture of the trailer and the contract. A week goes by and I get an email saying that I haven’t turned the trailer in which wasn’t true. This location needs to be taken away because of the unprofessionalism.
bobby CockrellTypically when I choose a place for pick up and drop off I look at ratings, pictures of the location, and for pick up if it is a trailer or towing I try to find a place that likely knows how to hook it up right (actual Uhaul location or some type of towing or service station). I did not choose this location for drop off. It was chosen for me. When I got to the address provided it was a very sketchy, low end looking motel. There was nowhere to really put the Uhauls. They had mostly pushed them off into the small grass strip they had. I went into the office and the woman told ME to unhook the Uhaul trailer (which they are not supposed to do) from my car, and push it into the grass. Fortunately I more or less knew what I was doing with the trailer. Two women came out while I was unhooking. I struggled to get the trailer into the grass by myself. They helped little. I'm 38 and there's no way a somewhat elderly person could have done it. I attempted to speak to them about the cleanliness of the trailer and some damage from my motorcycles's kickstand as I was trying to do the right thing, however they didn't want to hear about anything and told me to contact the main location in town about anything related to the trailer. They said I was good to go, and headed inside after I confirmed there was nothing for me to sign. They didn't bother to open or look at the outside of the trailer. I contacted the main Uhaul in town, and that woman told me I should contact corporate about the situation. I mentioned an email after pick up reported I would receive a survey, and asked if I should just report that part on there. She asked if I received a text or email yet. I told her no, and she stated that means they haven't checked the trailer in yet. I did not want to later be accountable for things they said did or didn't happen, or charge me for extra days or anything else. I called corporate who attempted to contact a regional manager. When that person didn't answer she sent an email to him with a request to contact me. I never received a call, however I quickly received an email that appeared to be my trailer having officially been checked in with no additional billing. I also received a link for this survey.
