Truck battery died and had to wait an extra day to get the truck fixed. Rude older lady working at The Storage Place in Alvin.

I refilled the fuel right before I returned the car(I had a receipt). Then I got charge $22 as the fuel charge. I called the front desk lady and she was not just unhelpful, She was extremely rude. She stated she did not work for Uhaul so she had no intention to at least talk about it or double checking.! I understand I refilled the gas task did not mean I refilled enought. $22 were not something big but the way she handled it was extremely disappointed. That's not the way you do business. Her place collaborated with Uhaul for a reason. Extremely disappointed and furious.

Quick and simple to reserve and the gentleman who helped me was really polite and helpful.

This lady was basically rude when I called. The person from the other location that helped me reserve was sweet so was the other lady who helped me get a trolley from the same location that helped me reserve. I called there for directions on how to get there because google maps was giving me the wrong directions. They kept telling me that it was by Home Depot. I called her and she was rude before she gave me directions. She did not even take the time to give me directions. She automatically said that she has no reservations for this place. I didn’t ask her about my reservation, I asked her for directions. In addition to being rude, what she did was unsafe. I called for directions and she would not give them to me. I told her that the other person at another location helped me. She soon then asked me if my name was Walters and I confirmed that. She then started talking to me like I was an idiot and didn’t know my way around. She finally gave me directions. She needs to learn that when someone calls for directions she needs to give it to them instead of arguing for customer service and safety reasons. I wish I could tell you that was all. She had to make it clear that she does not work for uhaul and this was not really a uhaul business. She put uhaul down and I did not need to hear it. What disappointment me is I was promised a dolly and I was not informed that there was no dolly. She made it clear that it was not her problem. She said that Uhaul will say anything and lie to customers to get the reservation in. It sucked that I had to to go to the other location to get the dolly and the lady did not try to make it right. She was so mean the whole time and my experience was not positive. I had to use the gas for the truck to go to that location to get the dolly. I should not have to pay for the dolly after all of that. I do not think I would want to go to that location again. No one should ever be treated that way. I was promised that I would be guaranteed the items I was renting or my money back.

Excellent service. Hard to believe I found a service that answers their phone and talks to you directly, gets you set up quickly, gets the info they need expediently and completely the first time Good old fashion service where you can still find a handshake and a freindly hello every time. I rented 4 times here. And always will rent here.
