Timothy CI made the reservation online, postponed it by phone, canceled by phone, made a new reservation in person, and turned it in online. The online portions of the process are greatly appreciated, but frustrating. The photo uploading is most troublesome.

DESIREE MEverything went good at the pick up location, however the man at the drop off location in Fairborn was awful & extremely rude. He actually forced me to find a different drop off location and told me “I don’t care what you do with it but you’re not parking it here for drop off find somewhere else” despite that being the correct drop off location listed in both my paper & the app! he would not help me find another location to drop it off either. Very rude, and very unprofessional!! Because of that I may never rent a uhaul again!
James NThe system was updated but was not letting them checkout my rental. They relentlessly tried multiple times and made numerous calls to folks who also were not able to help. I want to say thank you to them for their patience and persistence and when we felt it was a lost cause he tried one more time and it worked. Would suggest updates to the system not happen during the work day and do it when offices are closed so it doesn’t create problems for equipment pick up. We spent over 90 minutes to make this work.

SAMANTHA PThis location did a great job for me. However, the other Fairborn location on Sports Street let me down. I made a reservation for 2 Jan, but when I got there the door was locked, nobody home, and they didn't answer the phone. I called the national number who put me in touch with the Dayton regional office who then transferred my reservation to the Broad Street location and from there it was smooth sailing. The folks running Sports Street U-Haul need some training in customer service.

David JWhen I arrived, the so-called 24-hour location was closed. I had to call U-haul customer service for help. Apparently, the key for the vehicle I rented was in a lock box, but I did not receive the code. Fortunately, customer service was very helpful and able to tell me the code so I could get the key. The van was disgusting. It smelled terribly like a little box, to the point where driving it around made us nauseous. There was a crack in the windshield that was not documented. Even the location looked horribly sketchy. We will not go to this location in the future, and we will encourage others to avoid it as well

Robert LPicking up in person was easy, as opposed to the three hour mess I dealt with the day before trying to use the website and app for a different rental at the same location, which included three calls to customer service and a couple chats. The automated check-in went well.
DAVID JRenting at the counter was vastly better than my experience the day before with the online website and app. Online check-in worked much better as pictures loaded quicker.
David JBetter I.T. support. This location seems to have network problems.I was kinda frustrated waiting 15 minutes and watching the employee try to complete the checkout on 4 different devices. The trailer however, performed great, as all Uhaul trailers do.
Michael WHaving to go through the online app was terrible. It took well over an hour to get checked in, and anyone 45 minutes to get checked out. It was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had. The location was fine, although kinda tricky to get to the trucks the first time. Maybe more signage

Ginny HGive someone a heads up when the trailer is reserved for the next day. Got charged for a day for the trailer and didn’t even get to keep it, then they still rented it out to the next person so they got paid twice for the same trailer.
